Our stay was a lengthy one, 10 days. The personnel were wonderful,very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was well equiped. It was the best hotel I have stayed in Hamburg. Service, room, amenities, etc. You got everything here. And it is so close from the main area of business, shopping and dining! The hotel is very well situated in the very upclass financial centre of the city and is a short 3-4 min walk form the main shopping centre; less to the closest underground train station. The entrance area of the hotel is well landscaped with a nice patio eating/siting area fronting the 2x classy hotel restaurants. The entire area is very well maintained, […] which is indicative of the hotel in general. A very pleasant aroma greets you as you enter the reception and the staff are very friendly and all speak a high standard of English. The rooms are first class with an excellent standard of furnishing and a very comfortable bed. The duvet on the king-size bed consisted of 2x smaller duvets, which did not really appeal to my partner, but did to me. There are several UK channels on the standard in-room TV and a comfortable sofa to watch from. We were asked what day in our stay did we want the complimentary picnic, which we knew nothing of prior to arriving. It was supplied in a traditional wicker picnic basket and like everything else in the hotel was first class. We had a standard room for 4x nights and I believe we did not select any special arrangement that included this. The hotel pool, gym and health suite is also very nice and is all fitted out to a very high standard. I stayed here just for one night so decided to eat in the hotel restaurant which was apparently very good. After waiting 5 mins before anyone appeared to seat me I got a menu and picked my food. I only saw one waitress the whole time I was there. What arrived was nothing special and very standard! The service was awful. I even got asked if I wanted […] the desert while I was waiting for my main course as the waitress had forgotten I hadn't had my main. It wasn't busy as there was only one other table occupied. When I got home the next day I saw what looked like a bug bite on my shoulder and ankle. It was confirmed that these were from bed bugs!! Not good Đọc thêm

This is an excellant Hotel. The location is close to the shops and resteraunts but also just an ideal bit away from the hustel and bustle. We stayed in a Superior Room, which I highly recommend, so comfortable and made our stay very relaxing. The staff in the Hotel from the reception to the Bar were great and accomodated our every request. The spa […] was also very good. Booked the king -bed, but it was actually only 2 twin bed put together, not comfortable at all. No tea or coffer in the room; Lunch bread was cold,; bar was not cozy for winter staying. The sofa in the room was nice; Reception was friendly. Sauna with a resting room beside was really good --probably the best one in Hamburg.

Its a splendid hotel with nice facilities and placed very central in Hamburg. But we are not at all satisfied about the price for breakfast. 26 euros for each person is to much for coffee and bread.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Normally, I choose older hotels with more charm, but other than that, this hotel was perfect. Best staff, every room amenity you could ask for, very convenient location. I highly recommend it!

Without question, a hotel worthy of it's five star rating. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is perfect in the heart of the city.

I have been in Hamburg many times and stayed in many hotels there, but I have to admit that the Sofitel was one of the best business hotles I have stayed there so far. It is accessable, clean, stylish, nice SPA. Highly recommended

This is an excellent hotel on all counts - except for one major blind spot..... It is brilliantly located, bang in the centre, 2 mins from the Town Hall square, with a fabulously understated yet knowing modern style throughout (think savvy, comfortable elegance in greys and browns rather than tedious ultra-trendy gimmickry), with lovely, lavish breakfast […] (though pricey at 24 euros per person), gorgeous terrace by the canal for anything from a coffee to a proper meal with wine, and overall the comfort, thoughtfulness and generosity of a proper contemporary 5-star.... EXCEPT that the mattresses were an incomprehensible blast from a 60s English B&B past, sagging like a hammock and nigh impossible to sleep on except on one's back (if drunk and/or truly exhausted). After our first night we brought this bizarre, unacceptable oversight to the reception's attention, who, with Germanic coolness said they would address the issue, but we didn't notice any difference on the second night. The next day we left, so didn't pursue the matter further. I hope our room was an exception. I liked this hotel so much on all fronts I would like to return and give it a second chance. Đọc thêm

Excellent location, very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, perfect location. Only negative point: service at breakfast; after 15 minutes at our table we had to ask for coffee...

Wir waren schon öfters im Sofitel und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Väldigt bra läge om man vill se de äldre delarna av staden. Men om det är en liten bit till de hippa barområdena. Hotellet är beläget nära tunnelbana och S-bahn vilket gör det lätt att ta sig runt. Hotellet är väldigt fult på utsidan men rummen är väldigt fina och det finns spa och poolområde som är till viss del gratis. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold. Vi havde et af de billigste værelser og det var rigtig godt. Vi havde et mod vejsiden. Vi mener ikke siden mod kanalen ville være bedre:-) Det er rigtig meget dyrt at parkerer ved hotellet og i de andre phuse i centrum. Vi fandt et phus på internettet uden for centrum, Quarre 6, 22041, tæt ved undergrundsbanen, Wandsbek […] Markt. Her var det 6 gange billigerer pr. døgn end ved hotellet. Đọc thêm

Alt var som man kunne forvente, dog ikke sengen. Den var alt for brugt, man lå næsten på gulvet.

Vi har boet på hotellet før og kommer der gerne igen. Morgenbordet er overdådigt men meget dyrt.

Vi overnattede på dette hotel 4 nætter henover påsken 2012. Hotellet var meget centralt placeret, tæt på Rådhuset og shopping-gaderne i den indre by. Ca. 100 m fra U og S-bahn. Vi har været yderst tilfredse med opholdet. God service og hjælpsomhed fra alt personale vi snakkede med. De hjalp gerne med at finde vej og anbefale restauranter m.m. og tog […] sig god tid til at hjælpe. Lækkert værelse (Vi havde et Superior værelse med udsigt til kanalerne) Stor seng med mulighed for anden pude. Lækkert badeværelse i marmor og med "regn" bruser og badekar. Vi benyttede også hotellets pool og spa-område. Rigtig lækkert med både sauna, dampbad, lille fitness-rum og pool til fri afbenyttelse. (Området Lukker kl. 22 og ikke 23 som anført i Hotellets Info-mappe på værelset) Ønskede man dog massage m.m. kostede dette dog relativt meget. Ligeledes kostede morgenmad også utroligt meget, en af de ting vi kunne ønske var inkluderet. Dette kan dog købes ca. 100 m fra hotellet på CroBag (bagerforretning m.m.) eller Belzac. Utomordentlig! Närheten till både affärscentrat, som till Repebahn är utmärkt. . Frukost ingick inte i priset. Vi njöt dock av den superdyra matorgien. Hotellet var till stor belåtenhet. Den kommer från och med nu att bli vårt stamställe i Hamburg.

Hotellet ligger lige i midten af Hamborg og der er kun to minutters gang til enten Neuer Wall eller Möckenbergstrasse (de to vigtigste shoppinggader). Alt på hotellet er flot og moderne - lever op til de fem stjerner. Det eneste minus er den dyre parkering og generel dyr morgenmad, dyr minibar osv. Men man får til gengæld, hvad man betaler for.

Super luksus lige midt i centrum af Hamborg

Lækkert hotel, central beliggenhed, meget dyr morgenmad (29 Euro) og dyr parkering (25 Euro/døgn). Fitnesscenter meget lille.

Dejligt hotel med en super lækker balkon, hvor man kan sidde langs vandet og nyde sin drink. Meget moderne hotel, god spa-afdeling, ligger meget centralt. Vi var meget tilfredse.

Hotellet er beliggende tæt på alle seværdigheder midt i Hamborg og alligevel ligger det ugenert for trafik og støj.

Vi var på kærestetur til Hamburg og hotellet var helt fantastisk også til dette formål. Det var helt igennem et fantastisk ophold. Hotellet ligger tæt på det flotte rådhus og eksklusive butikker. små, men lækre værelser. Sengen er som udgangspunkt meget blød, men hvis ikke du får det fortalt i receptionen, kan jeg fortælle dig, at den øverste "dynemadras" […] med fordel kan tages af, hvis man er til en hårdere seng. Wellness området er sublimt (dog ingen boblebad) og udenfor sæsonen er der fint med plads, gratis vand, frugt og håndklæder til fri afbenyttelse. Vi kan klart anbefale hotellets Sushi restaurant, som er frisk og stort udvalg til billige priser (sammenlignet med DK). service og rengøring var helt i top og shampoo og toiletartikler på værelset er i høj kvalitet. Morgenmaden var dyr i tilkøb, så vi spiste på en ganske udemærket morgenmads/frokost cafe lige om hjørnet. Alt i alt er det en oplevelse alle bør unde sig selv og sit parforhold. Đọc thêm

Tilbragte en weekend på hotellet med min datter på 8. Vi følte os begge taget godt i mod. Hotellet ligger meget centralt placeret i forhold til restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder. Dyr morgenmad og MEGET dyr parkering

Nära till shopping. Nära till de mesta. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Spa-avdelningen var bra men något litet.

Perfekter Service, Perfekte Lage...super Hotel. Ein Wehrmutstropfen: Das "Bitte nicht stören"-Schild wurde 2 x vom Putzmann durch Klopfen misachtet. Geht gar nicht für ein Hotel dieser Klasse!

Hotel Sofitel i Hamburg tilfredsstillede alle vore ønsker til et centralt beliggende hotel. Og servicen var helt i top.

Det er anden gang vi overnatter på dette hotel. Denne gang valgte vi at booke en junior suite, som var lidt skuffende. Værelset var ikke så meget større end et standardværelse og der var ikke mulighed for et værelse med kanaludsigt. Så et godt tip; man kan godt skrive en kommentar ved bookningen at man evt. gerne vil have et værelse med kanaludsigt. […] Sidste gang havde jeg glemt min badedragt og de gemmer åbenbart ikke glemte sager... Rent og pænt hotel i centrum af Hamburg. Rolige og lyse omgivelser og et fint spa/pool område. Kan klart anbefale dette hotel. Eneste minus er den dyre morgenmad.
