Underground parking rested pipes that were dripping on cars, stalls not wide enough for vehicles and the lighting was very dark. I asked if I could get a view of the water, so they gave me a great view, a balcony and put me in the quietest area of the building. When I needed to stay an extra night, they were very accommodating in getting my same room and best rate.

The night clerk gave us wrong directions to the hotel and the wrong exit. It would seem that they should know how to get to your location. It was nearly 11 p.m. when we arrived. We were tired. They then assigned us to a room on the ground floor where the drive to the hotel's main entrance was right outside the window. Why there is even a room there […] is beyond me as I'm sure the passing traffic would not be pleasant. I asked for a different room and was given a much nicer, third floor room that overlooked the courtyard and river on the backside. It was much more restful, inviting and quiet. Its kinda hard to find the entrance to. Its at basically the end of a longish dead end road with about 3 other hotels on it, at least one other of which is a marriot as well. We went in the other one initially, and they must be used to it as they happily pointed us on to our destination. Apparently they aren't linked in the computer either as our reservation […] was not listed in the other marriot's computer. Once you do arrive, its a nice place though. p.s. dont even think of going anywhere during rush hour while staying here. Was traveling from Idaho to Southern Oregon and needed a place to stay after a full day on the road. Found this Hotel Featured on-line with a really good price for one night. Since it was a Courtyard, thought it was too good of a deal to be true. Featured a pool and on-site restaurant and bar. We stopped in Vancouver to eat dinner across the river at […] one of our favorite spots. Hopped over the bridge and checked in at 9:00 PM. Very nice new facility in an upscale area of condos on the water front. However to our surprise – everything was shut down tight at 9:00 PM on a holiday weekend. Restaurant – closed. Bar – closed. Room Service Closed. It is really one of my pet annoyances when you pay to stay at a facility and they decide to not offer the advertised services. We had been traveling all day and just wanted to sit and relax for desert and enjoy the very nice surroundings but were not allowed because some manager wanted to save a few dollars at customers expense. Our only option was get back in the car and drive around the neighborhood till we found a gas station to get a carton of ice cream. The next morning, the cleaning and maid service were vacuuming at 8:00 AM and knocking on doors up and down the hall way. I think the manager is from the east coast because they are in a different time zone. Other than that, very nice grounds, new facility, very nice rooms with good view of the river and water front – Just get there early and plan on going to bed by 9:00 PM. Đọc thêm

This is a great place to stay. Clean room, quiet, we could hear some noise from tv in next room but very little. Room was clean and very comfortable. ok you are near potland expo center but it takes a lot of time to find your hotel and cross all the roads. You are located behind a lot of other buildingas that makes you hardd to find.Your walls are so thin that I coluld not sleep for two of the three nights because the TV was on so loud in the next room. All the front desk staff were very polite and very nice to talk to. They engaged pleasant conversation with the guest. Although the complimentary shuttle is primarily for airport transport servcices, not only that they accomodated us but they offerred by taking us to the train station. Awesome!!

Tough to find with out an up-to-date GPS of some sort. The front desk had no record of me paying extra for the 'stay for breakfast' option. Awkward Had I known of the limited offering, I would not have pre-paid extra for breakfast.

It was fine, just noisy between the rooms. We could walk to the TriMet to get a train into town, or the hotel offered to drive us to the train. Breakfast was not included since we booked through a third-party, but it was very good and very reasonably priced. Bathroom was stark.

It was the closest thing to where we needed to be but there were a few things we sacrificed...poor parking arrangements, poor restaurant service (every other table was dirty with crumbs and old dishes), bathrooms were lack luster and dated, beds were lumpy and uncomfortable.

For a family of 4 the rooms were rather on the small side so maybe we should have gone for a suite, the rooms also lacked a fridge which adain with small children would have been handy. However the hotel was in good order, good food, good wine and very convienent for the airport (rooms were very well sound proofed).

Everyone at the hotel was super nice, recommending restaurants, calling cabs for me, you name it. Matt, Sara and Bruce were very accommodating and made my stay pleasant. Not only were the beds the WORST I've ever attempted to sleep on but housekeeping totally forgot us and I had to ask for towels for the extra day. It was as if they took our credit card and then simply forgot us. On top of all that, my daughter and husband were burned by the chemicals in the jacuzzi the first night!! This hotel is the perfect option for mid-range rates while being perfectly located for staying at the heart of many of Portland's tourist hotspots. Almost every place we visited was roughly 15-20 minutes drive from the hotel. The breakfast each morning was great with many options for all my family. My kids loved the bacon and waffles. The beautiful setting on the Columbia river was a surprise. The hotel provided our mini-reunion with swimming, views from our room's balcony and a large comfortable room. Was impressed at the presence of a lounge and cafe in the hotel and the walking disance restaraunt choices were a bonus! We'll be back!

The room was very nice, great carpets, clean room...only problem was they have a first come first serve with the microwave and refrigerator in the room. I checked in at 7pm and there was no more rooms with these items.

My family of 4 stayed here for one night. The room was great, plenty of space and clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant. Very nice hotel. 5 minutes driving to downtown. Check in was very smooth. I was travelling with my non-English speaking parents and had reserved two rooms. i asked if they could put us close together. They put us next to eachother with a connecting door, which was great. Our room was pretty large for standard room with a nice view of the river. Building […] seems relatively new. Carpets etc. are all new. For the last couple of times I had problems with hotel room heater/ACs (noisy, gets too cold or too hot etc), this one was not noisy, worked just right. the only downside was lack of fridge in the room, but we didn't need it this time.
