It was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the street noise (vehicular traffic).

Was not pleased. Told I had one of the recently updated rooms. Not good quality. Lumpy beds/pillows. Bathroom was out of date. Chipped paint and mold on ceiling of shower. Was told at front desk that only room was updated, not bathroom yet, as contractors would not work together. Woman at front desk told me that parking at the venue that we were going […] to was only 5-7$ got there and it was 20$ for 5 min, no further suggestions were provided. She was the only one at the front desk when we arrived and kept taking calls while checking us in and complaining to us how she was supposed to provide good service to everyone when she was the only person there to serve us all. Hotel was undergoing renovations but we were given a new room; staff was very friendly and accommodating. AC unit could have been a little quieter; very convenient to railroad and many restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely return to this Best Western location.

I thought this hotel was perfectly fine and suitable. Most Long Island hotels or motels have that "motor lodge" feel - you enter your room from the outside. An OK hotel in a great spot close to the train and shops. I wish the walls wouldn't have been so thin as I could hear the people next door at 6am arguing. The bed was nice but the carpet has stains in several locations. Staff was nice.

This is a very basic hotel last updated who knows when. Room carpeting is stained and furniture and fixtures very warn out looking. Lots of traffic noise. Had to push the up button for the elevator in order to get it to the floor and then go down. Clerk processed my reservation fine, but was pretty "cold" in his communications.

A Check-In error saw me enter my room to be greeted by semi-naked guy who already occupied the... Not a pretty sight, which was a shame...(I have no luck). Great location...near the train and family. It's an old style exterior corridor motel...the wind was so bad on the 5th floor that it was hard to open our doors. The rooms were very poorly insulated...noisy heater. Non-smoking room reeked of smoke (but another non-smoking room was fine). Ok for the location but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Rockville center isn't that nice to begin with. Additionally all of the hotels in the area suck unless you want to pay over 250 a night. It's just amazing how gross this one was though. I mean the carpets smelled!!!

Room was ready when we checked in; however there were no towels in the room. We had to call and it took a while for house keeping to replenish. It just happened that we saw a housekeeper outside and we asked for some towels. Other than than room was efficient for what we needed and the short stay we spent.

On Long Island for the funeral of a family member. The Inn was fine. I didn't like the area very much, but the front desk clerk was extremely accommodating. When I told her I could not find a parking space in this fully booked inn, she went out and moved her car to give me a spot!

If you are non-smoker, don't book with this hotel. they put me in smoking room cause their system can't recognize when we book through hotels.com. They say no more non-smoking room but seems like they only have smoking room. bad smells all around hotel, no shampoo etc... never book if you have children

Even with all the empty rooms we were placed right next to the rail tracks which were loud and the air-conditioner was not strong enough to drown out the sound or even adequately ventilate the room which had a slight odor to it. This hotel could not have been at a better spot. I could walk through a parking lot and be at the Rockville Center LIRR stop. It was super convenient for getting into NYC. The area around the hotel was nice, with a grocery store, CVS, coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Ubfortunately, guests were outside my room at midnight, 2 and 4 in the morning my first night - smoking and very loud conversations. Mangement came up and made them leave. I changed rooms for my 2nd and 3rd nught stays. They gave me a room where the smokers could not stand outside my room. I would not choose to go back to this hotel.
