Quality Inn Riverview - Enola

The hotel is located in Enola, which is on the other side of the river from Harrisburg, but is located near the highway, so it is easy to get where you need to go.

My only complaint was the breakfast area. People were reaching over others, the area was confined. More appliances would help the flow better. Other then that, the people were very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was exactly what we needed. It was within walking distance of my son's college. Anyone visiting their student at the nearby college should consider spending the night at the Quality Inn Riverview. Big and bright it served out needs Perfectly. Price was right and the room comfortable. There is a Kmart mall just across the way. Never stayed for breakfast.

At first glance sitting on a hill overlooking the Rail Yards and the river, one stops to think?, When we entered the loby, it smelled of stail smoke, the desk man told me that they hve contracts with the rail road, and there pepole can smoke in their rooms only, and they are in one wing and the non smokers are in another wing. We decided to stay and […] asked for a room as far from smokeing as possable, which we were given. There was no smell of smoke down the no smokeing wing or in our room. The beds were very comfortable, and there was ample hot water. The breakfast leaves something to your imagination. The waffle maker was out of order, and from what I could find it had been out for an extended time. There were sausages, something that looked like eggs, toaster french toast, toaster waffles, and the usual breads, cerial ect. NOTE, there should be a disclaimer placed on the Coffie. The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows (You get three.) were half-size. They might have been 9" square, to the point the excess case was stuffed inside itself to fit. Weird. The diner next door had good, home style food with a friendly staff. Appreciate coffee and milk available at 5:30. Free Wall Street Journal. Frig in room and good internet connection. Shopping plaza adjacent has nice casual Italian restaurant.

I look forward to returning to this hotel for my next trip to the area. It was located a short distance from my meeting area and also in an area that had many restuarants and shopping options. Overall it was an okay place to stay. It was clean and spacious enough. The location was good and I liked the free parking. Continental breakfast, while free, wasn't exactly the best. Their one "healthy" component was a bowl of bananas. Still it wasn't horrible and better than others I have seen.

Just think it was more expensive than it was worth. I would have been happy to spend 75/80 night. Total was 220, think that's a bit much. Next time might try and get a lodge as we usually take our own breakfast and lunch, and might be able to save half. But it was all good. Heater was too noisy to have on at night.

I was satisfied with our stay at this hotel. I was a little leary of the neighboring railroad tracks, but hardly heard anything out of the trains at all. Very well kept, highly recommended.

We liked our stay but, I was asked to leave a $50.00 security deposit and when we went to leave the clerk asked me to wait while he checked the room, then he returned our deposit.I felt like we weren`t trusted.We never had that happen to us, Anywhere.We are not rowdy minors just two men in our 50`s going to a car show.

I didn't really like the pillows on the bed. They were small square things that didn't really offer a good amount of support. However, the heater worked great, which is important considering how cold it's been recently. That night, I used the bathroom and afterwards the toliet kept running. It was off and on for over half an hour. I took the lid off […] the tank and the chain had slipped off the lever. I fixed it and the problem stopped. I used the bathroom the next morning and the toliet started running again. This time it was the rubber seal. It didn't really bother me, but for someone else who doesn't know how to do these surface fixes (or doesn't see this as their job) this could drive them crazy or cause problems with the management. Appreciated the hard-cooked eggs for a high-protein breakfast and the Wall Street journals. Wireless internet worked fine. Trains in the neighborhood were noisy in the morning.

the room was large and clean. excellent A/C and I was at the end of the hall so nice and quiet. Having said that.... for the price I was very disappointed to have to sit on a folding chair at a plastic folding table for breakfast. The price is right- location is good, room was clean. Furniture is dated- thread worn sofa, soiled desk chair. Four small pillows on king sized bed. Hot offerings at breakfast looked unappetizing. I usually eat a cold breakfast so it was OK. Coffee in dispenser was cold.

The hotel was ok for a one night stay... nothing to great, nothing to bad... just your average hotel.... distance for the city wasnt that bad and there are some nice local places for food and drink near by as well. You may need the dunkin donuts across the parking lot as the breakfast selection there was very slim.

we use this a guest room when visiting family. no fuss in and out, clean, comfortable and very reasonable price-wise. if they had a pool we wouldnt leave.

Everything was great. The room is clean even though they provided cheap toilet paper. My only disappointment is the breakfast. They don't replace the breakfast regularly. If you come later in the morning (we came at 9.15am), there won't be much food left.

Our room was very clean; however, we only had 3 pillows on a king size bed and had to ask for extra towels too. They ended up charging us for a pillow and towels, saying we took them from the hotel. The reality was we never had them to begin with. Our room was also not ready when we arrived and we had to leave and come back in an hour.

Motel was in a convenient location, I was disappointed with riverview claim although you could see the river it was across the highway and across the railroad lines etc. so distant from the room. We were in a first floor room and the noise level above was so bad and I went to the front office close to midnight to ask for a room upstairs and was given […] a second floor room so we had to move all belongings to another room. Didn't get much sleep that night. Continental breakfast was minimal. Repairs to the second floor room was certainly far from professional although clean. We will not stay there again. Clean, well kept. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Great diner next door without having to drive anywhere - you can walk there. Close to HACC and Farm Show Complex.

I've stayed here several times while in Harrisburg on business, but not for a couple of years. It's still good. This is an adequate motel for an overnight stay for those traveling Rt. 15. Rooms were average motel style, staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was not appetizing, but restaurants are close by.

However this hotel is near an active rail yard next to the river and you can hear the trains slowing down, screetching against the rails. This hotel was what I expected it to be but saying it's nice is definitely a stretch. Although it's obviously received a face lift the fact remains that this is an older, substandard hotel that sits right across from a train yard (insert screeching train brake here...). The random braking noises were almost haunting in the dead of night (had I not known […] what they were).
