"Close to but far enough to get away from the city."
We enjoyed the atmosphere. The kids,9 & 10 year olds, had fun, along with us two parents at the pool.Poolside decor and waterfall are beautiful. While $60 or $70 dollars a day more than a Sheraton or Marriot, very much worth it. Standard room was gigantic with two seemingly king size beds, dressing room, two bathroom sinks, full closet, nice desk, free internet, free NY Times. I took my 2 grown daughters and my 19 month old grand daughter and they were all blown away with this beautiful castle and the grounds were to die for. My granddaughter keep saying wow wow. The hotel is in a beautiful location. Our room was nice, but it needed a few repairs (broken sink had been repaired not replaced and had a large crack in it). The pool was nice, but we had to get out early because they had a private party their. We weren't told about the party until we got down to the pool, even though I called ahead to the front desk. This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! The staff was courteous and professional. We were worried we might be out of place there. Hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well equipped with a lovely pool, tennis court, and a fitness trail.
