It is too old to be considered staying again

disappointing due to the cost. We stayed in several hotels in the MD area over the week, mostly the same rate, and this was the one in need of the most TLC. The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was decent.

I totally didn't like the feel of the place during check-in. Had to stand outside in a cold hallway and talk to the night attendant to get my room key etc. The lobby was closed and it is clearly a bad neighborhood, which explains the tight security measures. Still, I would prefer to stay somewhere where such measures are not necessary. The room itself […] and other hotel amenities (internet in room, hot breakfast) were of the same high standards I get at other Comfort Inns. Nothing fancy by any means, but rooms are cheap and clean and fellow who checked me in seemed friendly.

Everything was fine until I found the door we walked in and out of from lobby to room was locked at 5:45AM. Walked out another exit and found myself locked out of the hotel as the front door was locked also. Was in light clothes with outside temp 37 degrees. Locked door was a fire hazard as most people in a panic attempt to exit by the door they came […] in. Many people die this way. Đọc thêm

The hotel had no elevator so I had to lug suitcases up a flight of stairs. They had a nice breakfast buffet though. the automatic phone wake up system was screwed up and woke me up two hours early. Shampoo some nasty carpeting once in a while. It would not kill you.

I just needed a good night's sleep and to be local to an event I was attending the next day, so it served my purpose there. However, if part of my visit was to enjoy the hotel I would have had to check out. The comforters were stained, the closet shelf was chipped, the phone keys were punched out and the water was cold. I asked for non-smoking but got […] smoking and the gentleman at the desk apologized and promptly changed out room with a smile. Upon checkout the young lady asked about our stay and when I mentioned the cold water she apologized, told us to ask for another room or maintenance (which i would have but i just needed to sleep) and she also gave me a 10% off discount should i decide to stay again. I thought that was nice. Customer service is excellent here. Just not very pleased with the accomodations. I was only 2 stars so I didn't expect much. Đọc thêm

Hot water was iffy. Toilet seat didn't fit toilet so the lid wouldn't stay up. Stains on bedspread. Close to Ellicott City where we were visiting relatives.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for four nights. The front desk clerks were usually very helpful and courteous, however the room is definitely showing some wear-and-tear. Housekeeping was excellent-- they waited until we left before they even attempted to come through (stayed at one other location during the trip who actually had housekeeping come by at […] 7 a.m.!!) The breakfast area's surprisingly well-stocked, with Belgium Waffle maker. Workout area is small, but in great shape. Word of warning: only one taxi services that area, and their dispatch team is -very- rude. Hotel is close to Frederick Road, which has a lot of fun local dining/shopping options. Not as close to Little Italy as we'd expected, but that's still a short drive away as well. One of our party members saw management leaving the room mid-afternoon, and observed that a suitcase had been shuffled around, but never brought the issue up with management. Nothing was missing, so I guess that's a good sign at least... In general, for lower-priced hotels, this one is the top of its bracket. Mostly clean, no bed bugs, and kind staff. Will probably stay there again next time I'm in the area, unless I decide to go for a pricier option. Đọc thêm

Check-in and Check-out were fast and convenient. Free breakfast was good and sufficient with kind service.

However a little spendy for what you get. In comparison.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Contential breakfast was very very good. Only a minor problem with the air conditioner in one of the rooms. they move us to another room.

Positives: The bed was comfortable and a very good "hot" free continental breakfast. Negatives: Sheets had stains and no alarm clock in room. Overall, good value for the price.

Free hot breakfast, free internet, free parking. that makes it all worth it. you're right by a pharmacy, across the street from some retail stores, and very close to a grocery store. in short, you're walking distance from a lot of what you'll need. downtown baltimore is less than 15 minutes away. for such an inexpensive rate, you can't get much better! […] rooms were clean (shower smelled), and beds were quite comfy. Easily located just off the Beltway -- convenient access. It was actually cleaner than I had expected. Mostly business folks and contractors in the parking lot. If that fits you this will do just fine.

Great hotel. Free breakfast, can't beat that. Great place if you're just looking for a place to sleep for one or two nights. Will stay here again on future trips to UMBC.

New Yrs night was busy time... but desk was very helpful in getting cab lined up for our party event.. For a hotel that's been there awhile it is in good shape...nothing to complain about.. food service in am was basic items but tasty.. Lady handling the food area was very helpful & went out of way to make sure we were taken care of.. thankx

SOOOO many better hotels for the money that this place. The hotel smelled like paint which I thought was a good thing until I got to the room. Not clean at all. The table was broken, big flies on the ice bucket and the shower did not work properly (like the plumbing was going to come out of the wall and it was stripped). Hotel was conveniently located to main highways & was easy to find. Accomadated to suit my needs. Free continental breakfast is always a good thing!

After reading the reviews I was kind of worried but the price couldn't be beat so my family and I gave it a shot. What a great stay!!! We were greeted by every member of the staff from managers to cleaners with a smile and a hello. The room was just what we needed. VERY clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and the A/C was cool(I'm hot natured). […] Breakfast was perfect for what we needed. I will not hesitate to tell family and friends in Baltimore to recommend this Comfort Inn. Carpet had visibly dirty on entering the room. A cockroach welcomed us once we arrived exhausted. I frankly could not wait to get out that morning bright and early. Otherwise some of the staff was accomadating. The breakfast buffet was good with a good variety of food to choose from.

Needs Improvement. The bathroom was in need of repair. The room was non-smoking, but smelled steal.

the a/c was terribly moldy

Exactly what I said. Great for a inexpensive to stay at the last minute. Something outside was funky!!!!!!! Right off I695. A lot going on in the area. Just a very busy.

Among the lowest priced in the area, this hotel provided us with a clean, friendly overnight stay.

If you are looking for a comfortable room at a good price, and easy to get to, then this is it. Staff was very friendly. Nice stripmall right across the street.

I am relocating to Baltimore and stayed at this hotel. It was convienient to major highways and shops. Reasonable distance from downtown without the major traffic. Breakfast was good and staff was accommodating. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Absolutely terrible! Had major hot water issues 2 out of the 3 nights that we were there. Nothing worse than not being able to take a hot shower after working all day.
