Was a disappointing stay at the Blackpool Hilton, expected more comfier provision, bedding was low standard, shower curtain - so disgusting, found dirty sock left from previous guest on bedroom floor.

I booked this for my friends 70th birthday treat tI was absolutely brilliant Your staff made it extra special by decorating the table at dinner and giving my friend a birthday card. Lovely rooms and delicious food. Thank youto you all. Your Restaurant Manageress was particularly welcoming and attentive .

During our stay, we were disappointed that a three course meal was served instead of carvery meal on two evenings. This was due to the number of people in the hotel not justifying providing a carvery. Also the three course meal was more expensive than the carvery. We only stayed for 1night but we were very pleased with the hotel. We had hot sandwiches for lunch, very nice but a bit pricey.the staff were brilliant. The only complaint was the smelly shower curtain. Dreadful things.Great breakfast with so much choice and again wonderful service.

Well, its the Hilton, stayed in a few Hiltons recently and definately live off the name, ie nothing like as exclusive as they used to be...but saying that the breakfast was lovely, would stay there again for that alone.

Hotel room was clean, and nice outlook onto the front, but I'm afraid what struck us when we first went in was the poor quality and shabbiness of the bedding. White duvet was very creased, had holes in, and pillowcases did not fit pillows. All looked very depressing. Apart from a function taking place which was supposed to finish at 11pm but ran over until 11:40 being extremely noisy and leading to loss of sleep, everything else was really good. Food was excellent in the breakfast buffet, the Pool and amenities were also very welcome. Overall, stay was fine but the rooms are a bit tired - could do with a complete refit. We would book again though. Was good for going to a concert at the Opera House in the winter gardens - walked both ways (20 minutes)

Very impressed with hotel, great breakfast, pool lovely and warm, staff and service excellent. Only criticism is parking charge for car of £5 per night. Should be inclusive in price of room!

We stayed at the Hilton Blackpool for 3 nights. It was a fun trip and the hotel was close to the tram which was nice. You could see the ocean from some rooms. The food was good but quite expensive inside the hotel. The pool was nice and heated.

First arrived and welcomed quickly, very polite an helpful people on the desk , the rooms are very clean and Enjoyable to stay in , breakfast in the morning more than you could ask for with very good service overall very enjoyable stay and would recommend

Hotel not great for a four-star, let alone a Hilton. However, probably the best in Blackpool. Two standard rooms booked. OK for space but furniture scratched/scuffed/handles not affixed properly etc. One very flat pillow per person so requested more. Cleanliness good. No minibar/fridge in room. Disappointing no free wifi in rooms, only in lobby. Ample […] car parking in hotel car park, but again, disappointing there was a daily charge for guests. Didn't use the leisure facilities, but pool looked small. Food expensive considering the standard and where we were. Waiting staff in restaurant struggled with English. Breakfast ok, although hotel encouraged guests to avoid the queues during peak periods and attend breakfast early. My suggestion to the hotel would be to take on more staff. Reception staff helpful. The Hotel was a little out of the way, the reception was helpful and staff kind.The room was a little old and the pillows really not good.The wifi did not work, apparently it broke down the night I stayed.. Not a place I would run back to.

I was staying in Blackpool for the first time for Business with my partner. I paid a premium price with comparison with other rooms at other hotels in the area. There seemed to be an abundance of hotels when I search for Blackpool so i stuck to a name i recognised in Hilton and hoped for the best. The good bits include the friendly staff at reception […] and the superb breakfast (one of the best selection I have ever seen!). The bad bits, unfortunately include the bed in the room with which we stayed in, poor quality pillows and location. We stayed in room 423 and the bed was very noisy. Every time you would move during the night it would make a loud noise, this is infurirating when you are trying to sleep and resulted in a poor nights sleep for both myself and my partner. The pillows also are of such poor quality where you put your head in the pillow and it seems as if there is nothing in the pillow (even after getting extra pillows from the wardrobes it still meant that they were far too soft). I have stayed in Hiltons before and thought the experience wonderful, however I would probably think again before staying at another. I will be sending this to the hotel and update this review if I hear back. The only reason the location disappointed me was I was unaware having never been to Blackpool before how far we where from the main strip. it is quite a walk down to the pleasure beach and major piers. As ca be seen from the title, the services of the hotel is great and warm, the breakfast is brilliant, however the hotel is far from those game centre and the amusement park of Blackpool, it cost around 10pounds to get the Pleasant Beach. This is the only drawback.

Stayed at the Hilton Blackpool for a long weekend. Breakfast is always good, although I do think there are signs of cut backs. Room was confortable although the bathroom was in need of some attention.

I stayed 4 nights in Feb 2013 and can't praise the hotel staff enough. They are friendly and accommodating only too willing to help. The food was excellent with a specials menu in the evening at a very competitive price. The tram / bus link is right outside the door and buying a day tripper you can travel all day and night excellent value, especially […] if you are going to do the local area like we did. The hotel was clean but the staff did not seem to care. We dined in the restaurant on Sat. and chose the a la carte menu. This was not cheap. My partner is unable to eat a full meal after major surgery but despite the fact that we told the waiter, he did not understand. We asked for a small light omelet for him with no extras. When it arrived it was […] a full 3 egg omelette with a pile of chips on the plate. We sent it and then the same omelette appeared without the chips. It was burnt on the outside and hard and my partner was unable to eat it. We ordered a bottle of white wine £25 and not until we were 3//4 of way into it were we offered a cooler. The waiter then seemed to vanish. We finished the main course and then waited 30 minutes, no-one cleared the table and we were not offered a sweet menu so we just walked away. Only spent one night in the hotel with kids and my Parents and Sister & family were there too. We had a fab time. The hotel was lovely and the staff, particularly the restaurant staff couldn't do enough for you. Spacious hotel and very good facilities but bedrooms are small for a four star hotel and in need of refurbishment. THE HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION ON THE NORTH SHORE, APPROX 15 MINUTES WALK INTO TOWN. THERE IS A BUS AND TRAM STOP NEARBY. THE HOTEL LOUNGE, BAR AND RESTAURANT WERE A GOOD SIZE BUT WE DIDN'T FIND THE RESTAURANT MENU APPEALING, THERE WASN'T A HUGE CHOICE. THE BEDROOM, ALTHOUGH ON THE SMALL SIDE, WAS WELL LAID OUT AND COMFORTABLE. THE BED WAS A BIT FIRM […] FOR US BUT HOUSEKEEPING PUT A MATTRESS TOPPER ON WHICH REALLY HELPED. THE BATHROOM IS IN NEED OF A BIT OF UPDATING AND PARTS OF THE HOTEL COULD DO WITH A BIT OF TLC. MOST BEDROOMS HAVE A SEA VIEW AND ALTHOUGH OUR ROOM WAS NEXT TO THE LIFT THERE WASN'T TOO MUCH NOISE. Spacious & well appointed entrance. Pleasant & efficient check-in. Our room on the 7th floor was in very good condition. It was standard twin, not huge but comfortable & specious enough with all the usual Hilton 'extras' (tea & coffee, complimentary shower gel etc, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, extra pillows & so on). The fitness suite & pool were […] good & the staff were excellent. Buffet breakfast was again, really good plus good service in the restaurant & bar. I would also imagine that most rooms have sea views as the windows are 'angled' to look out over the promanade & we were fortunate to be on the 'tower' side. Bus stop just outside, tram stop nearby & a large car park if required. Again, check-out pleasant & efficient. Spent the weekend at the Hilton, every member of staff we came across were superb, resteraunt staff were extra special, also the hotel posted back the wife's make up case which was found in the corridor. Could be the best hotel in Blackpool if it keeps these standards up

The rooms were very cold with no extra blankets. The rooms were in near of a refit. The food was ok but the staff were not always on the ball during breakfast when serving coffee and fruit juice.

Excellent service, could vary the entertainment for example bingo or karaoke and also the room was a bit dated and the bed was very hard. But overall very good definitely stay again!!
