Stood up to the expectations. The staff are very cooperative and helpful. Getting in and out of the hotel is inconvenient, but rest are good.

Been staying in this hotel many times, this time had a room with a fantastic view to the roofs of Helsinki on the 9th floor, would definitely recommend this hotel. Very good, although not very cheap. But it's worth it!

Great location. Restaurant and Irish pub on site. Close walking distance to a variety of other restaurants, stores and downtown area. Room was spacious for European standards, clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Torni. Hotel was completed in 1931, and has an interesting history. It was renewed in 2006, and is in very good condition with an art deco theme. Very spacious room, with excellent lighting, a good desk, and a great shower. Located on a quiet street one block above Mannerheimintie (main thoroughfare). It is less than a 5 […] minute walk to Stockmann's department store(probably the largest department store in Scandinavia) and the shopping of Pohjois Esplanade(the destination shopping area of downtown Helsinki). Also conveniently located to the Finnair airport bus terminus, the Rautatieasema(railway station) and the Linjautoasema(bus station). Breakfast(included) was great, with many choices including porridge(my favourite), as well as bacon, sausage and eggs as well as traditional Finnish treats like Karjalan piirrakkas. Coffee included brewed coffee as well as a sophisticated self-serve machine to make espresso, cappuccino or latte drinks. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and were flawlessly bilingual with English and Finnish. Hotel does not have its own sauna, but there is a public facility right across the street that apparently is quite highly regarded. I have stayed in four other hotels in Helsinki over the years, and had good experiences with all of them. However, the unique combination of location, history and features put the Hotel Torni at the top of my list for my next trip to Helsinki. Đọc thêm

usually stay here. slightly old-fashioned which gives it great charm, and it's a place with a significant history. food great (they cater excellently for gluten-free clients!) and rooms lovely. reception staff is friendly and easy to work with.

The hotel is very nice, and the location is excellent. The only problem is that the bathroom is rather small, and the shower doesn't have a step to separate it from the rest of the bathroom, so it floods very easily. Not terrible, but annoying. Also, most floors in one of the elevators seem to be blocked, or something, which creates a lot of confusion, […] but hilarious situations. Everyone in the hotel is very nice, though. Đọc thêm

this hotel is in the heart of Helsinki. It was great as it was close walking distance to just about anything you would want to do. We stayed for only a night as we passed through visiting past exchange students!

We loved this hotel. It's really in the middle of everything, the hotel has an interesting history, and there's a great bar with one of the best views of the city on the top floor. The room was very beautiful, clean, and Internet and tv worked well.

We were impressed that our room was available at 7.30 am after our long flight from Hong Kong. We understand that this could not happen every time because of availabilities but it was a great introduction to the hotel. Everything was just as we like it and the breakfast was one of the best we've had.

Located very central in Helsinki it offers good service quality, unique character and that unbeatable little gem of Ateljee Bar on Top. It felt very nice to be there!

The hotel locates at the centre of everything, Stockman, train station, shops and not far from the Senate Square and market. I would definitely stay here again for the location. The views on the top of the hotel at the bar is another plus. If you don't want to stay in a soulless chain hotel, Torni is for you. It is a really charming place with lots of history associated with the building. I like the way it has been modernised over the years without losing it's spirit and style. This chain takes old buildings and redoes the interior entirely. So it was a 1928 deco building with completely redone deco style rooms. And, the windows open (I hate hotels where you can't open a window). Help was wonderful -- consistently. Breakfast had many offerings - very good. We loved that bicycles were availible to ride at no extra charge - […] there is a great waterfront bike path loop. We were looking for a hotel close to the train station to catch the Allegro to St Petersburg. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and the location was only a five minute walk to the train station, which achieved our goal. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was a great location and close to local transportation..The staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful with multiple choices and fresh fruit.

Checking in, we got to select which side of the hotel we'd like to stay in, the modern or Jugend style side. The staff was unfailingly polite, and worked diligently to solve a little hiccup at check-in. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful, and there were several choices (eggs, sausages, breads, Karelian pies, croissants, cereal, muesli, yogurt, […] fruit, coffee, tea, juices, etc.). The location of the hotel was perfect for us, close to Mannerheimintie and the central shopping areas but enough out of the busiest roads to be quiet. Even if not staying at the hotel, the tower bar is worth checking out. The only problem we experienced was minor noise and partial street closures around the hotel from re-paving the cobblestone streets in the area. Otherwise our stay was extremely satisfying. The hotel location is fantastic - walking distance to all the city sights. We were welcomed by a very friendly and efficient receptionist. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with an English language TV channel being appreciated. The bathroom was a bit cramped but a hair dryer being supplied made up for that! This is an outstandingly well run hotel. It has a fabulous Art Deco interior and many features (including the lift) from its 1930s heyday. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of everything including amny trams which are a great way of getting around the whole city. The hotel has newly refurbished rooms in two styles - our modern style room was large and very comfortable - great!
