The hotel has improved overall since Best Western took over. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast offered a nice selection of cold and hot options. for past couple of years of going to brunswick, me, always stayed at the grungy hotel around the corner. didnt know this best western was even there. very poor signage. i finally took a peek up the road to see if another hotel was close enough, and to my very happy surprise, i found this gem. absolutely clean and comfortable in every aspect. like brand […] new. awesome staff, from the desk to the restaurant. the only place i will stay at from now on. but, it needs better signage so others can enjoy it. The hotel facilities were fine, but the "newly opened" grill and bar, fell far short of what one would expect for a newly renovated Best Western facility. Maybe next time there will be improvements.

Room very clean and quiet.Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows,Nice big bathroom too.The pool was perfect.We had a great swim and we didn't have to hurry to check out which was really nice.

But only one person on duty at the hotel. I felt sorry for her. It was a snowy night and there was no one else on duty. The next day, the front desk person had a very bad cold, coughed over everything, again, only person on duty. Bread had mold on it. Did not eat the breakfast after I saw that. I was disappointed. I was quite happy with the condition of this hotel. Everything was brand new. The evening staff was quite helpful and friendly. The day staff was lazy and couldn't care less. Half the time they were not at the desk. The towels at the pool were not replaced unless we said something. The second day our trash was emptied in our room and the towels changed […] but they did not make the beds or clean at all. The location was near a bunch of stores and a movie theatre. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The pool area was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the water heater, though, so no hot shower in the AM. I only got 10% off which I did not feel was enough compensation for the inconvenience.

The hotel had no hot water on Saturday the 3rd in the AM as someone shut the boiler switch off. Very disappointing.

It appears that this hotel has recently changed owners and they are in the process of upgrading items. The breakfest area needs a sink, and a second waffle machine, they ran out of batter twice on the same day. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and the white tub had streaks. We were booked on the first floor next to a party that "ended" @ 11pm that actually spraauled into the parking lot behind our room. It would have been nice to have a had a better room saved for us considering I booked way in advance and told them I would be coming in late. I had 2 daghters with me. The frontdesk gal just said "sorry" no more rooms.

The hotel stafff were very nice. The room was clean as was the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Two complaints are that the mattress was not very comfortable. Also, I used a debit card when I checked in and they made two charges to the card despite the fact that the room was pre-paid. Loved it! Staff was incredible and everything is clean and new. Hot breakfast is a nice bonus before you head out shopping. Pool is also very nice. We will be back

The staff was wonderful, our room was very clean and tidy upon arrival. The only complaint I have is the housekeeping, while they changed the linens and the Tookes near each day, you could tell they did not sweep and forgot to leave coffee. We stayed 4 nights.

The non-smoking room we stayed had a terrible smell. Checked with front desk but was told no available room to switch to. There were some renovation going on so our window was blocked with a plastic film. It was not a pleasant stay.

Hotel under renovations, but still a very pleasant experience. Front desk clerk was lovely...trying to do many things at once and kept her cool! Not easy I know being a former hotel employee. Brought us additional pillows with a smile and apologized for the (5 minute) wait! Would definately stay here again.

Overall it was a good experience. The hotel is convenient to Brunswick down town and the staff is good. The breakfast was marginal at best. The common area (including elevator) was noticably unkept.
