I was looking for hotels in NJ near Manhattan that would be convenient. The location wasn't too bad, except it was blocked in by hwy 3 and the NJ Turnpike. There is no restaurant or food service in the hotel, and nothing in the vicinity in terms of food except the neighboring Sheridan. There was only 1 person on staff in the evening / nights and that […] person was never at the front desk. Calling the front desk from the room was not possible as nobody would answer. You had to walk to the front desk and use the courtesy phone to reach them. This hotel offers in room fridge, stove, toaster. It also came with Glasses, plates and cutlery. All of the above was filthy, as I don't think they're cleaned between guests. I had to ask for replacement cups as the ones provided were extremely filthy. The lady replaced them from cups within her suite, and even those were filthy. I asked for paper cups instead. Over all I was not pleased with this hotel, and the next time I'm in the area I'll find another to stay at. Would not recommend. Đọc thêm

The hotel cannot be accessed from the main road. I spent an hour circling back-and-forth in front of this hotel before I found the service road that runs behind it.

Friendly staff and reasonably nice accommodations but there was no hot water the first night. Good option when visiting Manhattan--with a free shuttle to the NJ Transit station that takes you right to Penn Station.

This room was great.. very clean and the front desk was great... Breakfast was very limited but a good resterant was close...we booked last minute but everything was ready when we got there.Great room for the price.. will stay there again with no problem

the hotel has no buissness center no computer or printer . the staff will not let you use theres, the carpet is old and the place smells a little like mold . also the room cleaning service only comes by after your 8th day of stay .that is not very sanitairy .it was not worth the daily fee at all .

Room was clean, spacious, had all the kitchen utensils needed to cook something quick. Staff were courteous and nice during checkin and checkout, they even asked if we needed toothbrushes and razors, which we did. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I basically just had to have a place to sleep and shower and this was fine. I really liked that they had a Pur water filter on the kitchen sink so I didn't have to drink straight tap water. The bed was comfortable enough. The only downside is that they didn't have many tv channels... bummer.

Pros: spacius room, full kitchen, plenty of parkings, convenient location if you have a car. Cons: very rude staffs, room was not cleaned when we arrived. I would recommend if you own car and if you don't mind being treaated like you have done something wrong... Buildings and furnitures are brand new btw

The hotel was very comfortable, clean. Decent service although they run out of things like coffee. BUT the hotel is not close to anything, no public transport. The hotel shuttle runs 6am-9.30am and 5-9pm - does not run on Sundays and holidays which is crazy. It's good if you are commuting as a business traveler. If you're a tourist, you are pretty much […] stuck with paying @22 for cab rides to the Secaucus train station which is JUST 3 MILES away. Cabs are a rip-off that's why this hotel often has cheap rates. If you have your own car this is a great deal - free parking, 10 minutes to train station, 10 more minutes by train to Manhattan. After getting there at 4pm (check in time is 3) hotel staff was very rude at telling us the room was not ready so they told us wait 10 minutes Other guests had the same problem And got the same nasty response after waiting 35 minutes we got our half cleaned room with a dirty shower and hair still on the sink Will not stay again any extended stay as […] this is a normal treatment from their staff Đọc thêm

The hotel itself is perfectly good, however if you want to do anything in the city be prepared to wait. The hotel shuttle runs to the local train station, but is very erratic. Seems to run at driver's will.

We requested a crib ror a developmentally delayed pre-schooler. This was a NECESSITY. We were told that one was being reserved. But when we arrived, the hotel staff said that the hotel does not have cribs. We would appreciate honesty in the future when making a reservation. The hotel was difficult to find driving from the Newark Airport because of the service road and having to back track from the main road. The elevator to the room was in need of some fixing. The room service food was okay, the driver who delivered it was very helpful. The breakfast in the morning consisted of coffee, oatmeal, granola bars and blueberry […] muffins. Overall it was an okay place to stay, it was great for the location since we needed to go to a giants game at metlife stadium and the shuttle only cost $5. The room was on the first floor, directly across from a laundry room. The staff were doing laundry and slamming doors in the hall very early in the morning. Our room key didnt work when we returned back to the room after 11pm and we had to call someone on the phone because no one was at the front desk. Good sized rooms. Clean enough and newly renovated. Staff were not super helpful with check in or when WiFi didn't work - but good value for money. Note that there are no public transit options - must get cab to get to public transit and was kinda sktexhy as hotel had driver to call not cab -$4 difference whenyou take a cab

The hotel and staff were great, great location. However, I may not stay at the hotel again. The beds were extremely hard, so hard that I did not get much sleep. These were the hardest beds I have slept in yet.

There was a pizza box left in the refrigerator when we arrived and after asking the front desk to remove it when we were leaving for several hours, it was still there when we got back. The room was also not ready at check in time and I was double charged by the hotel.

Very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The tv remote didnt work and they did everything to try and fix the problem. I would stay here again! I did hear a soaking door from time to time which did get annoying.

Hotel was fine but fire alarm went off for some reason in a maintenance room. It was clear that the staff knew about an issue prior to the evening I stayed. The alarm then went off 3 times for up to 30 minutes up until 11:30pm. I know they cant switch the alarm off but once it goes off it should be switched off much quicker. When it's too expensive to stay in NYC, I often stay in this area and drive in, or take public transportation. These Extended Stay America hotels (there is another one a mile or so away in Secaucus) are a great alternative. They are clean, have comfortable beds, and are reasonably close to things. Having a car helps.

We got lost twice trying to get back to the hotel. The GPS does not recognize the address. It wasn't until the next day that the desk clerk advised us to enter the address of a nearby hotel. Breakfast was pretty sparse (Quaker bars, muffins, fruit) and coffee was not even ready at the time we were told.

Nice location, close to NYC. Room was big and well decorated. My problem is the service; I asked for blankets and they told me they will bring them right away but they didn't. It was late at night and I waited for about 45 min and I ended up at the front desk to get it + shampoo+ soap, they only had a bottle of shampoo, it was open and half used. The hotel was fine to stay at. It was comfortable. But the hotel staff was a joke. Not helpful at all. Usually wasn't really anyone around to help. Asked for the front desk to call a taxi, never happened. There was a Springsteen show at the Meadowlands that we needed a shuttle or taxi to get to and could never get any help. Had to go to the Sheraton […] to get help. Back door was always open so there wasn't any security. There were really no amenities. There was not an ice machine in the whole hotel. It was nice to have a kitchen but can we get more than 2 of everything(plates, forks, glasses). The location was good for the concert but nothing around at all. Had to walk over to the Sheraton to get any food. Would never stay at an Extended Stay again. Also asked for early check-in and waited for 4 hours to get a room. The staff was very unprofessional. They gave the impression that they hated their jobs and did not want to be bothered. Useless when it can to asking simple questions. My opinion is to change the management and replace the workers with people who value their jobs and want to work. The ratings will go up.

Hotel room smelled of cigarette smoke. Asked for another room but instead they just sprayed the room with an air freshener!!! Bed is too soft. No cleaning services on the weekend so no fresh towels. Will definitely stay elsewhere next time.

I would never recommend that anyone stays here...ever. Carpets smell moldy. Beer bottles all over the grounds. Horrible place. Stay there only if you cannot sleep in your car.

If you want to come here for a sporting event, don't believe they are near the Sports Complex. Yes, you can see the complex but, you must cross the east and westbound lanes of the Interstate 3 Highway to get there!!!!!! There are black town cars that charge a fortune in so called "shuttles" back and forth. If you plan to take the NJ Transit to the Seacaucus […] Junction and then "catch a cab" to the hotel, it will cost you 23$ in a black town car minimum.
