they were great. they did all they could for us. we had stayed at another hotel chain the night before and we were disgusted by their service and mannors. and they wouldn't lift a finger. the were way more expensive. then we found this hotel online. i was kinda nervous bc it was cheaper. but boy im happy we stayed here. they let us check in early and […] even let us check out late at no additional charge. and the continental breakfast was great. a variety to choose from and it actually tasted well. thanks for a great stay!! ill def use this hotel again!! I requested a quiet room. I was assured it would not be a problem since there were only a handful of guests (4?) that night. So I was put in a room across from a noisy ice machine and directly across from one of the other guests.

Room was freezing. No heat was on Could not turn heat on. Finally after Calling desk twice we were told button was on wall behind coffee pot. Could not take shower. Too cold. Heat should be turned on for guests. Reservation was confirmed Staff knew we were to be in that room

This is an ok hotel. Not quite what you've come to expect from Hampton but considering you're in the mountains and just outside the skirts of no man's land it's one of the best choices you've got.

I was very pleased with our stay at the Hampton Inn Cherokee. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly. I would certainly stay there again. Part of the hotel was being remodeled at the time of our visit, but was not an inconvenience for us in any way.

Front desk staff the night we checked in seemed to take a don't care attitude. Rooms were equiped with double beds and not very comfortable. Definitely overpriced for the room and service. Breakfast was good.

When we arrived we were told we were in a specific room. I had pre-arranged to have flowers and a bottle of champagne in the room because it was my girlfriend's birthday. We went to the room, keyed in, and there were 4 other people in the room. Embarassed, we went back to the desk, and were told -- oh it says one room on one screen but another room […] on this screen, that's so weird. Then given the proper room key. When we got in the room, the champagne and flowers were there as ordered (which tells me that was the right room all along, so why were we sent to a room with other people?) but there was a spot of what appeared to be dried blood on the comforter of one of the beds. We went to Harrah's and came back around approximately 4am and had to stop at the desk to request some information. After about 5 minutes of waiting at the desk, some guy stumbles out of the back with foggy eyes and sleep lines on his forehead and gets us the information we need. We call back down to the desk 10 minutes later to request an additional pillow and the guy sounded like we just woke him up again. When we went to breakfast in the morning, we were served COLD and by cold I mean FROZEN in the middle biscuits, as well as cold sausage gravy. I will never stay in this location again, and I will ensure that everyone I know and many people that I don't know don't stay here either. Đọc thêm

The only issue I was not happy with was that the room had a musty mildew odor. A little fabreeze used in the room may help. Everything else was great. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet!

Housekeeping staff was helpful when I needed more towels. Registration was easy. Would have enjoyed having more variety of food for the breakfast meal and perhaps cookies for the youngsters in late afternoon. :)

Nice stay for one night. I was worried about being right across the hall from vending and ice maker, but was ok. The only thing that bothered me was that at 11:00 am on the dot, housekeeping was beating on the door w/ a reminder that checkout was at 11:00. I knew that! Unpleasant experience. Staff was young, inexperienced and did not give the usual high level of customer service we are accustomed to receiving at Hilton properties. We wanted to make sure we got the roll-away bed we requested so tried to check in at 2:00 when it should have been possible, but were turned away and told the room was not ready. When we […] returned to check in at supper time, had to wait in the lobby while someone put the roll-away bed in the room and so they could confirm the other special requests had been done (no down pillows due to allergies, extra towels). We paid extra due to 3 adults and 1 child, but were not given enough coffee for 3 adults--had to call the office and it took them 2 trips to bring enough for all of us. The breakfast buffet was sad--only Aspartame-filled yogurt, there was no fresh fruit available at all and they ran out of the egg omelet by 9:15 when breakfast goes from 6:00 - 10:00. In the morning we had the do not disturb sign on our door so we could get ready undisturbed and the cleaning lady still knocked on the door at 10:15 to see if they could get in to clean the room. Bathroom floor not clean behind door. Also, why are they baking and offering the Hampton Inn evening cookies right at 5:00 instead of during the evening as at the other Hampton Inns we have visited? This hotel is at the foot of the Smokey Mountains on the NC side. It has a large casino but is still a quaint town. We played minigolf in Cherokee and walked down the streets looking in shops. We ate in a Pizza Inn on a deck next to a creek. We really liked it. Gatlinburg on the other side of the Smokeys was bumper to bumper traffic and you had to pay […] to park to walk down the streets. If you're gonna do lots of tourist stuff in Gatlinburg, you'd need to stay there. Otherwise, I would recommend Cherokee. And this was a nice quiet hotel. Only problem here was that our room was next to the housekeeping closet and staff did not seem to be able to be quiet even at 2 am.

Everything was very nice. We will be using Hampton Inn Motels in the future. Service great, room very accomodating. Children loved the swimming pool. - Just hope next vacation, it doesn't rain every day. LOL! Excellent experience.

This Hampton Inn was comfortable and acceptable; only stayed one night. The Front Desk Staff was friendly and helpful with giving driving directions. The young man working the front desk on Saturday Morning was Outstanding. I accidently put my debit card in the same envelope with the room keys when I checked out. Hotel was nice. Breakfast area was under renovation so it was relocated to two adjoining hotel rooms. Variety of food was very limited. Only ate breakfast there once and went out for breakfast the other two days we were there. Otherwise very nice hotel.

The hotel was under renovation and the alleged breakfast buffet was set up in one of the rooms. Their idea of a breakfast buffet was dried cereal, frozen waffels, a few donuts, coffe, tea and juice. It was worse than a continental breakfast. A bit of false advertising on their part.

I thought the rooms were small, they only had full size beds. The breakfast area was also on the small size. It only sat about a dozen people and most of the tables were for two. We were very happy with our stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed being close to all conveniences but loved the tranquility of being out of the middle of hustle and bustle. We will stay again hopefully soon.

Had to walk around outside of bldg to reach desk/computer/pool at any hour. 24 Hr coffee/tea etc available only during daytime; quality of heatable bkfst items not very good. We stayed one night. Reasonable rates, easy drive to casino, feels like you are way far away from everything, and yet, it's not really. Hard to find the first time, but it's a nice hotel. Currently undergoing some upgrades (like adding an elevator, redoing their dining area) and when those are done, it will be perfect!
