We stayed one night as we were on our 3 day driving trek to Calgary from Ontario. The room was ready, clean and easily accessible to hotel amenities including pool and breakfast room. The hotel was good, although it is showing its age - some wall paper peeling, rusty metal on the toilet paper dispenser, etc. Staff very friendly, room clean

We enjoyed our stay. The pool hours were very convenient for evening access. The breakfast room was fabulous. Good food and plenty of it. The staff was always friendly and helpful. When we had a small problem, we called the front desk ,and it was resolved within minutes to the best of their ability. We will come back again.

Stayed here April 2012. Applebys right next door is nice. $12 cab from airport. This is an older atrium style - holiday inn style with pool in the middle. Dated, but functional. Get up early if you want hot water. Nice free breakfast.

Great room, appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. Did have a dripping bathtub faucet, but room was clean and attractive.

Staff were pleasant at front desk and breakfast area. Nice selection for breakfast in a clean and roomy location. Hallways are narrow and confusing to navigate, at first. Furnishings and decor seem like early 1990's and could be modernized to warrant the room prices charged. Best aspect is hotel's proximity to shopping and restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in awhile. Everything was well done from the room to the pool to the breakfast.

clean and close to the mall,numerous restaurants would stay here again, loved the hot tub and continental breakfast. Able to park trailer easily as had been shopping for cabinets and such.

The non-smoking room I stayed in had 4 cigarette burn holes in the carpet, 3 dark stains in the carpet. The wall paper in one corner was torn off in a 3 ft by 2inch section. What can you expect in an oil town with few hotels.

The locks on the doors to the room didn't work. If I pulled the door shut, I could, with 1 finger push the door back open so none of my belongings were safe the entire time I was there. The shower never had warm water - not sure if their water heater is giving up the ghost of if there were just that many people taking a shower at 230 in the afternoon. […] Other than that, it is the closest hotel to the job location I had to be at and so was convenient for me and my employees. Hotel did not have hot water the first night of my stay and did not offer any discount on that night :(

The only issue I had was that I booked through hotels.com and they told me that I could pay cash at the hotel however when I got to the hotel they wanted a credit card. They did eventually accept cash.

Housekeepers did not clean our room. Garbage was thrown out and that was it. Beds were unmade, floors were not vaccumed. Makes me scared if the rooms were cleaned properly before we used the room. Never will i go stay at this hotel again.

Comfort Inn Minot has a friendly and efficient staff. The location is good with many restaurants nearby and shopping. If you stay there, request a room Away from the pool area as chemical smell is strong. We were able to keep our window open because our stay was in August but in the fall, winter and spring that would not be possible. The hotel was OK. It was hard to complete this survey truthfully as Minot was in a "state of emergency" due to flooding. We could not drink the water & only take short showers & limit the times we flushed the toilet, etc. because the city was trying to conserve water. (And they needed to boil water for drinking.) They only supplied each room with 2 […] little bottles of water for drinking & brushing teeth, etc. Continental breakfast was really good. The hotel room was priced a little high in my opinion. Great breakfast, as I had expected from reading other reviews! Also, it's complimentary, contrary to how it is posted on this website. The room (221) was a bit noisy as it overlooked the pool full of howling and cavorting children. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

When we first walked through the door into the lobby and saw a line up of 6 or 7 people I thought boy is this is going to take some time. But much to my surprise the very efficient and capable staff had us all processed in record time. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the the breakfast and pool area's were both very nice. Room was ok but the hotel was VERY noisy. The rooms were clean but had window units for ac.

Pool side rooms have wall mounted air conditioners that discharge hot air into the lobby and were very noisy as well. We were directly across from one of those rooms and found the noise bothersome during the night.

My daughter and I stayed in the Comfort Inn the weekend of April 30, 2011 and I was worried about what I would find when I got there. The recent reviews were not good, but I have to say, the rooms were recently updated, the location excellent and the breakfast very good. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel was fine. It is in a decent area of town right off the main hwy which made it easy to get too. The room was semi clean but I did notice that the bathroom had some longer hair in it still wheni checked in on the counter and toliet seat. It was a bit pricey also. Pool a bit cool....... On line it indicates no cont breakfast , you may want to fix that....A GREAT breakfast by the way.

I was very happy with my stay at the comfort inn, very affordable and the breakfast was great. I plan on staying there again.

This hotel is showing its age. Compared to similarly priced hotels in the area, it has not been updated.

The breakfast was incredible. Always lots of food and replenished quickely. The pool area well maintained and appealing. The rooms spacious and comfy. Great place to lay your head after a long day of shopping

The room was big and clean. The pool area very nice and the breakfast was great! They were changing the carpet in the hallway so that was an inconvenience but it was badly needing to be updated.

Kids screaming and yelling up and down the hallways all night until 11 pm. You could literally hear everything above you, beside you and out in the hotel, like walls and ceiling were made of paper.
