This hotel was dirty, unorganized and the cost of the rooms based on the amenities provided was far too expensive, $204.00 per night plus parking, for what was available and pool was dirty as well.We will not stay here again.

Price was great for downtown Toronto. Room in need of a little maintenance and refresh, but more than adequate.

Checkin was good easy and was early but had no problem. The place is under a complete gut job. Rooms are clean modern and comfortable. Hallways are dated. Some suites have a balcony and mine did. I love having the balcony made my stay enjoyable. Location is great and can't beat it. Value is high however the going rate of nightly stays in the DT area […] ate fairly the same. No restaurant but a table top with some good we're available for sale. It's noisy on the ground level but noise was no heard in the suites. I would definitely stay we're again. Đọc thêm

The hotel was under constructiton...we were not allowed to open our balcony door and the restaurants were being modified. The hotel was booked, so we were unable to get a late check out.

I stayed in this hotel in 2007 for my honeymoon. I was back in town and decided to stay at the same hotel. The service was great. Great location. You're right there on Yonge street (if you are interested in shopping). We did not like our room when we got there. The bathroom was not clean. The restaurant that was recommended by The Chelsea, Donnatella's was awful - the service, food was overrated - please do not refer your clients to this restaurant. The construction, poor elevator service, poor quality restaurant food - I wouldn't recommend this hotel and won't be staying there anytime in the future.

It's a decent hotel with a good location. Don't expect too much. A bit crowded and noisy. Elevator system sucks. It takes a long time to get on the elevators. Plan 10 mins in advance to avoid being late.

lobby was always full of people and access to front desk was a long line. The only time I called front desk for add'l towels they were nice, but never brought add'l towels.

Tiny filthy dirty room. They did change us to another room after we requested, but wanted to overcharge us so badly, it was very disappointing. Very hard to let people know how we felt at hotel, as they just got angry at us. Very impressed with hotel 3 years ago, thats why we went back. Will never enter the place agan!

I love the delta everywhere. This time the only drawback was the elevator strike in ontario. We had to wait for sevice elevator longer than usual. Just have to budget your time. Great overall.

While the hotel is under construction, that shouldn't affect the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. My room (which was a booked suite) smelled horribly of smoke (thought the hotel was non-smoking?) and the towels were dirty. One had a stain on it, others had hairs on them. I was exhausted and just collapsed in bed, turning up the air conditioner […] to block out the smell of smoke. It was unfortunate experience and hope it was a one off poor experience - I'm a big fan of the Delta Chelsea and stay there often when in town. The hotel lobby was being renovated and the elevator workers were on strike but even with the inconveniences the hotel staff went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable.

Lots of renovation going which made the foyer very busy and noisy, no doubt will be fantastic when complete. Fast efficient check in and check out

Staff very nice & helpful. Pretty small rooms, but nice & clean, very comfy beds. Condition & maintenance I rated a 3 because some elevators were out of service. I would stay there again.

That was fine except the ongoing construction in the hotel lobby was a bit noisy and made access to elevators difficult

Not the same as other Delta Hotels, great service as always but took a long time for everything else. Waited an average of 20 minutes for an elevator to rooms and again to the parking garage. Also restarant was not great and food was average, not worth $50 a person.

the check-in took far to long. i arrived after business meetings around 5pm and it took approximately 15 mins to checkin.. the lineup got bigger as I waited. no explanation given. its a great location but it was noisy.

As much as the room and hotel was clean and the area was great I wasn't happy because I was told I would have a fridge in the room and I would have access to a microwave oven. As it turned out there was no fridge in the room and access to a microwave was in fact me taking my food to the restaurant and asking the workers in the back kitchen to heat my […] food up for me. Apparently I was do do this every time I wanted to cook something and but only during restaurant open hours. They told me it was against fire code to have a microwave in the rooms. Ya, sure it was. I like the hotel, when we come into Toronto we stay at this hotel. The room are fine and the staff are general great. So I was disappointed with the man on the phone, at bostro 33 at 9.00 am we where to late for breakfast. Still on the phone, he just pointed to us to go to another restauant. We just check out of the hotel. This was rude! He is still […] on the phone, .We where clean and dress well. My husband an I was suprise at this service. the Delta Chelsea met all of my needs. I had a corner room on the 16th floor overlooking Dundas Square. The bed was clean, the towels were fresh, and room service was attentive. Wifi worked, cable worked, and the aircon worked. Bell svc. helped me with a cab back to the airport. no complaints.

Centrally located in Toronto. Small room in a large hotel, but a good choice for a quick stay over in the city or families with kids. Old rooms, sounds of city traffic and construction outside. Great, separate pools for kids and adults alike in a very large hotel.

The hotel itself was nice and clean to stay, great daily cleaning service, and conveniently located to my daily meetings. During the week of our stay only 2 of the 6 elevators for our floor were working which meant lots of people waiting in the hallway. We were not able to use the balcony of our room since the door was locked because the balcony needed […] repairs. In combination of not being able to open the windows, the room could not be aired. When we asked, we were told that the hotel was going through a renovation plan for all that but we could not see any work being done on any balcony. On 2 evenings it got very cold in our room. When we called on the first evening we were told that the heater had been switched on and it would take about an hour until we would notice that in our room. On the second evening we were told that the heater was off. We were offered a space heater, which we gladly accepted, but it took 90 minutes and another phone call to get the heater delivered to our room. The hotel staff was helpful but when we asked for a luggage trolley we were told that that service only came with a bellboy. The hotel restaurant was closed for repairs. Đọc thêm

The staff seemed very grumpy and unhappy. I did not want to approach them. The hotel itself was clean and up to standard.

Overall a great stay however the cable in our room didn't work. They offered us a new room or 2 free breakfasts. I took the free breakfast and was satified with the service. Great location and the staff are very friendly.
