Great hotel for the price. My girlfriend and I were in Detroit for the Orion Music festival and wanted somewhere affordable, clean, convenient and with a good surrounding neighborhood. I was not happy when I asked about parking, I was told that the hotel was the was as everyone around. It was 50% higher, I could have parked at the airport cheaper.

I booked this last minute and went for the best deal close by. Baymont was new, clean, comfortable and the employees were courteous. With the great price plus the comfort, I'd highly recommend staying here.

We were very satisfied staff were friendly and helpful. The pop machine I didn't realise would not accept US Dollar coins nor did they fall into coin return. I went front desk and was refunded my $2.00 immediatley. Breaakfast was very good, fresh and ample. We would stay there again on a return flight at midnight. Overall a very nice hotel.

Good hotel for a one night stay. The molding was cracked/coming apart in the bathroom but more cosmetic than anything. The front desk wasn't super friendly but not mean either. She did give me a third floor room when I asked for it.

Every vending machine was out of order! Ask hotel clerk abour any b eerage or bottle water available. Response was nothing available on site but that the ice machines were working! Also no TV guide on TV. Everything was Unavailable. We have stayed at this Baymont a few times and the quality and service has been goings downhill alot in the past three […] years. We got checked in quickly and room was very clean and well kept. We had a restful night on a comfy bed and the breakfast the next morning was standard fare but fresh and good. Best part was the hotel is located a very short little walk around the corner from the Park and Go so we could drop our car there the night before. Older hotel, needs updating. Clean but not sparkling clean. Close to Metro airport. No amenities, you get what you pay for.

Good price...good location, clean and comfortable. All we needed and wanted for our pre flight stay. Only one little complaint was that the room phones didn't work and we had to leave before the continental breakfast was put out.

I was greatly mislead by HOTEL.com booking agent. I asked for a handicapped room and was assured that there was a room available. And upon check in I was told that this Hotel didnt have such rooms. And my reservation was booked on the second floor with a handicapped Mother and a Toddler it was a big inconvience. The room was very clean and its location and the shuttle service was very nice. There is no room service or restuarante at the hotel you have go to fourpoint hotel and their computor and internet was always down could not check emails or pdf files. After a day of traveling all we wanted to do was hang out in our room and watch the football games - The signal on the TV was terrible and kept freezing up. We tried everything but could not get it to work. The cords going from the TV to the connection must have been bad. The TV was a flat screen so it's not like it was old. The rooms appeared nice enough until we went in the bathroom and there was mold on the ceiling. Also when we were checking to make sure we had all of our belongings, we found toys and gloves that did not belong to us.

The Staff at the Baymont were really wonderful. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is OK, but could use a little updating and maintenance. We were comfortable and the room was very clean. Considering the price, we felt this was a very good value for the money.

I did an internet search of hotels near the Detroit airport. Our flight was at 8:45 a,m, and living a few hour north we opted to come down the night before to avoid possible bad weather or traffic. Once we chose a hotel I called the hotel directly to discuss parking while we are out of state. I was told there was a $20 fee to keep our car right at the […] hotel for the 3 days we were gone and we would be shuttled over. We would have to pay this fee once we checked in. Before I booked, I called back again to verify the info with someone else and was told the same. However, once we arrived at the hotel we were told just the opposite. We decided on Baymont for the parking convenience which was more of an inconvenience. It was too late to cancel and look for other options. Stayed twice over the holidays to pick up and drop off family. Clean, reasonable price. Breakfast starts early which is a plus. Restaurant in hotel next door where rooms are twice the price of Baymont. Would stay again.

My flight got cancelled and I had to rebook, forcing me to spend an extra night in Detroit. Hoped on the first shuttle from the airport and landed at Baymont. It met my needs for an overnight stay and the staff was incredibly helpful. The attendant printed my new boarding pass and provided delivery menus as I no longer had a rental car.

The staff was very helpful. They let me check into my room early in the morning and leave my luggage as I had to catch a bus to Lansing for the day. When I got back, I simply unlocked my door and went to bed. The next morning, it was great to not have the taxi hassle as I hopped on the free shuttle that goes by every 30 minutes and was at the airport […] in no time. I had just recommended this hotel to the business owner i was working for this week...only to have all the small things overlooked on this visit---bed was made but room not really cleaned--out of syrup no waffles today--you got any cups (none left in room) "they're might be some in the cabinets if you want to look-obviously not something I would keep […] back here sir". Now I smoke so I get it. But she could have at least stopped on the way to her smoke break to help me find them. Like I said the "little things are the difference. I was staying before leaving for a long flight. The hotel is located near the airport and provides a shuttle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel is a very good choice and very reasonably priced. I am a single woman and felt very safe. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were only there for an overnight destination stay, but it could not have worked out any better. Price was way right!! Room was very clean, fan worked on the heating/ac component and the hotel was super close to the car rental return. Will def stay there on my next pass through D-town!

The staff was friendly. The room was quiet and can be kept dark for sleeping during daylight hours. The bed was clean and very comfortable to sleep in. We saw where there could have been a breakfast bar, but there was no food there. The pricing for a one night stay was pretty decent compared to the surrounding hotels in the area. High ratings for convenience of hotel location and cleanliness. The service itself was only mediocre - my original booking requested a non-smoking room but they did not bother to check that and gave me a smoking room. I had to go down to request for a […] change. I also requested toothpaste from the front desk but they never brought it up to my hotel room. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, convenient location to stay for the night, this is okay. We were attending a conference at the Sherton Hotel within a comfortable distance and several restaurants were near by as well. The price of our room was excellant and the breakfast included even made it all the more ideal.
