This hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and though it was a bit off the beaten path for our visit to Wesleyan University, it was worth it to stay at such an affordable hotel that was all of the above mentioned... I was especially fond of the framed jigsaw puzzle artwork on the walls in the hall, and the fact that they are pet friendly seemed to appeal […] to many of those there as they had dogs, and I love dogs. Not near as good as previous stays here. We had to ask for coffee and tea for our room daily as housekeeping did not replenish these items. I usually tip houskeeping, but did not this time due to inferior service.

This hotel is VERY tired. No elevator. And it's not really fair to call what they offer breakfast. I won't stay there again, and hope to help other travelers mak another choice

This hotel is awful. Some of the staff was rude and unproffesional. The hotel is outdated and dirty, so is the furniture in the rooms. Worst part about this hotel is that they have bed bugs!!! When we arrived I pulled the bed sheets back like I always do and everything seemed alright. The next morning while we were getting ready to check out there was […] a bed bug crawling on the sheet!!! The Days Inn Hotel was in a very nice and centrally located area in Berlin, CT. My one night stay was good and I would recommend it to anyone needing an inexpensive and clean place to stay.

Older facility but maintained and managed well to accommodate the needs of the guests.Friendly staff.

carpet was old and smelled. Hotel would try to cover smell with carpet freshner but it didn't work. Front desk person was very polite. I didn't mind the dated furniture but the moldy smell can be dangerous to your health.

Older facility but maintained and managed well to accommodate the needs of the guests. Very late check-in (2:30 am) due to a late plane arrival but greeted warmly. Seemed to let us extend our check-out time, too. Friendly staff. Pleasant and roomy breakfast nook. Family activities in the area. A nice place to stay even for one night.

The hotel was alright for my purposes of just needing a place to crash for the night. Everything in the hotel seemed kind of outdated, dirty, and old. But one of the cheapest places in the area it was alright.

Arrived late at night to an uncleaned bathroom, very unclean.

Very nice hotel, very good value. Situated next door to a Meriden/Berlin restaurant tradition (Hawthorne Inn), though I thought the meal was mediocre and overpriced. Large, clean room suitable for a small family for a stay for a few days.

Hi WE stayed their the staff and room staff was friendly and very clean hotel.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, this is a good place to crash for the night. There is free wifi service if you need to get work done. There don't seem to be any restaurants or gas stations within a mile, but I was able to order in dinner without having to drive around looking for someplace. We got lost looking for the hotel and when we called to get directions, both people we spoke to were rude and completely unhelpful. One lady kept asking what my last name was and if I had a reservation. How does that help with directions? Then she asked how close we were to downtown. When we said we didn't know, she said, "Well, if you don't know where […] you are, how can I help you?" The bed was hard and uncomfortable. We also couldn't get extra towels after 5 pm. Good place for a one night stay. Rrom was good size and had a mini refrigerator. Bed was comfortable got a good night rest. Common areas need updating and new carpeting.

We have stayed several times at this hotel over the past few years and have always enjoyed our visit. The guy on the front desk during the day, Don, is friendly and accomodating, a real nice fellow. The night crew not so much. This is the first time that we have any complaints. The pool was closed the first 2 days, our keys would only open the door […] once or twice, The guy on the desk at night was borderline rude. I stayed at the hotel on an emergency basis when my husband's surgery at a nearby hospital went more than twice the estimated time. The lady at the reception desk was wonderfully kind and friendly when I arrived, frazzled and exhausted, in the middle of the night. She even offered me an apple when I inquired about getting food at such a late hour!

The only dissatisfaction I had with the hotel was the continental breakfast. When I got down to eat, there was no milk nor bananas. The waffle machine was not working. No one was at hand to address my concerns. Once someone was found, I felt he cared little about my concerns. This motel is clean and convenient for those staying in the Hartford area on a budget. Close to the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Room - Dated bedspread, carpet, desk and restroom. The room was clean, but it was hard to be comfortable with everything feeling old and worn. Parking - free, plenty of room. Bed was stiff and bathroom sink and vent were dirty

No problems at all, good breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately we got in too late for the pool, but it looked nice. For the price, which was excellent, I can't think of a better place to stay. I would recommend it.

Nothing but problem from the beginning to end. Stay clear unless you want trouble ... I did not find it worth the savings. Will book another hotel next time I am in town.

The hotel was nice it smelled when you walk in of my aunt's old house...musty... the rooms are nice but if you need or want more towels after swimming forget it... i had to wait for the morning to get more towels... to take a shower...

Our rate was under 65, which included breakfast and wifi. Good deal! Hotel was comfortable but could be cleaner.

The only way to get towels was to wait for a cancellation....smelled bad

We were very happy with our room. I was very clean and very quite too. Also they have very good coffee. If you drink coffee like I do. I was very happy with the service there

We booked here because they it was stated the hotel had a restaurant that served a full breakfast. NOT TRUE AT ALL! The hotel serves a very minimal continental breakfast of muffins, toast bagels apples & bananas. They have a waffle machine, but the whole time I was there, it was empty. Extremely weak coffee. Still had to go buy more elsewhere. I would […] not have booked here except for that full breakfast feature. They have ONLY the food items I stated. Also, it was claimed to be 20 minutes from the Connecticut beach in Madison, CT. More like 45 minutes, this is close to south Hartford. I believed their breakfast claim. Decor is dated, but we felt safe - the place was very clean - the front desk person was very helpful. The pool in the back yard was excellent, clean. The grounds were well kept. The included breakfast was more than coffee and "out the door". They accept small pets yet we did not experience any smells or issues in the hotel. Room was very big - 2 large beds, place to sit and eat a quick meal - plenty of lights in the room - plenty of parking - great breakfast (which they started early for us) Thanks so much! Very quiet at night! Plenty of hot water. I would stay here again - thanks

Overall the room was acceptable however, I noticed bathroom toilet had stains under the rim. Since it was only a one night stay, I did not notify desk. Good inexpensive hotel.
