Lots for the kids (or adults) to do - ping pong, billiards, foosball, swim. Plus the in room microwave and refridgerator were handy. Free breakfast and cocktails were a nice bonus. This place to close to everything great service and the kids loved the indoor heated pool.

My friend and I always stay at the Elegante when we come to Abilene because the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the staff is wonderfully courteous and helpful. We especially enjoy the made to order breakfast, on real plates, not paper, which gets us ready for a full day of nonstop shopping. It was a very nice place to stay and it's amazing that it's a hotel of suites and reasonably priced.

No parking! Tried to put us in smoking room when we reserved nonsmoking. Needed more than 30 minutes to find us a nonsmoking room . . . directly above a party. My small children didn't get to go to sleep until after 11:30 PM.

After a long drive through a blizzard, it was a great rest stop for the night. Enjoyed relaxing in the spa and steam room...and the breakfast was beyond what I expected!

First time to Abilene, hotel breakfast was the best. Walked to dinner and very pleasant stay. Plan to go back to visit again.

booked a non smoking room and got there and they gave us a smoking and refused to fix it. the room for a smoking room really wasn't that bad

We have stayed at this hotel three times now. The rooms are a great size and clean even though they are older. The free full breakfast is delicious. The staff is very nice but we have had problems with our reservations each stay. They never put us in the room we request, which is simply a non-smoking king. 1970 is the last time this hotel was updated..plaid drapes, outdated furniture, etc...just a mess, worth half of what I was charged

Also love happy hour and the great breakfast!

Nice hotel, dated but undergoing renovations...which we were not made aware of. The dumpsters being emptied at 7 am under our window was unpleasant but other than that the beds were extremely comfortable and the room service was yummy. We will stay there again when construction is finished. About 12 mins from ACU.

An decent hotel. But the absolutely worst cancellation policy (must cancel by 4 pm the day BEFORE your stay) and early departure policy (no refunds for early departure) will keep me from ever staying there again!

We stay here almost every time we travel to Abilene. The hotel is great, room service food is good, but the breakfast leaves something to be desired. For the price we pay, I expect more than plastic plates and mediocre food. The staff was great and everyone was friendly.

Watch out for room 274!! This is the smoking room we received. We booked a nonsmoking room online but the hotel was booked when we arrived this was their only room left.....Just so happens it is on top of the hotel bar!! They have a house band playing on weekends till 1 AM!!!!! And nobody told us that upon arrival to the hotel . We could hear every […] single note and word sang by the band. This is including several curse words yelled out by the lead singer......good thing we hadn't brought our kids!!! We were not able to change rooms. This was a very nice hotel with great food in house and plenty of stuff for the kids to do.

My son and I stayed for two nights. We felt like we were at home. Very comfortable and cozy.

Little things falling apart and lack of attention to details. Too big of a place to maintain. Sloppy. And what's up with the huge Ten Commandments tablet in the breakfast area. Really??

Great place but.. We needed a late check out, they gave us an extra hour. One hotel gave us a late check out of 4:00p.m. But otherwise it was a real nice place for family. We would stay again.

Perfect place for a family to stay something for all ages.

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. They did not have the room available that I had reserved in advance. My children had to stay on a sofa bed together and it was very uncomfortable. The rooms are looking worn out. The furniture is scratched and looking terrible. The alarm clock had been ripped out of the wall. Luckily we had an outside room because […] the noise level coming from the commons area would have kept us up all night. I understand have a hotel that caters to reunions, conventions and such but I have stayed at hotels with a higher volume of people, such as Las Vegas hotels and they were kept up 10 times better than this one. We stayed at this hotel with our family of 5, which includes 3 little boys. We chose this hotel due to the separate bedroom with door and indoor pool. All employees at this hotel were extra kind and helpful as are most people in the Abilene area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. However, the drawbacks were our suite was very warm and did not […] cool off well, it was above 100 each day of our stay. We got a fan from the hotel for our room. And due to the fact of most rooms surrounding an atrium, it was noisy, even late into the night. The white noise from the fan helped drown out the noise. Đọc thêm

This hotel was far better than what the other reviews depicted. It looks like it used to be an Embassy Suites hotel. So, that should tell you something (if you are familiar with that hotel). The room was comfortable. The bedroom was separate from the living area and had a neat miniture kitchen. The whole experience was nothing but divine!! I will definitely […] stay there again!! very nice, awesome breakfast, was graduation weekend and it was pretty noisy but shut the doors between the room and the front door and we were good.

I enjoyed my three stays there in the last year. The price thru you is excellent and the place is handsome and elegant. The breakfast is far better than that supplied most places and the location is good. Staff is good, and the beds and bedding are extremely fine.

Hotel was really nice only thing wrong was the A/c wasn't as cold as it should've been

The staff was very accommodating; moving us to a better room and location with no problems. Hotel amenities are great and suited our needs.

My daughter stayed 3 nights at this hotel & were very impressed with the service, comfort of room, quietness and complimentary hot breakfast. My only complaint would be the maids did not clean the mirrors above the sinks. Will return next time I am in Abilene.

MCM Elegante hotels, from what I've heard, are supposed to be decent. I checked in at 9:00pm on the day of my arrival after driving all day. The room was dirty and I was informed that it would be at least 45 minutes before it was ready... at 9:00pm! The manager on duty was nice enough to offer me dinner (which I had already had) and wiped my tab of […] a couple of drinks at the bar while I waited. Once I entered the room, I noticed a sharp clothes pin stuck in the middle of the living room floor pointed up. The bar was not wiped down and had drink marks from the customers before. Both phone lines were unplugged when I tried to call the front desk. The lamp on the wall hardly worked. Behind the coffee table in the living area was a napkin with blood stains on it. No kidding, it really was. I called the front desk and they sent a housekeeper to fix the problems. There are five or six different wifi connections, and NONE of them worked properly. Constantly logging me off or locking up. Very slow. I was not able to do the work that I had planned on doing whatsoever. The guy they sent up started blaming it on my computer (I had used three different wifi connections that day that were fine). Once I laid down, I could smell perfume from the person before on the comforter next to where my head was when laying down. The floor of the bathtub was bubbly and was raised about three inches from the actual bottom of the tub, so it was cushiony every time you took a step. Breakfast was below par and not very good. Here's the best thing: I looked in the mirror this evening (a day later) and noticed that I have red bumps all over my stomach and back. Bed bugs! I've been on the road for years staying in hotels all over the place and have never had this happen. I would advise no one to stay here. Horrible experience for the money. Đọc thêm

This hotel is awesome my husband and I loved it, the room was clean the service was wonderful, we ordered food the night we stayed and it was the best steak and food in general, we loved the hotel so much we are planning a trip with all the kids to go, they have a pool table, ping pong table, foozeball table a little arcade a nice pool, across from […] the mall, and restaraunts, wonderful overall stay!!! we have recommended it and will keep recommending it!!
