Very nice hotel; good location; friendly staff; good food in the restaurant; everything worked; room was comfortable. No complaints at all. Very good value. Highly recommend the hotel. Have stayed there several times before and will stay there again.

The room I had was a King Mini Suite which was like a Embassy Suites room. Nice and very comfortable. The food was truly fabulous and was so good I ate there the entire 2 day stay. Everyone was polite and helpful when needed. I would recommend this for business or liesure.

Hotel is getting a bit old. But things were well kept and clean. Good value for price. Picture of deluxe king room we saw on line was not what we got. We got a regular room with a king bed. In fact the double room we saw as larger than our room was. Staff was great.

It was a very nice to place to spend our honeymoon. The staff was very helpful with our late arrival. the only problem, one day housekeeping left dirty towels, but over-all it was very nice.

Our family of 4 stayed in a Junior Suite at the Frontenac Hilton, and had a very comfortable 5 day stay! Our room was large, with a mini fridge & bar sink, and an atrium outside of our room for gathering with other family members.

very outdated bathrooms and furnishings. Food okay for breakfast and salads, but restaurant was very understaffed. I am glad I did not pay more for this room. Location suited the venues we needed for a wedding in church at SLU. Having free shuttle service to/from airport was a bonus!

Room not suitable for 3 Adults and a 13 year old. Pull out couch option not comfortable. Had to call for linen twice. Front desk not accomadating. Restaurant food mediocre at best. Not handicap friendly at all in Clayton Buliding.

The hotel room was very spacious and quite luxurious. My only complaint is that there were large mechanicals right outside our window, on the 2nd floor. The view was bad, but that didn't matter. What did matter was that there was a loud sound about every 2 minutes, all night long. On a positive note, there is a lovely mall across the street, and a St. […] Louis Bread Company (a.k.a. Some hotels that I have stayed at recently have complimentary breakfast. So when I checked in I asked if they had a complimentary breakfast. I was told yes and where the restaurant was located. Well, they don't have complimentary breakfast which I found out after they presented the bill. My newly married bride and I stayed here for our first night as a happily married couple. The hotel room was great! Extremely roomy and comfortable. Only thing I did not rate a 5 was the surrounding area because we did not go anywhere. I would definitely stay there again!

Louis XIV is out of style most places, but if you like the Chateau thing this will be great. Architecturally, this hotel is done up nicely in antique French frou-frou. King bed had HUGE pillows on it...and they couldn't get us useable ones the night of arrival but did the next day. Bench over sink top was too small for all our toiletries. Toilet was jammed right next to tub, so it's down the hall and out under the bushes when the wife is taking her toilette. It was a little strange being in a different building from the main desk, but it was fine I was next to the fitness center. My room like many others in this building faced a reception area, which had parties from 5-7 it seemed everynight. I could not get my wireless to hook up to the $9.00 a day interenet and the IT man came to my room to help me. He did not let the door close all the way, leaving it opened a bit. THis was very respectful and comforting to me being a solo female in the room. He was very kind and spoke very highly of his boss and the hotel manager. I liked being centrally located. Resturaunts at Frontenec Plaza were very good. Staff was courteous and helpful. The villa size room was nice with comforable chairs for sitting.

comfortable beds, nice big pool, would run out of towels but staff would bring abunch out and pick up used towels and any trash left my guest. Helpful front desk clerk.

It started with a trek through musty labyrinth-like hallways to find our room. There we found a piece of used dental floss on the floor near the bed, not even in the bathroom area. Despite that, the rest of the room was clean and what one would expect from a hotel. Which wouldn't have been as much of a problem if we would have been able to turn on the t.v. to provide a little white noise, but alas, the television didn't work. Most frustrating was when these difficulties were calmly stated upon check-out, the front desk clerk was argumentative and unapologetic. A meagre offer of a breakfast coupon was all that was made after I already stated that I was running late for my scheduled morning activities. Wife and i stayed for two nites. Great location near shopping and attractions. Nice riom and quality amenities. The pool was nice and the building in great condition. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location near a high end shopping mall, Starbucks, and restaurants. The king size suites are very spacious for a family of five. Although the hotel has an antique decor, the roo s were clean and the fitness center and pool were a real win. I recently stayed for a business trip which included a conference at Washington University. This hotel was incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. I had a long couple of days, so the quiet was welcomed at the end of the day! My only complaint is with the food and drink available at the hotel. While there is nothing you […] cannot get, it is VERY expensive. There are also a limited number of restaurants in the immediate area and they are nicer establishments. For me, I didn't want to go to a nice place and sit alone, so I ate at the hotel. I stayed at the Hilton Frontenac overnight during a quick in-and-out visit to St. Louis. I didn't take advantage of any of the hotel facilities or have much interaction with the hotel staff. The hotel was a very nice place to stay. The only issue was that one of the windows in our room was slightly open and could not be shut. Other than that it was one of the best places that we have ever stayed.
