The rooms clean....staff are very accomodating and helpful:) overall i would recommend this hotel, rating of 4 out of 5:)

The hotel is older and located near the airport, so makes it very noisy. The room was dated and the bed was very old and lumpy. The room size was fine, but the bathroom fixtures were old and the vent did not work. I would not stay at this hotel again. I would pay another 10.00 - 15.00 per night and upgrade for sure.

It gets the job done. Don't look for anything special. People are awesome and will do anything to help. The rooms need updating bad. The maids need glasses but it's probably as clean as most homes. The fact that it's a public hotel and not your home it seems to make a difference. I not saying don't stay there, I am saying don't be too fussy. The bowling […] alley down the street is the place to eat. The price is right and you will not leave hungry at all. The cost of living in San Jose is not cheap by any means.. Enjoy your stay..... The hotel is only 2 miles from the airport but no shuttle service available so it's an additional $15 plus tip just to get that short 2 miles. This is more of a motel then a hotel. i was put in a handicapped room that had no place to hang my clothes and breakfast was a banana and a bowl of raisin bran... I would not recommend this hotel

Room has been clean and the staff was friendly (though not super knowledgeable). Location is far away from anything interesting. It's a good place to stay for a night.... and only the night. Breakfast was a bit sub-standard.

Place was as a good value with decent WIFI included. Provided limited continental breakfast so don't expect waffles with your coffee and muffin.The service was great and friendly.

We stayed at the Days Inn San Jose Airport when we were in town for a wedding, and as my title would indicate, it was good enough. The staff was very friendly and professional, but you can't really call it anything but a "cheap motel"; there's wear and tear to be seen most places you look, and although the motel is REALLY freeway close and therefore […] convenient to most of San Jose (especially the airport and convention center), the neighborhood isn't too aesthetically pleasing. The hotel was clean, well maintained. Breakfast is continental. Bathroom was clean. I think it was great for its price. I would stay here again on my next trip to the Sillicon Valley.

I would definately stay here again. It was clean, staff was great and very friendly. The continential breakfast was very very limited. I suggested they have water availible and the girl told me I could buy it in the machine. The hotel itself was fine and the staff perfectly nice. The neighborhood is abysmal, though. We were staying over before an early flight and got in late. We spent half an hour looking for dinner (10:00 on a Monday) and the area is a desert. We returned our rental (the better to not have it stolen) and ended up doing dinner at the 7-Eleven. For the price it's a good option if you just need a place to stay near the San Jose Airport. The area is very industrial- not much in the way of restaurants or other attractions within walking distance to pass the time. Not a sense of safety in the nearby area as well. Overall it was good, room wasn't ready when I arrived clerk said unable to give another room... came back an hour and a half later and it still wasn't ready, finally gave a room that was ready, barely had enought time to cleaned up for my son's graduation.

1. The hotel says it is close to Convention Center. It is NOT close at all. They verbally told me 'We are only 2 miles away". They rounded 2.9 miles to 2 miles, and 2.9 miles are direct line connecting the hotel and the Convention Center on the map. To actually get there by streets you have to go on the freeway, it takes ~10 min, $17 cab fare. 2. They […] told me that the room they were going to give me is "unavailable", so i get to be put into the handicapped room with no closet space. Of course I came for the conference and needed to hang my dress clothes. They said the room is never guaranteed, and they would give the room as "best available", that they would try to make sure to give you the room specified by reservation, but it is never guaranteed, and I should have read the fine print. 3. They refused to cancel the reservation made through Expedia, even though they could not provide me with the proper room with the closet, and I had to take a cab every day to and from the Convention Center. 4. Thought it was a decent place; clean, nice kid working the front desk when I checked in, room was in good condition. Simple and basic. Not a ton of choices to eat within walking distance but plenty a short drive away. I was in town for a concert at HP Pavilion and discovered how easy it was to take light rail all the way there, and saved $20+ on parking. […] Hotel is two minute walk from rail station and I didn't even feel uncomfortable walking back alone late at night. The room was clean. Nice pillows, but needed to some better towels. Free wifi was nice. The breaksfast was a joke. Not what I would think of a breaksfast.

Room was larger than expected, especially the bathroom, no bad smells or obvious dirt, smelled like Febreeze. Bed comfortable enough. I tried the Japanese retaurant a few blocks away and thought it was very good. Now the bad - freeway noise was horrid - you could throw a rock and hit the overpass, tried to get another room, but they had no rooms available […] on other side. The ashtray for my floor was right outside my door, as well as the vending machine, so was kept up part of the first night with people smoking and talking - sounded like they were inside my room. I wore earplugs the remaining nights and that was better. Breakfast was slices of bread, english muffins, peanut butter, jelly, apples, bananas, a few pastries, coffee, juice - photos I had seen showed a waffle maker and hard boiled eggs, I thought, didn't have either this trip. Parking lot was very tight and - bonus - they had construction worked staying, so large trucks and trailers taking up what little space there was.
