Comfort Inn Plainwell - Plainwell

We had cancelled a second night at the Best Western Hospitality Inn because of their poor service. The night we spent at the Comfort Inn Plainwell was 1000 times better than there! The only downer was that the check in attendant wasn't very friendly. She asked if I knew that my room was on the second floor, and I said no, she said well it is. I asked […] if there is an elevator (I have mobility issues and cannot climb stairs). She said there's no elevator. I asked if I could have a room on the first floor. She was rather rude in her reply that I would have to pay for it myself. I didn't mind paying the extra $2.52 but she could have been more friendly and understanding. Đọc thêm

This was a surprisingly beautiful hotel! Pool, spa, rooms, etc were top notch!! As a business traveler, I loved the 24 hour coffee bar available in the lobby. This was a very enjoyable hotel stay and the staff were excellent. Definite yes!

We walked into our room and really thought we had walked into a 4-5 star hotel. We have stayed in Ritz Carltons, 4 Seasons and Lowes in Europe this room was on a par. The hotel has just been redone and no expense was spared on the rooms. EVERYTHING was not only new but high quality as well. Highly highly recommended.

Our room was adjacent to the lobby and sound from the lobby and breakfast area was mildly annoying. Otherwise the room was nice.

Very nice hotel. What I liked most was the pillows. They were soft not the hard fome kind.

One nice thing - I like a quiet hotel, and this one had no outside noise coming through the windows. I could see the birds flying and landing by the window, and I know they were making noise but I couldn't hear them - sweet.

clean, quiet and what you'd ask for. Of course I'm not 16 anymore the pool was a little cool for me but not others.

The only hotel in town and very nice and clean, but very overpriced for the area. Even with expedia discount, felt it was too much. It is next door to a resturant that is ok, but right next to the interstate and we saw police flashing lights for a long time in our window. Wish they had some competition so they may reduce their rates.

Our whole extended family had to stay in this hotel for a funeral and their hospitality and service were outstanding. The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was delicious with wonderful variety. The only slightest drawback was that there wasn't an elevator for my uncle who walks with a cane, but he managed. It was a pleasant surprise. Easy access off the highway, and close to most many types of stores. Nice, safe area. It was very nicely renovated. The room and bath were clean. Free WiFI internet, nice size flat screen TV with cable including HBO, etc. We were treated very well by staff. Free breakfast.

I was a bit concerned about the Comfort Inn located in Plainwell because after I booked it, then checked reviews as it got closer to my stay... the reviews were only about two stars. I travel for my job and usually stay at a different hotel chain but decided to change things up and try out this place. I was very worried the hotel was going to be "scary" […] and unclean but I was pleasantly surprised to find it the opposite. The hotel was recently renovated and it is great! The room I stayed in was very clean, very nice and the hotel in general was way above what I expected. The location was conveniently located close to a Meijer, eating establishments and the High Way. The hotel was very clean. The staff very pleasant. I had my miniature poodle with me and i only paid a nominal amount for a pet charge. I didn't stay at other hotels in the area because the pet charge is outlandish! I walked down to grocery store at night. Very safe.
