The staff was very professional & quickly fullfilled all requests. The room & grounds were cleaned daily. There were many choices for breakfast. However the beds gave us backaches.

It was a very good experience and will stay there again. I was somewhat apprehensive about the neighborhood, but there were no incidents. One thing that I dislike is when you stay two nights and they atoumatically deactivate your room key and you have to deal with the front desk on getting it activated again. We came out for a graduation at Grand Canyon University looking for an inexpensive hotel that could sleep 4 people in a room together. The price was reasonable but as previous reviews stated, the noise from the freeway was noticeable and the air conditioner was loud. The rooms are sufficient but the bathroom was tiny. I was somewhat satisfied with the hotel. When we drove there I felt the neighbourhood was a little run down. The location wasn't great, and it was hard to access. Our room had been smoked in and smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke which was disappointing but the staff sprayed it well. The pool had not been cleaned from the sand storm and the hot […] tub was ice cold. The hotel room was good enough to get some sleep and it offered a nice continental breakfast. Room was fine. It was a quick overnight on the road. Overpriced, but not much available in the area.

Housekeeping was horrible. I had to look for the maid for shampoo, lotion, towel, coffee, cups, and trash bags. Bathroom was not cleaned at all during my stay, and the sheets and pillow case was not changed.

Look the new look of the hotel. The room was very inviting in a classic way. Wish the heating/air was different, pretty loud. It would be nice to have a iPod docking station or music channels on the TV.

For the price you will be hard pressed too find a better deal. Be sure to get room in the back cuz the property is off the freeway, if that sound bothers you. The curtains really do block sun. Lots of breakfast items. I don't think you will be disappointed.

The room was not what was on there web site, Front desk clerk and GM were not helpful at all. Hung up on us while in out room they treated us like we were there for them and didn't care that we paid for a service. The staff was no help and us to leave. I will never stay there or recommend them to anyone at all.

the staff was very nice, but the hotel was in a bad neighborhood. the room was okay, but there was a towel left from the previous guest. the breakfast was awful and the hotel was somewhat dirty. wouldn't stay there next time.

Not in a very good neighborhood. Hotel is what you would expect for that low of a rate. We stayed there because it is very close to Grand Canyon University.

I had to switch rooms about 2 or 3 times,because of certain conditions of the rooms,but other then that, the stay was fairly ok.

The location is dreadful, it almost appears like a back alleyway. Very unappealing location. I've stayed at numerous Quality Inn's and by far this is the worst one and looks dated. Both bed comforters had holes, like cigar-ate burn stains. On the positive side the WI-Fi worked (and was free), and the AC was ice cold.

Hotel staff was very, very pleasant. Room was ok. Sink faucet almost impossible to turn on. Required Herculean strength (one of those old, round, handles that must be pulled out to turn on. In addition, the toilet rarely flushed all the way. Hard to believe they didn't know this before. Not the sorts of things that just pop up! Free breakfast was pretty […] sparse. No hard boiled eggs, no oatmeal, fruit very limited, in fact limited supply of most things, yogurt, cereal, etc. For the price, not a bad deal. Hotel was not close to a lot of attraction or a lot of shopping or restaurants. Troublesome if you don't have a car. The breakfast bar was good and the staff at the front desk was friendly and accomodating.

Location was safe and easy to get to, my daughters (ages 11 and 14) and I loved the contemporary look and the comfort!

The staff were nice and the room was decent too. The A/C worked pretty well. The one thing that I didn't like is that I could tell that my non-smoking room used to be a smoking room, but the smell of cigarettes wasn't horribly strong. It was hot outside, and just as hot inside the room. I stay in a lot of hotels all week long for work. And when its hot outside most hotel will turn on the AC for there guest. The good is they were working on the rooms adding light switches; the bas is there was drywall on my clothes and toothbrush. They didn't clean the bathrooms and the pool was green. I booked this motel since boyfriend and I are in town visiting some friends in Phoenix for 2 days. Motel in general, very ordinary. The customer service was decent. However, when we asked if we can get a room with a refrigerator, the clerk told me to contact hotel.com (where I booked the reservation) or pay additional $20 for the 2 nights stay. I refused […] since that was not reasonable at all. What am I going to say to hotel.com? Hey, we are in a room without refrigerator and it's 110 degrees outside because we wanted to chill our drinks? Non sense. Also, the wireless Internet has fair/poor signals. Oh, forgot to mention, it appears to be in a pretty bad neighborhood since there's like homeless/drug addict folks walking around in the parking lot checking out every cars that's in the lot? No one could help that our destination was in a sketchy part of city (I didn't realize it until we got there). I was more upset that when booking I didn't notice that it was on their UK page not US. Even though hotels.com advertised under a US college for hotels nearby, in the US AND booked in the US! So deceiving!! The hotel entrance is a bit tricky since its on a one way street, location, location, location. The neighborhood didn't look all that safe either. I was very upset that one of the guest in room 269 yelled out profanities towards my wife when she was walking alone down the hallway. This made the stay very uncomfortable for both of us. For the money, I suppose this was an okay option. I should have spent a few more dollars and stayed somewhere that I felt more comfortable. The freeway noise was a bit more than I anticipated, and the surrounding area was pretty unappealing.
