Absolutely amazing Hotel. Very friendly and genuinely caring staff. Would highly recommend this fabulous Hotel to anyone traveling to Barbados.

In spite of the fact that we could not contact American Airlines via phone and they did not deliver our bags for 2 days into our vacation,so we had to go to the airport ourselves to pick up our luggage, which had been sitting there all that time, and AA staff couldn't care less, This hotel is simply the best . Hospitality of the staff-was over and above,especially […] Charlene,going out of her way to make us comfortable, Ria, the conciege, so endearing, efficient and competent, and Mark,the greatest bartender, who made the best margaritas my husband had ever had.The cleanliness of our room, the overall upbeat ambiance.We could not have been happier with Tamarind Cove. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to stay on our recent/first trip to Barbados. We made a decision to stay on the West Coast and decided that a hotel would provide more recreation options than a villa. After lots of comparisons we booked the Tamarind as it was newly renovated and a mid-range price given the generally high costs on the […] island. We arrived with some concerns as we had read mixed reviews. We spent 10 days at the Tamarind and had a wonderful time. Very fast check in, lovely room with a view of the pool and ocean, friendly service and sunny smiles from all the staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable . Breakfast buffet was better than expected. The hotel location was great. Good long beach walks all the way to Sandy Lane and back and easily accessible to both Holetown and Bridgetown.. Our gracious concierge, Charlene, booked us in great restaurants and we found the local buses to be a great way to get around. Cheap, fun and good music! We rented a car for a couple of days which allowed us to see the whole island (thanks for all the tips Darnley!) and we were happy to return to our comfortable abode on the West Coast. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The full breakfast was convenient. The room and hotel grounds were well maintained. I would definately recommend this hotel to others.

The service level on arrival fell short although it improved over the stay. They were pretty full so we had to hang around for a couple of hours while they identified a room which was a pain after a long flight. However, when we eventually got one it was a better than the type we had booked which was a plus. The hotel dinner prices are steep but the […] inclusive breakfast is excellent. What a shame, a great location, great beach, great water but a tired property needing serious renovation and a new new staff. The rooms were old needing updating from the 70's-80's. Bathroom wall grout covered in black mold and the service was just terrible. Every day passageways would have dirty laundry and cleaning supplies left in them for hours, […] bar, restaurant and beach service was on permanent slow speed, and yes it was not just island speed as other locations we visited were much better. Hotel is positioned on the west side of the Island between Holetown and the Gap (Bridegetown)so you are close to both. Very nice beach front with a sand entry to the water. The hotel spread out nicely so you don't feel closed in. Good local entertainment at the hotel so you get a nice flavor of the island culture.

Hotel location is great and it has a very nice beach with free watersports. you pay extra for jet skiing. We went B&B the breakfast was the same everyday not much choice this was one of the downsides of the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel one night but it was very expensive for food that looked like left overs. the hotel restaurant on many occasions […] was empty. we did not go at peak season so the whole resort was very quiet at all times which was good. we had a deluxe beach front room which was definitely beach front. however the rooms do need some upgrading. overall the hotel service and for a week in barbados the hotel is good value for money. Wir benötigten glutenfreies Essen und es wurde alles für uns arrangiert. Sowohl Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen, es wurde stets auf die speziellen Diätwünsche eingegangen.

Nunca descansei tanto com tanta beleza ao redor. Ótimo atendimento e preocupação dos funcionários do hotel com sua satisfação. Ótima infra-estrutura, comida, serviço de praia, esportes náuticos completos. Ótimo para crianças, namorar, curtir. Barbados é um local maravilhoso onde as pessoas são muito atenciosas e educadas. Vou voltar ano que vem !!!

Вполне достойный отель, отличный value for money. Без излишней роскоши, но все очень прилично и качественно. Удачное расположение - примерно посередине "пляжного" западного берега Барбадоса, не очень далеко от Бриджтауна, аэропорта, основных интересных мест на острове. С размещением, качеством обслуживания, номером никаких проблем - хотели Ocean Front, […] получили самый настоящий Ocean Front, что надо. Персонал приветливый, хотя порой немного расслабленный (но не фатально). Пара небольших замечаний - во-первых, не очень удобная система с обязательным резервированием ресторана на ужин (типа если заранее не зарезервировали, можно в принципе без ужина остаться) - но это такая политика во всех ресторанах на Барбадосе, готовьтесь к тому, чтобы о резервировании столика для ужина (что у себя в отеле, что в других ресторанах) придется заботиться заранее. Издержки дорогого курорта, это вам не all inclusive:) Во-вторых, порой немного напрягало небольшое непостоянство персонала - бар у бассейна то открыт, то закрыт, матрацы для пляжных лежаков то выдают, то нет. Но это в общем мелочи все, отель готовы порекомендовать любому. При въезде авторизуют на банковской карточке по 100 барбадосских долларов (примерно 50 американских) в сутки, в пределах нормы. Мы отдыхали в августе, это как раз сезон дождей (это было сознательное решение с нашей стороны), временами шел дождик, но персонал был к этому готов и всегда оперативно все делал что надо. Из приятного - на отельном пляже несколько раз вылуплялись маленькие черепашата (зеленая морская черепаха, ко взрослым черепахам там туристов возят поплавать) и ползли к морю мимо лежащих на пляже гостей. Кладку черепашью обнаржить не удалось, они просто выползали откуда-то из песка. В общем, если будете в отеле в августе-сентябре, смотрите под ноги на пляже внимательнее:) Спасибо hotels.com за беспроблемный отдых. Đọc thêm
