Sleep Inn Medical Center NW - San Antonio

Got this hotel for a really great price. Older hotel, but still kept up well. This was part of a nicer hotel chain at one time (not sure who). Would stay here again.

Overall, hotel was adequate for a short stay. The sheets for the bed were not the best. Bathroom sliding door was broken and was difficult to close for privacy. We put up with it because it was a short stay, but my wife was surprised that the cleaning lady did not report it to management. Front desk staff was nice.

Parking was convenient and nice until I notice people camping out on the parking lot of the near by building the two days we were there. The front desk gentleman was very courteous and helpful. Everything was good until we walked into our room and the first thing my kids say "Eeew what is that smell" the room smelled so bad we couldn't' stand it so […] I go downstairs to let them know about it and the cleaning lady I assumed, looks at me as if I was lying and decides to check it for herself. I go up with her and tell her that smell is not normal, so we go back down stairs and they start speaking another language between three of the staff members then I get a key to another room that was not as bad. was not nearly as I expected after staying at other sleep inns that were all exceptional. The A/C never got the room cool and housekeeping had neglected to change the tissues, which looked as if they had already been used and stuffed back into the dispenser! .

Although it was a little hard to find at night on the access road off Interstate 10 (the large Car Max lot right beside it tends to swallow everything up), it was very much worth finding and the stay. Only paid $55 for 1 night, single queen bed room. For the price it was great. Staff was very friendly, check in and out was a breeze, pool was clean and taken care of, and the rooms were very clean. Only thing I recommend is you bring your own pillows...very uncomfortable. Can't beat it for the price

The staff at the Sleep Inn were all very friendly. The rooms themselves could use some TLC - small things such a touch up painting where there are black scuff marks, clean of the air vent on the HVAC unit, scrubbing of the carpet and taking care of the caulk remnants in the bathroom. It was Fiesta in San Antonio, so there were very few options to pick from for this stay. I read very mixed reviews but I really didn't have much of a choice, so I decided to book. From the yellow, dingy towels in the bathroom to the cheap, lumpy pillows to the stains on the carpet, every single things about this hotel gives you the sense that the owners are pinching pennies at your expense. The room itself had two double (full) beds that were advertised as queen sized but definitely were not. The walls were very thin so we heard lots of kids early in the morning. the room was super clean, the staff very nice too! the location is great, we went to seaworld but also wanted to go visit the river walk, so it worked out great. I will be staying at this hotel next time.

Quiet and clean room. Temperature control worked very well, heated the room to my liking quickly. Basic cable with HBO however it did not have the ability to order movies (wanted to rent a movie with my son) Comfy overnight stay for a bargain price. Breakfast was average. Overall great deal and Plan to stay again when needed.

Staff is fantastic! The front desk managers were very helpful. I had a concern about the first room and was changed quickly. I felt safe on the property. I appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave in my room but the room was a little wonky, bath area was small and had a pocket door, lighting was poor. Electric were not in the best areas for using […] my laptop, and I had to unplug the light on the desk to plug in the coffee maker. I felt that there had been a few short cuts to cleaning, the shower was OK, had mildew in crevices and corners, carpet could use hot water extraction, massage shower head was stuck on one setting,. The room was clean, it was small, but that wasn't an issue for us. It was less than 2 miles from the event we were in town for so it was perfect! Clean rooms, bed was ok. Showerhead sucked but water was hot. Heater was barely warming up the room. Not bad for the price.

Pleasant stay. Hotel was located off expressway and close to the venue. Price was very reasonable and room accommodations were satisfactory.

Room was clean, spacious and nice, receptionist was very professional and sweet- only issue I had was with the ice machine. It worked poorly and there was only one. Besides that I had a great stay and will definitely use again!

I had booked a queen no smoking room. When we checked in at 6 pm we were given a room with 2 full(double) beds and told that was all they had left. Towels were very rough and scratchy.
