Overall a good stay. Only thing I did not like was it was a 2 bed room and one of the beds were up against the wall so 2 people sleeping in it wasn't comfortable. You had to crawl to the bottom of the bed to get out of it or over the other person

Overall was very satisfied with the hotel and location. One frustrating part was with the satellite TV or cable TV it was grainy and skipped a lot. Nice location within walking distance of Lake Michigan and numerous downtown restaurants.

Hotel was great! Staff was excellent about giving us ideas for dinner and they were not shy about handing out those yummy chocolate chip cookies. Would certainly go back there. About the only drawback I saw was that the bathrooms were a little smaller than I expected. Was certainly not a dealbreaker though.

Dirty stinking room and upon a complaint all they had to offer was a spray of some more **** in the room. i will be filing a complaint against them.

Very nice, clean hotel. We thought we had a junior suite to find we only had a king bed for three people. They gave us a better rate, a roll away bed, some warm cookies and free parking for our trouble. Being right downtown I heard at least five sirens during the night but that is beyond their control. We were at the Badger Regional Championships at […] the Frontier Center and the hotel was very conveniently located, but it would have been nice if we didn't have to walk outside. Hotel picked due to proximity to the Delta Center in downtown Milwaukee. Hotel staff was excellent, front desk, room service, valet parking and manager. Rooms were clean and facility was clean. My complaint is the rooms at the front of the building were VERY noisy from outside traffic. Sounded as if you had the window open. Would recommend asking for […] a room to the back of the building. The other complaint was the room got very warm. Not until the next morning when I spoke with the manager were we told that the AC had not been turned on in the building yet for the year. This was my third time visiting within the year. The staff must be consistent. They recognized me and was very friendly. To my surpprise, I received a gift basket being a value customer.

I was told at the time of booking that the room was a smoking room. When I checked in, the rep told me that there were NO smoking rooms available at the hotel. If I had known this I would not have booked the room.

The hotel stay met all of our expectations. The rooms are not overly large, but they were clean and the staff was friendly and patient. The only negative I can think to remark on was that the elevators seemed particularly slow.

Nice experience except for not receiving my breakfast request. I attached breakfast request to door handle around 9pm requesting breakfast between 6:45 and 7am. When I awoke my request was still hanging on the door.

Valet parking was expensive and slow even though they had many people working. Room was very dry. Overall not bad though. Friendly staff.

This hotel had a friendly staff, nice room, easy check out...across the street from the Delta Airlines Center, 1 block to Capital Grille, next door to Hilton with Starbuck's in it...downtown Milwaukee so it is close to everything. This hotel is a good value-fridge and coffee, chair, desk in room.

What I didn't like about the hotel is the valet parking, I paid $15.00 to park thinking I would be parked at the hotel in covered parking only to find I was park outside . The next morning it had snowed and when the valet brought us our car he didn't even clean the windows to drive it to us, all he did was turn on the wipers to see so he could drive […] it across the street. What a great stay. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even printing off walking directions for us. The location is right downtown and a 1 minute walk to starbucks.

Pretty much the whole experience of staying here was average to below average for the price I was paying. Sometimes customer service was above average. The worst part - which can't really be blamed on the hotel - was that someone was smoking (both cigarettes and...something else) in a room somewhere on my floor and the smell completely infiltrated my […] room and made all my clothes smell like smoke and made it hard to fall asleep. The hotel attempted to deal with it, it's a tough situation to solve I recognize, but it smelled the whole night and no effort was made to compensate the people who's stay was very negatively affected by it (they could have given us a refund, voucher, free parking, helped us move to a different floor...any effort would have been nice, but didn't happen.) For the price this place was great. Very close to shopping, restraunts and some great bars. The valet service was great. The lady that checked us in was great in telling us where to go and which bars were the best for our age group, where the best restraunts were. Room service was excellent also.

We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location or cleaner and friendlier hotel. Everything was excellent. The only complaint I can think of is that there was no pillow provided for the pull out sofa bed that our son used. We had to borrow a pillow from the master bedroom. Other than that one small item, everything was perfect.

This is a wonderful hotel and a great buy! The staff, from the restaurant staff to the amazing valet staff to the incredible front desk staff, were just awesome, so friendly and so helpful with every request and any request. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk or inexpensive cab trip to great restaurants and shopping and the conference centers. […] The room was wonderfully clean and blessedly quiet, the bed was SO comfortable! My room was very hot and even with the air on, it did not get cold. I also found out later that I could have stayed at another convenient hotel for half the price of double tree:( Staff was very nice.

The hotel was pleasant however it was noisy. We could hear the vacuum cleaner from the floor above us. We heard people talking in the hall, we heard the TV from the next room as well as talking. The cookies were great, a nice touch.

However, the queen size bed was extremely small and we got a handicapped room where the water from the shower leaked all over the bathroom and the water pressure was terrible. They didn't have the room that we booked. Then put us in an upgraded room but forgot they gave it to us. Figured that out when other guests tried to enter our room. They "compensated" us with a "gift bag" consisting of 2 bottles of water and some nutrigrain bars. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

Good location for enjoying downtown Milwaukee, room very comfortable, bed was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Friends of ours stayed in the nearby Hilton and I must say the Doubletree was much nicer--the bed was truly amazing. I cannot overemphasize the quality of sleep we achieved under the soft duvet on that fabulous mattress with all those pillows.... Wonderful toiletries from Crabtree and Evelyn. This was a nice hotel with the exception of being a little on the pricey side. The staff was VERY nice. Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful.
