When I made the reservation I was guaranteed 2 queens in each room. When we checked in manager said he didn't have any left just kings, and only one roll away. We had individuals sharing rooms that were not spouses so 1 king was not ok. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. Ended up switching hotels. Great deal for the price! My wife and I came here for a nice getaway weekend from our kids. The room was clean, comfortable, nice. The soap products are from Bath & Body works, and smell wonderful. The pool was warm, and the front desk was courteous and helpful. Hotel is convenient to a lot of the surrounding hot spots. The downside was that it was […] so close to the highway it was really difficult to pull out of the parking lot, onto the road because of all the traffic. The hotel's restaurant was overpriced, so we skipped it. If you want a decent bite to eat you'll have to hop in your car to get there. Very nice place to come "home" to after a long days work with animals at Fairgrounds.

Right off the highway, close to everything, staff exceptionally helpful, guest laundry on site, free shuttle to dinner, shopping, comedy club etc., comfortable clean rooms, great restaurant and entertainment in bar. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

The hotel staff was very pleasant. Rooms were in decent condition. Bed was a little lumpy. Very quiet location. Good for the price. Very close to the University, easy to get to the school and the local mall. VERY accessible.

OK hotel for overnight stay, conveniently located for park and stay option. Near Syracuse airport. Good restaurant across the street (but loud) Dunkin donut across the street as well if it is full at breakfast. ( very likely to hapen cause just a very small breakfast area) at least there is that option. Price a little steep for the style but you pay […] for the convenience of being close to the airport. We found the Maplewood Inn to be easily accessible from the interstate, clean and comfortable, had a friendly staff, and accomodated the needs of my husband who was having difficulty with mobility due to surgery. Excellent breakfast. We heartily recommend it.

There for a get away with my daughters and it was so relaxing, the pool was wonderful and having a massage salon in the hotel was very nice, they do magnificent work. Would stay here every time.

Comfortable rooms! located in good area with bars/rest available. Maplewood has lounge with live bands on weekends and restaurant! Drink prices a little high! Spa service located in hotel is excellent!

This hotel is a refurbished older hotel with a small (really small) indoor pool. The rooms were comfortable, however there was some peanut butter on the bed spread that should have been laundered. our room was spacious and very clean. The pool nice and warm and clean. Breakfast was fine-many choices to eat from. I would stay again. Good price.

Was a wonderful stay

This was a good clean hotel. The pool was a little small but it was clean. We loved the location.

I was not impressed with my stay at MapleWood Inn in Syracuse. The bedding was disgusting, the sheets were so warn out they had the little balls on them. The bed was uncomfortable, and very hard, saged when you sit on the side of the bed. The first night was terribly noisy, banging doors and yelling all night.

Nice place, but not having fridge or nuker in room is not normal for this type of place. Otherwise it's good value.

Wonderful staff! We travel with two children and our dog every year to Syracuse and enjoy our stay at the Maplewood Inn. The kids love the pool. The dog loves to be able to go away with us. The rooms are neat and the continental breakfast is plenty to get you started on your day.

ok so hear it goes....... looks great on pictures . when we 1st got there they gave us the wrong room called down and they fixed it.. pool is so small and nasty .. thinks sticking up from the ground to trip over and old rusted chairs and tables to sit at , the towels were filthy! fitness room had a weight bench a treadmill that did not work and an eliptical […] mechine that did not work! we tried to order room service and after 6 times trying to get through with no answer a man who dint speak english answed kitchen and did not understand a word i was saying! very outdated loud music blasting from so called resturant on site which is mearly a bar! do not stay here!!!!!!! This was the second time we stayed at the Maplewood and we were pleased with our stay. Our stay was between Christmas and New Years 2012 so we had the place to ourselves. I had a "run of the hotel" deal and the desk clerk put us in adjoining rooms which was nice. Breakfast included, but very meager. Room was large. We'll stay there again.

Had a great stay. Upon checking out , I was told that I had a bill of 10.00. This was because of breakfast and convenience of shuttle. I told them that I never used shuttle and that breakfast was included w/room.

We stayed here before an early AM departure from Hancock Airport. The lobby is very nice. The rooms are modest, but clean and orderly. The mattresses were a little cheap, but for one night it is fine. It took us about 3 minutes to drive to the airport at 5:30 AM.

We picked this hotel because it was located near the two interstate highways that we knew we would be traveling on. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness and comfort of the building and the room and by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. This hotel has excellent customer service! The room was clean other then a couple hairs in the bathtub but seriously what can be expected. Great location, just off I-81. Rooms are spacious and comfortable! Pool was nice, a little small but we were the only ones in it so it was perfect! Enjoyed our stay, would recommend and stay again!!!

Everything about it is good. I just had a bad bed I quess. Had tough night sleeping, bed was arched in some spots. i should have just gotten another room. Great service, bar/rest and surrounding area. Can't go wrong with it!

We were on an overnight shopping trip, so the hotel was in the perfect location to Carousel! The hotel lobby looked beautiful with the Christmas decorations & made us feel welcome.

Old tired, in drastic need of an upgrade. Still has tube TV's. Everything worked. Good water pressure in the shower, until somebody next door flushed. Also, very loud noise from next door shower and flushing. I was there during a hockey tournament. The hotel and crew were excellent. The co guests comprising of hokey teams and family were less than considerate. Suggestion, require more adult chaperones with the hokey booking. Also make a meeting room available for the young hokey members a place to socialize other that rooming the halls making noise.

This hotel is very easy to get to and very central. My college girlfriends get together at this hotel 2 times a year and it is always a nice stay.

IT was easy to access from the highway and close to all shopping.

This hotel is as cozy as you like it to be. The spa located in the hotel was a huge plus for me...They squeezed me in on their day off so that was very nice of them. I would stay there again cause it's right off the interstate.

I really did not expect much because people often say you get what you pay for and Maplewood Inn was one of the more reasonably priced hotels available for college family weekend. It was clean friendly and comfortable. Included in the price was a nice continental breakfast and a pool. Good price, large clean room and staff very friendly.

The fire alarm sounded at 2:30 in the morning on Sat 10/1/2011. Our hallway looked like it was full of smoke so we had to pack up our things and our 2 dogs and vacate for 1.5 hours until 4:00AM when the fire dept cleared us for re-entry. It turned out that what we thought was smoke was actually the dust from the fire extinquisher. We did not get any […] type of compensation or apology from the hotel for the false alarm.
