This is more like a motel. It provide all the basic that you need for a hotel. The breakfast is good but not enough seats.

the hotel was very good, but the breakfast was listed on the door was complimentary, but we had to pay for it, and the waffle maker was out of order for several days plus the weekend.

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and updated. The location is convenient to downtown, Stanley Park, and Capilano Bridge park. However, the parking is horrendous! The spaces are too small for cars and there aren't enough spaces. It backs up to a residential neighborhood, so you can park on the street safely, but then you'll be carrying your b […] ags. Really enjoyed our stay. We came up from Washington on our motorcycle and were able to park right outside our room which was wonderful. Room was very clean and neat. Having a mini-kitchen was terrific, and the gentleman at the front desk recommended several places to eat within walking distance. The pizza place across the street was fantastic and friendly, […] and Earl's on Marine Dr was perfect. We loved the location, easy to get to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and just a couple blocks from the Lion's Gate Bridge back across the water and into the city. The only 'complaint' would be that the beds aren't super comfortable and the pillows are a bit poofy so we both had stiff necks the next morning. That being said, we'll definitely stay here again. We found the hotel to have a friendly and helpful staff. The price was economical and the transit of the city is easily accessible from where we stayed. We would recommend others to stay especially for those on foot.

The North Vancouver Hotel did everything any hotel does, but that's it. There was no Wow factor to the location. The rooms were incredibly dull and the parking lot was very small. We were told earlier in the day check in was at 11 and when we returned at 1230 our room was not ready still. They did find us another room but still... Great location, few minutes away to the bus station and the shopping area is just few block down. Getting to Downtown Vancouver just take you minutes away by bus. Front office staff are always helpful with question on getting by. Room are always clean, thanks to, JoAnn, who clean up for us. It was an easy to find hotel, location was fine. I stayed in a king size non smoking room which had a stale lingering smoke smell when I walked in. And not to mention the next morning the shower did not drain properly :( not impressed

This was a good hotel to stay in for the SunRun weekend. It provided a great place that was quiet and comfortable, with easy access to the city for the event.

The Staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was basic and clean, the price was excellent, and the bed was so comfortable! I definitely recommend the North Vancouver.

Had some issues with communication on check in, but staff was quick to correct everything when asked. The cleaning staff was very polite and came when we asked and left us alone when we asked. The room was clean when we arrived and the grounds were well kept in general. The pool was locked and we couldn't even get in the area to sit in the sun. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the noise. It was between two busy roads and even though the windows were closed, it sounded as if they were open. Free WiFi was nice.

Good: price, nice beds, fridge and microwave in room, entire property is clean and well maintained, lots of (free) parking, staff were very helpful. You can easily walk to the Capilano Pacific Trail and up into Capilano Canyon. Quibbles: We booked the room for 3 adults and there were 2 towels in the bathroom, 2 coffee cups etc. Front desk cheerfully […] got us more, along with plates and glasses and forks, but that was a little weird. This hotel was great! Clean, cool, comfortable. The afternoon/evening front desk guy was great! Bath tub was small and parking lot squishy but really that is the only thing I can think of to complain about. The continental breakfast was perfect. Wifi was strong. The current rating of this hotel of 2/5 is purely unjustified. The room was very clean the staff was very efficient.The breakfast was great, fully loaded breakfast bar with hot selection. The Hotel was central to many shops and restaurants and if you want to green your stay they have bike rentals. Pleasantly surprised. The outside is a little rough, the outdoor pool was closed (it is February) and is on a busy street. But, for the price a great value. It was close to were we needed to be. The rooms had a microwave AND fridge AND coffee pot. Plenty of room. Usually do not get that these days. The FREE continental breakfast included self-made waffles, […] eggs, sausage and hash browns. Stayed there for a weekend and for the price, it's kept in top-notch condition and the customer service was great. The rooms were well lit, spacious, and quiet. For a no name hotel, I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the towels and sheets to the service. We had a Lab so we were given the room for pets. Before we arrived, we figured it would be smelly and an unpleasant room. To our amazement, it was very fresh and clean. We found the hotel to be conveniently located, reasonably priced, and staffed by pleasant, efficient employees. excellent hotel with amenities and overall good value. Friendly hosts and very clean. Only problem was the (free) breakfast, food service and lounge which was not up to standards.(the value measure includes the free breakfast which was not up to par)

Nice stay, clean room. Unhappy with extra charges for my kid to stay with us. Make sure you understand that the room is based on double occupancy Sadly the hot water was poor...ran the tub for half hour, still only lukewarm!

Not that bad of a motel - I've definitely been in worst ones. This is an old motel that needs more than simple remodeling. While the rooms were clean and the staff nice, the wing where our room was was no longer level ... I mean the floors (2nd floor) was leaning to the south.
