Hotel was clean and staff helpful and friendly. Hotel is long overdue remodeling. Warn holes in outr room carpet and chair. I asked for a different chair without a hole and they brought one.

I think the hotel was ok their lobby looked alot better then the room. The funiture was very dated. The chair in the room was stained and ripped up. The beds were ok except that they have a plastic cover on them which makes me sweaty and uncomfortable. Then there was the pool was good but they needed to clean the windows bc they are green.

The hotel is right off I-80 (but not so close as to disturb you). The road it's on has many new chain restaurants. The hotel is also 10 minutes away from a nice, indoor shopping mall and 15 minutes from a large factory outlet center. The hotel is a little outdated with dark carpets, poor lighting, and wooden doors. The indoor pool is surprisingly nice. […] We watched the snow come down from the surrounding glass enclosure. We also ate at the hotel restaurant "The Serengeti Grill". Again, it was a little outdated, but decorated well with African and safari details. The food was pretty good and fairly priced. The staff was nothing but nice. The room itself was also outdated. The TV worked with many channels from which to choose including HBO. There is no thermostat, so the fan either stays off or blows a lot of hot air (we did not use the air conditioner). Decor definitely needs updating. Restaurant/Bar area was too dimly lit for breakfast, so much so, we looked for another restaurant for breakfast on the second day. We spent only sleeping hours at the hotel, and did not use any of the other amenities.

The hotel was very close, across the street from a mid size mall, gas and good restaurants. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Not real fancy but you get what you pay for. Good value for the money. My only complaint is the room had a smell of somewhere between moth ball and cholrox.

great location, right off the highway, accessible to everything, yet very quiet. room was spacious, beds very comfortable, flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, fitness room and heated pool! VERY AFFORDABLE! only downside was that the wireless internet connect was way too slow...

The hotel was very outdated and needs some major renovation. It was also very cold in the hallways and the room temp could not be controlled to a comfortable temp. However, the room was clean and the staff was accomodating.

The bathroom didn't even have a toilette paper holder! The room was not dirty, but not clean either. The hotel reamed of smoke and only one of the pop machines worked. We had a good stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room and amenities were clean. Only two notes: The bartender and waiter seemed inexperienced. And there were holes in the shower curtains. If not for these issues, I would give the hotel 4 or 5 stars!

The hotel smells like smoke which they try to cover up by using air fresheners which makes the situation worse. In addition there was blood on the pillow case and a section of the outside of the toilet bowl was dirty! Stay somewhere else!

Monday 10/29/12 I checked into your hotel prior to the storm at around 1:00 pm. On Friday 11/02/11 on my way out to physical therapy I stopped at the front desk, one topic discussed was keeping my room until Monday. The receptionist said "let me know as soon as poosible" I said I will let you know as soon as I return. At 6:30-7:00 when I returned I […] called from my room to extend until Monday only to be told you lost your room, and with my disability had to pack up my kids and brought to Blakeslee at a Ramada Lake Harmony. I live in Pike County and made a decision to seek appropriate refuge before the storm because of my disability and having small children. Hotels I spoke to trying to find another place said "given the siutation our guest who are here have first choice to extend their stay up until 11 a.m. of their reservation stay as their electricity may be still off." My stay at the hotel was fine. Only a few things bothered me. The first thing that bothered me the most as a pregnant customer was the fact that there was no elevator located in the hotel. Therfore, I had to take the stairs. They need to consider adding an elevator into the hotel especially since it is 2012 and should already be included in the hotel. […] Lastly, there is no ventilation in the bathroom such as a fan. The room was fine. The carpets through out the building need to be steamed cleaned ,especially in the rooms. Verry high build up of soiled areas, which wasn't appealing ,upon entering. We stayed there ,due to the timing of our trip,but we will look at other options next time. Over all we rate the hotel a "3" .

NO elevator on this two storied hotel, so my pregnent wife didn't quite like it from the beginning. Room furnitures are old, chipped, carpet had old furniture marks on it. Pillows and bed are not very comfortable. The onsite restaurant is really dissapointing. Horrible lighting, food crumbs were on tables and seats while we wwere seated. they also […] need to appoint few more people to serve and clean since the same person, taking olders for atleast 4/5 tables, bringing food, cleaning the tables, taking the used dishes etc. The only good things are the front desk people and the restaurant waiter. But there is only much that they can do given the above downsides of the hotel and the restaurant. They don't have high speed internet. The speed merely exceeds 150kb/s. Also the business center charges 3$ atelast to loign to it's pc and some more if you want to print a copy or two. I will NOT recommend it to Couple, Family and Business people. If you are only looking for a place to somehow stay overnight, it's ok. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A 2.5 STAR HOTEL. 2 star at best. Đọc thêm

I was there to do an ironman triAthlon Really really really disappointed they would not give me a late checkout till 3pm so I can shower before driving 6hrs home I would have been charged a half rate to keep room till 3 Needless to say William not do the event again nor stay at a best western

Booking a hotel with 2.5 out of 5 stars made me a little nervous. I thought the room would be filthy and ill-kept. I am happy to report that my preconceived notions were incorrect. The room was very clean and comfortable. Literally immediately off exit 302 so very convenient. I would stay here again.

The service was nice, the location is good, but the cleanliness of the hotel room was not the best. The shower curtain was holey, their was hair on the walls of the shower/bath, and the rugs were filthy. Our stay was quite lovely at the Howard Johnsons hotel in Bartonsville. Very clean room, and loved the Serengeti Restaurant for breakfast. No discernable noise level heard, except for an occasional closing of a door.. Slept great and beds were confortable. Wished they had a fan in the bathroom to dehumidify after taking a shower. Couldn't see my face […] in the mirror and it was hard getting dresssed. Loved the convenience of having a microwave and a small fridge in the room. Also would be great if the TV was a little bigger and had clearer reception. Pool was lovely and all in all we had a very nice stay. Great neighborhood for shopping and dining out. Good. It would have been nice to have a water fountain and possible amenities, i.e. complimentary snacks. Lobby coffee machine was 'down' during most of our two night stay. But on-desk personnel were helpful, making good on requests for extra towels/ wash cloths. Appreciated the lobby t.v., available online access.

The location of the hotel was excellent. We spent the day at Camel Beach and the hotel was right off of the highway exit. My only problem was sleeping arrangements. I stated 3 adults and 2 children (in a 2 queen bed room). I figured there would either be a pull out couch or they would provide a pull out bed.
