The Westin Grand Vancouver - Vancouver

This hotel is in a very good location. It is within a reasonable walking distance from all the important locations in downtown. The hotel has only two elevators and it has many floors. It takes quite some time to get in the elevator especially in busy hours unless you are willing to take the stairs. The rooms are too small, definitely smaller than how […] they look in pictures. Everyone in our party thoguth the pictures of rooms were misleading. The queen size bed was too uncomfortable and that's just not because of the size. And finally, this hotel doesn't even have free wi-fi in the lobby. This is the only time in my life where I stayed at a hotel in this price range that doesn't offer free wi-fi in the lobby area. Floor to ceiling windows were great! Nice hidden Kitchen in a cupboard and the Hidden lounge/ restaurant was awesome!

The room was not as advertised. The kitchenette was a closet on a wall, not even a closet. The room was way too small. It was a three star hotel at best. But the star rating we gave will look better because of the questions asked. If you think this is a luxury hotel, not even close---

nice short stay but feel like room was the least desirable in the hotel in spite of high vacancy rate! have stayed many times but realize now quality of rooms varies a great deal! dumb elevators but lovely hotel & nice young staff. will stay again!

All i have to say , is what a wonderful , beautiful, place to stay. At the reigistering desk we were greeted with a pleasant young lady, very polite and friendly. I am always happy with my stay in Westin and this particular hotel was no different. Our suite was quite large and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I am looking forward to visiting this hotel again in the future!

I booked this hotel for a in-town getaway vacation. The hotel is located at a great location. We had fun strolling around downtown. There were a lot of food options just around the hotel itself already. The staff was very friendly and sweet. She gave us an upgrade to a view suite on the 26th floor. The hotel was ok. I would not stay in this particular hotel in Vancouver again. The room was clean and the ground floor concierge were great. A colleague had a very bad accident in the washroom due to the cleaning and when it was reported, the Manager on Duty did not convey and concern or care about the matter. This is our second stay in downtown Vancouver and this location was perfect. The immediate area was close to all sorts of food, shopping and transportation. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The corner suite was like an apartment which included a separate bedroom, large bathroom with tub and shower, living room and even a wet bar […] area (with plates and basic utensils). This is an exceptional hotel. I have only one comment. We consulted the concierge for tour information and she gave us a brochure and sent us on our way. We had to buy the tour tickets on the bus, which ended up being a mess. The bus driver didn't know how to run a credit card machine and we had to use most of our cash. The other riders all had tickets […] that they had purchased from their hotels. It's not a huge deal but we wished we had known or that she had offered that to us. Easily walk-able to everywhere from Yaletown to Davie Village to Gastown. Good concierge service. Large very nice suite. My only complaint is that in-room WiFi is extra. You can get it free in the lobby though.

Beautiful hotel, outstanding the service. The pool was fantastic pop up patio parties Thursday and Friday with a great atmosphere. The view was unbelievable for my friends having it been their first time staying in Vancouver. Awesome location on robson. Very close to major attractions. Fantastic staff. Parking is high but its all over in Vancouver. We chose roadside parking which was safe. Will definitely stay here if we go again

The location made my business travels easy to deal with and was also close enough to tour the city and learn what it has to offer. Nice spacious room..patio a bit small..air conditioning difficult to control leading to either too hot or too cold...lobby is classic style but seems a bit dated.. And small....very good location close to BC place and Robson shopping..but not as covenient to waterfront aor Stanley park as many other hotels..nice health spa

The hotel turned out to be much older than we expected from a typical Westin Hotel. Not worth the high-end hotel room rate until they go through a re-model.

This is a big city hotel with a small lobby and everything in it is unique. The staff exceeded expectations. Rooms were cozy, sophisticated and quiet. Though the location is perfect for dining and shopping, they had no water views. I would stay again.

The elevators take forever to reach your floor due to what I would say is bad programming since they are fast from floor to floor but once they arrive to a floor they take forever to open the doors.
