Best Western Hotel Piemontese - Turin

I don't normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so as the service I received at Hotel Piemontese was great! The hotel is in a great location - 5 minutes walk to PN station, 10-15 minutes to the town centre itself. The hotel is clean and comfortable, good bathroom and I had a balcony over the courtyard which was a bonus! Communal areas are really […] nice and free internet in the lobby is a bonus! However, My main reason for leaving this review is the staff. They were helpful at all times - providing guidance or how to get to the football stadium for the Juve match, pointing out restaurants and places of interest and even loaning out plug adaptors to foolish travellers (i.e. me) who had forgotten their own! Everyone was really friendly and helpful and it was honestly a pleasure to stay there. If I return to Turin I would definitely stay there again. highly recommended, very affordable and thanks to all! We were in Turin for Terra Madre, Slow Foods International Conference. The staff was amazing, we loved the girl who worked in the breakfast area and our room was very nice. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Despite the shady area, I loved this hotel. The staff was helpful and approachable. It was a bit noisy because of the street, but it wasn't bad when it was closed. I just wish the air conditioner worked better!

weather was very warm, but hotel had shut off AC due to time of the year. Opened balcony door, but street is dusty and noisy. Das Frühstück in Buffetform hatte eine große und leckere Auswahl: Brötchen, Croissants, Graubrot, Zwieback, Marmelade, Nutella, Käse, Schinken/Wurst, Kuchen/Kekse, Eier (roh, zum selber hartkochen), Cornflakes etc., Joghurt, Obst, Saft, Wasser (Kaffee, Tee etc. wurden individuell beim Personal bestellt). Aufgrund der Bahnhofsnähe ist die Gegend um das Hotel nicht ganz so schön. Es ist zwar in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen, aber man trifft schon ab und zu auf Obdachlose oder Bettler. Ein stilvolles kleines Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage mit sehr nettem Personal. Der zentrale Bahnhof (Porta Nuova) und die U-Bahn sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Sehr gute Gastronomie in der näheren Umgebung. Einzig die unmittelbare Nachbarschaft wirkt nicht sogleich einladend.

Terzo giorno: ancora buio pesto: ritorno alla reception,l’impiegata molto seccata dice che a lei il problema risulta risolto,nuova visita di controllo in camera,inizia un antipatico scaricabarile,nuova promessa per il giorno dopo…inutile dire che tutto resta così per tutti e cinque i giorni del nostro soggiorno. Alla fine niente test di gradimento cliente:chissa perche! Dimenticavo:l’hotel si trova in una zona centrale sì,ma poco rassicurante,soprattutto di sera ( al nostro arrivo la receptionist ci ha raccomandato di evitare una certa strada ma direi che andrebbe evitato tutto il quartiere):perciò non lo raccomando in particolare se viaggiate da soli,o se siete un gruppo di ragazze o se viaggiate con dei bambini.
