I was in Waltham for 5 days for business. The hotel is less than a mile away from Interstate 95, so it's pretty easy to get to Boston from there. Also close to the Burlington Mall and other attractions. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how GREAT their continental breakfast was! Usually, when hotels offer free breakfast, the best you can expect […] is some cold bagels and cereal. This Holiday Inn has hot eggs, bacon or sausage, hot cinnamon rolls, a pancake maker, coffee, and juice in addition to the regular cold offerings. The first room I was in was on the ground floor and was pretty small. My sister was coming into town to visit me while I was in the area, so I explained my situation to the young lady at the front desk. She upgraded me to a suite that had a king bed and a sofa bed. hotel in itself was nice. breakfast was great. room was nice, clean and quiet. Hotel clerk was a little rude and didn't help me in a timely manner.

This hotel does the basics well. I thought the breakfast was a little on the unhealthy side but not bad overall. Thankfully its Wifi was excellent, which is often my biggest concern.

Stayed here for 1 night while looking at colleges for my daughter. The staff members were very friendly and professional. I would definitately consider this hotel when stay in the area again.

There were two problems with my room #1 the computer chair was broken #2 there was a dog barking and making noise before 6am?Dont think I'll ever go back. the room walls must be very thin.

Decent location, although not terribly close to downtown. Clean, comfortable, affordable, quiet, complimentary breakfast. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel was surprisingly clean and comfortable for a 2-star; reasonably speed and free internet and a decent free breakfast were good. It is a little difficult to find from the highway, but you'll be fine if you use a GPS. No proximity to any decent late-night shopping (pharmacies and such) though; plan ahead accordingly.

Clean and comfortable. If you are visiting the Boston region, not just the city of Boston, this hotel is extremely convenient because it is just off I-95 and very close to I-90 and I-93.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel for overnight stay on our way to destination. Easy access from highway, surrounding area nice but not many stores or restaurants right there. Only 25 minutes from downtown Boston, and significantly less expensive than staying in Boston, especially considering free breakfast & free parking. Would definitely recommend.

I stay here quite often since it is near family in Watertown. I have always found my room to be immaculate and the bed sheets pristine. No comforter - just a blanket wrapped in sheets, which I find so hygienic. Breakfast is more than adequate and included with the price of the room. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The front desk is always very friendly and helpful and able to direct you to many restaurants in the nearby area. The hotel is located right next to the highway and is convenient to many of the towns surrounding the Boston area.

Excellent stay. Surprised by the quality of the "continental" breakfast. Only down side was the parking was a bit tight. Many Hotels in the area - I think people cheat.

The front desk people were wonderful. Upon arrival, a few hours too early, I asked when I could check into my room because I was exhausted from my drive. This was my second time at this hotel and it is a great value for the money. It was not far from Boston University where I was attending an athletic event throughout the weekend. The room and king sized bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and good sized. I enjoyed my stay and the front desk clerks and breakfast server were very helpful […] and polite. The breakfast was very satisfying for all. It included an array of cereals, pancakes, omlets and other baked goods. I did not find anything wrong with the hotel, breakfast or surrounding area. I have stayed at several holiday in express's and they vary a lot I think depending on the manager. Everything was prefect! Service was quick and professional! Only thing was I wish there was another blanket on the bed or an option to add one if it was placed on the end but over all it was a nice stay there and will rebook in the future!

The hotel and room itself were ok, but the service was awful. The phone in the room was broken and the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it as the engineer was off that day. The website indicated that the windows could be opened, but that was not the case as they were secured shut. The room was horribly hot and I could not open the […] window to cool it down. When I went to the front desk to inquire as to whether or not there was a way to open the window, the clerk responded that he wasn't sure, but he didn't think so.
