The location is not particularly glamorous, alrbought still only 5 mins walk to the lake. Very nice and trendy interiors and attentive staff. Great bar in the lobby!

I received great service on check-in. It was early morning after a long flight but the staff went out of their way to ensure I got a room, freshened up and ran to my meeting. The hotel is clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it.

Great hotel, great service. Only complaint I had was the room was too warm and I could not control it by adjusting the temperature gauge. Informed hotel staff and they noted the issue. Great staff, great mood lighting, would definitely stay there again. Hotel convenient to tram, rail and a few blocks from the water. The hotel and the staff were really nice. The hotel was being refurbished and only part of it was open. It had no restaurants or room service at the time. The work was going to be finished in a few weeks. They offered me breakfast for free, normally 40CHF which I thought was a nice touch. The hotel is nice and only 3 blocks from Lake Geneva. This being the first time in Geneva, I didn't know the hotel is on the fringe of the "international district" which is a little rough. A few blocks to the south is the red light district. I accidentally wandered into it and was surrounded by ladies of the night (about 1/2 a dozen per city block), […] and it was only 6 pm! Reminded my of the Tenderloin in San Francisco (not as rough, but close). You definitely have to be careful going out at night. The hotel is nondescript on the outside, but very nice on the inside. I just got a bad room. It was on the 2nd floor facing the street. The windows must have been single pane because I can hear every car driving by and every conversation as pedestrians walked by under my window. It was a warm summer night and the apartments across the street had many windows open and one can hear all the noises from those. There was a small smoke shop across the street that opened until midnight. When it closed, the store keeper had his truck loading and running for almost 1/2 hour. This noise went on until 1 am. I finally was able to fall sleep. At 7 am, loud banging started outside my window. Initially, I thought it was garage day and would go away after a few minutes. Well, it continued. Turns out that side of the hotel was being renovated and it was nonstop construction noise. Overall a bad experience. I'm ok staying here on business but would never bring my family. Đọc thêm

This hotel was convenient to the train station (~10 minute walk), the lake front (~5 minute walk) and old town (~10 minute walk). The rooms are nice and a good size. Room was great, clean and spacious (for 2 people) but was billed as a room for 4-5. Great view, good location and overall very nice. Couple of problems, it is very, very noisy. The people on the street yell all hours of the nite and there is no maid service. When you run out of toilet paper you need to go to the store and buy it yourself.

Found the Hotel Epsom staff helpful and friendly. The service and accommodation was very good - clean and comfortable. Location was also convenient for both walking and transport links.

Sorry, But I chose this hotel based on previous reviews and thought I would have a nice experience. Not at all, besides the staff being helpful, the breakfast (30 CHF/pers) was a buffet with fruit on the verge of being rotten, cold pain au chocolat, diluted fruit juice and cold scrambled eggs and other dishes that should have been served warm. The hotel […] cleaning ladies were not very sublte...banging the doors, coming in the room even with the "do not disturb sign on"...my husband had to jump out of the bed at 7:30 to ask the person who came in to let us be, if it wouldn't be a bother to her, of course... VERY VERY POOR noise barrier...couldn't sleep all night because of crying babies (Have nothing against families) and children jumping on bed at night and morning, noise from the street with banging of doors coming from what sounded as loading trucks...not sure where we were, but it was rather residential... When I mentioned the noise issues, no effort was made to give us a less noisy room... This is a nice clean hotel for a reasonable fee. It is 8-10 blocks from the train station, so pulling our luggage that far was harder than anticipated. The breakfast buffet (no close by alternative) is way too expensive: 30 swiss francs per person, for four of us it was 120 swiss francs or $150 for a breakfast. I was searching for a hotel with a lake view but didn't want to pay the $600+ rates at the well known hotels on the lake. I spotted Hotel Epsom and noted that they did have lake view rooms at rates substantially less than the lakeshore hotels. Even though this hotel is set back from the lake by a couple of blocks, the hotel is high enough and the buildings […] in front are low enough that you actually can get a lake view from some of the rooms (make sure you ask and there will likely be an upcharge). Service was great and the staff was very helpful. Location is very convenient to the tram lines and it's possible to walk from the train station, but I would recommend taking either the #15 or #13 trams instead. High standard service and facilities. Although I think breakfast should always be included in the rate. I was charged separately for it, but the variety and quality of food on the counter wasn't worth that much money. Not that it was of poor quality or anything, it just wasn't outstanding.

This was a good hotel for the cost (it was reasonably priced considering the cost of everything in Geneva). The breakfast was ridiculously priced though, an average buffet breakfast for 40 USD is a bit of a rip off. And the hotel is located on a strange back street that feels almost like a back alley. But, once inside the hotel, it was very nice.

The Epsom Hotel is part of the Manotel group. The qualitative standards are very much comparable among the Hotels of the group. Rooms are clean and large enough. Personal is kind. Pretty good location. A 4-5 blocks from the water in a hotel district. A little unsettling at night but nothing specific. Service was good. Spoke very broken english. We found this hotel to be absolutely lovely. Far better than we expected. The food was great and although not directly in the centre, it was only a 10 min walk to the main train station. So for us, it was perfect! Highly recommended.

Quiet and comfortable room. The Epsom is well located for the main train station (Cornavin, 5-10 mins walk) and the lake. 15-20 mins walk to the old town. Some folks might not like the fact that The Epsom is in The Paquis which has lots of bars and restaurants but is also the red light district (although a Swiss red light district is pretty discreet). Disadvantages […] of this hotel: - breakfast is not included and CHF30 is a lot although it was a very good buffet (but cheaper to have breakfast in the excellent rooftop restaurant called Manora in the Manor department store about 10 mins walk away); - our double room only had one bathrobe and one pair of slippers to share between two people; - the bathroom had one of those ridiculously short shower screen that meant it was almost impossible to have a shower without flooding the bathroom floor. We only spent a night at the Hotel Epsom as we were transiting through to Nancy, France from Venice, Italy. We arrived late in the evening and really didn't experience much of the hotel except for the room. The room was well appointed with all the comforts one would require. The complimentary bottle of water was a very welcomed and pleasant surprise […] as we hadn't seen this in some other hotels we have stayed at. The only issue with the room was that the toilet was blocked.
