Room sized like a cheap Manhattan room. Bathroom door hit bed. TV door hit table. Cheap bedding and towels. Overpriced.

It was a nice place and the front desk people were very helpful. I would like to have had a closet instead of a bar over the refrigerator.

Our assigned room had no running cold water. Thus, the toilet would not flush, no drinking water, and etc. I called the front desk and no one answered the call. I was forced to get dressed and go down to the front desk to inform them of the situation. The man at the desk was helpful and immediately assigned us to another room. the girl did a good job cleaning the room, i didn't like that pool had no heating it was very cool at all time unfortunately will not rent a room from this hotel.....thank you

the travelodge is just ok. the biggest negative is that the rooms are dated and smell a bit of mold. the beds are small. also, breakfast is quite limited. on the plus side, the location is pretty good. the hotel is a relatively short walk (about a mile) to downtown and the beach is feasible but the first half a mile is not particularly pleasant, as […] you'd be walking along the main street which eventually goes through lake george village and is quite trafficked. the hotel is pet-friendly, which was the main reason for us to stay here (best reviews among pet-friendly hotels in the area). there's also a small pool, a kids area and space to bbq. overall, the hotel tailors to families on a budget. Stayed 2 nights, room was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool, will be better next year when it is heated so the adults will swim:) Staff was very helpful, friendly and available 24hours

located in a great area to all the things you want to see and do. nothing special but i'm guessing you knew that already by booking here. clean, cheap, and convenient. wasn't looking for anything but that, and it delivered just that.

It was my first experience in a 2 star hotel. With that said, the light above sink did not work. The iron was broken and so did the ironing board. I would not use this hotel again.

My stay was not a good one. Will not stay there again. Scenic view was good. Hotel was not located in the village from lake George. Staying at a hotel within the village gives you parking privileges which is more convenient. Hotel had no gym! Breakfast was not good. Nice place. At the hotel's offering, we got a free upgrade to a room with a small refrigerator, which was very helpful. On the TV, the HBO had only static for sound, but they may not have advertised as offering free HBO. The staff were nice, the place was nice. There is a pool and a few small things. Overall the place was good, considering that this is a tourist town. I would consider either staying in Lake George or at the outlets, as that is where all the action is for a vacation. Remember that this is a MOTEL so do not expect the equivalnet to a hotel. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was limited but this is a MOTEL.

old hotel; needs a lot of renovations. Cleanliness is just OK. This hotel is fine for a short stay. About 1 mile from Lake George Village; you need a car to go to the Village (or you can take the trolley).

the staff was very professional and accomodating.Since we were a group of seven withn 4 children we found the breakfast included in the stay an advantage. although the motel was old it was clean and well kept up. i would definitly return on our nextb trip.

This hotel is so past it's heyday it's not even funny. Dark wood paneling, tiny rooms, old bathrooms, etc. The pool area is old and the towels are tiny and flimsy. If you really, really, really need a reasonably priced hotel consider it but be prepared. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We were traveling with a dog and were very limited in hotel […] choices. $20 a night/ dog is a joke though as this was the lowest quality hotel we stayed in over two weeks and we never paid more than $15/ night elsewhere. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel this summer, the price is good. But as soon as enter the room, I went straight to open the window, because it was very smelly. After few hours, the smell finally went away, so I went to close the windows because I can not keep the windows open during the day as it was located at first floor. The next morning, I find the […] same smell again, so I kept the air conditioner running have some air circulation. But when I came back at night, the same smell. So I open the windows again and turn off the air condition suspecting the air conditioner was not helping. Maybe it was just the unit I stayed, but I were your, stay away this hotel. By the way, the wifi was not working in my room, I need to get out of the room to get some signal. Pros. Staff was nice. location is not too far from the beach and the center of city. The room was in serious need of updates. Needed painting, furniture outdated, TV was old style and the remote wouldn't turn on/off TV. Room smelled of mold.

This is an older Travelodge. It is ok for a night or two stay. The bed was comfortable, air conditioner didn't cool very well, the breakfast was carb city, no protein. room was clean and comfortable. Location was great right off highway and walking distance to everything.

We rented four rooms. We really enjoyed our self. The rooms were nice n clean. The pool area was great it was clean the water was clear and clean. The picnic area also great nice big grills also clean area. The free breakfast good. We already talking about booking travelodge again for next year great hotel.

The advertisement of this hotel is a joke!! We booked two rooms and when we received or keys and went to the room is when we figured out that our "room with a view" was actually two rooms looking eye level with the grass and basically in the basement. The stairs were run down, the outside of the hotel was a mess!! Horrible horrible experience

Good points : waffles for breakfast, location, outdoor pool (very cold but still), not expensive. Bad points : carpet very very dirty in the room walking bear foot will get your feet BLACK and I mean dirty black, cleaning of the room was very bad, my son dropped cereals on the floor and they were not cleaned with the vaccum.... would not go there a […] gain. THe pictures on the website are very misleading! It is very outdated and not very clean-for example we had to buy sheets we were too afraid to even lay on the bed. We actually read the reviews before we booked- I am so surprised that the ratings weren't worse. Plus, our toilet was broken and they moved us to an equally gross room. This hotel is located close to the village yet out of the fray. The room was very clean, the staff professional and polite! I would bring a mattress topper next time because I found the bed too firm and have the luxury of driving to this location.
