Great Wetsern City Hotel has a great location on C/Buenos Aires right smack in the middle of Milan's shopping strip. It is conveneint to tourist bus stops and a metro station. The hotel is within walking distance (three blocks) of Milan Central railway station providing you are not lugging too large a suitcase.

As with all Best Western Hotels you know exactly what to expect. This was no different, clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff. close to the airport- cost 18 Euros in a cab breakfast is very basic but does the job when you are on the go. Cab ride from the train stn was about 8Euros- definately wouldnt be walking it. room was clean and practical for 1 night.

Não sei se eu e meu marido tivemos muito azar, mas nossa experiência neste hotel foi no mínimo um desastre. Fazia bastante calor em Milão e para nossa surpresa, o ar condicionado não funcionava. Questionamos a recepcionista que nos informou que o ar frio não podia ser ligado nesta época do ano. Para dormir tivemos que abrir as janelas e suportar o barulho […] que vinha da rua. No dia seguinte, conversamos com o gerente do hotel que explicou que existe uma lei em Milão que não autoriza o uso do ar condicionado até meados de abril. Como somos turistas e não sabemos das leis locais, tivemos que engolir. O recepcionista viu nossa situação e nos ofereceu uma troca de quartos. Aceitamos, mas o novo quarto tinha novos problemas. O ralo do banheiro escoava a água muito devagar e a água acabava empoçando nos pés. Além disso, havia uma porta de vidro para isolar os quartos do hall do elevador. O resultado foi muito barulho muito cedo pela manha das pessoas entrando e saindo por essa porta e deixando ela bater sozinha. O barulho era insuportável. Como eu e meu marido já havíamos reclamado do ar condicionado, optamos por não reportar esses últimos dois problemas. Mas, definitivamente, não recomendamos este hotel. Existem muitos outros hotéis na região de Corso Buenos Aires e se um dia eu voltar a Milão, vou procurar outras opções. Đọc thêm

Jag tycker att hotellet fungerade bra under de fyra nätter som jag stannade. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Frukosten okej men lite urplockad vid nio då jag satte mig. Det ligger strategiskt bra i Milano. Bra och nära tunnelbanan med röd linje som går förbi det absoluta city och hela vägen till mässan. Nära centralstationen och Linate-flygplatsen […] (typ 15€). Staff are very friendly, Very nice breakfast room and choice of food. Single room was clean. It is compact and comfortable enough but priced on the high side for a smallish single. The 3€ city tax in Milan is a shocker!

Et hotel vi gerne vil anbefale. Gode rummelige værelser og dejligt badeværelse. Hotellet ligger lige på strøggaden, så en del støj, afhængig af siden af bygningen. Men man er også lige i centrum, hvor der er få meter til nærmeste metro, masser af butikker og i gåafstand til Duomoen og hovedbanegården.

Aircondition virket ikke. Vi meddelte dette til hotellet men intet ble gjort.Vi måtte derfor åpne vinduene for å få inn luft. Det var imidlertid en fryktelig støy fra Corso Buenos Aires. Svært lite søvn. Prisene var ok og frokosten meget bra.

Morgenmadsrestaurant var fin og godt udvalg efter italienske forhold. Hotellet ligger lige på strøggaden Buenos Aires, hvor der er masser af butikker og cafeer. Man kan gå til Duomoen […] på ca. 15-20 min., ellers er metroen lige udenfor døren. Hotellet kan anbefales, men hvis man ønsker ro og ingen trafikstøj, skal man ikke bo her. Helt OK Hotell med trevligt personal i receptionenen. Trevliga och rymliga rum men med hårda sängar. Det enda som inte motsvarade förväntningarna var frukosten som serverade i trång källarlokal men ett mycket litet utbud.

Het hotel ligt aan een vrij drukke straat, maar als je een kamer aan de achterkant vraagd dan is dit prima te doen. Wij hadden een zeer ruime kamer die heel erg schoon was. Iedere dag werd alles verschoond en schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt is prima er is voor iedereen wel iets lekkers bij. Je loopt vanuit het hotel zo richting Duomo en je ziet van alles […] onderweg. Op enkele meters van het hotel is het metrostation Lima. Met een dag of dagenkaart kun je gebruik maken van metro-bus en tram wat een aanraders is. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt und der U-Bahn Anschluß fast vor der Haustür. Es befindet sich in einer der Einkaufsstraßen von Mailand, man ist umgeben von vielen Geschäften. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr klein, aber für einen Kurztrip kein Problem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Einziges Defizit das Frühstück. […] Für ein Hotel wie das Best Western, was sich mit Intercontinental Breakfast rühmt, hätte ich mehr erwartet. Wurst und Käse fehlten hier gänzlich. Jeden Tag das gleiche, immer Rührei, keinerlei Abwechslung, kaum Brote und ein bißchen Müsli. Dafür, dass Italien so viel kulinarisch zu bieten hat, könnte das Best Western ruhig schon beim Frühstück einen Vorgeschmack darauf geben. Đọc thêm

Die Lage ist gut, wobei es in der Nähe keinerlei Parkmöglichkeiten für den PKW gibt, selbst zum Entladen gab es keine Haltemöglicheit (zugeparkt!). Man kann einen Parkplatz in einem Parkhaus mieten, kostet 17€ pro Tag und man läuft gut zehn Minuten. Trotz angeblicher Schalldämmung hört man den Straßenverkehr, Doppelzimmer zur Hofseite gab es nur ein […] einziges auf wiederholtes drängendes Nachfragen. Trevligt hotell mitt på Milanos stora shopping gata. Frukosten var inget att hurra för. Och inte en enda restaurang i närheten av den långa gatan Corso buenos aires. Då var man tvungen att bege sig till Doumo. Annars helt ok. Fint hotell men, Milano var aldeles för stort, ingen mysfaktor.
