Great value for the price and really appreciated the cleaniness and comfy queen bed. Also the breakfast was very nice... A great place for humble and non picky guests.

All of your employees at the Quality Inn on route 38 in New Jersey are absolutely fantastic. Made a very difficult time so much better and much easier to deal with. A huge thank you to everybody I dealt with out there. They all deserve a huge pat on the back and again please tell them all I said thank you very much.

Wow! With it being a Conference Center I thought that it would be clean crisp and full of life. I was wrong! It was Old as if it was built in the 1930's. It was dirty. The carpets has a smell that turns your stomach. They really need to be replaced and burnt! And the place still have the big back TV's in them. It's been quite a few years since I stayed […] in a hotel without Flat HDTV's. Awful. The sheets were stained with you know what and the cleaning lady attempted to hand me clean sheets through the door. perfect place to sleep. ONE BIG problem. Our door did not close and lock. We were lucky no one tried to open our door while we were away from the room. We found out about this when we returned to the room and found we could open the door by turning the handle and pushing the door. NO KEY NECESSARY. This site was too out of date and dilapidated to be considered quality by any means. The staff was cordial & accommodating however this site is in serious need of an upgrade.

The hotel is old and it shows it. Stained carpets, peeling wallpaper and chipped or falling apart furniture. At least there were no bedbugs.

pool not open which was one of the reasons we picked the hotel-also asked for a late check out since we arrived quite late but were denied. disappointed with both issues.

The pictures are very deceiving! The place smelled musty all over.... the vending machines were pretty much empty, the floors were covered in dingy carpet, the rooms had popcorn ceilings that were patched and discolored, the rooms smelled like paint and had paint splatter on the floors, doors, and all over the bathroom. We had to change rooms because […] the a/c was not cooling properly...(our first room didn't even have a room number on the door or wall).... and we hoped the other room would be better but it wasn't. The a/c was blowing cold, but the cover was broken and made a rattling sound all night... also, there were 3 random metal covers screwed into different places on the ceiling that appeared to have water damage around them... I guess it was their way of covering the holes. They state that they have a restaurant and bar/lounge....while they do have a limited breakfast buffet for 3 hrs in the morning, they do not take orders like a restaurant and the bar/lounge is there but not in use/open. I'm in no way a hotel snob, but this was pretty bad. I don't mind staying in a cheap hotel, but I've stayed in far cheaper hotels that were nicer than this one. So, why would I not stay in the hotel? Let me count the reasons. 1. The doors at the end of the hallways were left open to the outside overnight! And the neighborhood was not 5 star. I actually […] went around and shut the doors. That's definitely a security issue. I was glad I was travelling with my family for security. 2. Everything was SO outdated or broken. Security cameras falling out of the ceiling, old plastic plants, stained carpet... yuck. 3. I wouldn't shower in the shower. It was pretty gross. There was hair and the tub was stained/discolored. 4. The pillows were really tiny and not comfortable. 5. I think the hotel was under renovation, but that's still no reason to not have it clean. 6. The carpet and wallpaper was peeling off the floors/walls. 7. The shady pool was closed (darn). 8. The breakfast.... oh the breakfast. It was in a closed restaurant that would have been considered outdated 15 years ago. There was nothing fresh. Everything was packaged. I ate packaged, generic instant oatmeal. Yum. 9. There was mold or something on the corners of the ceiling. The walls were separating from the ceiling. 10. Parts of the curtains were falling off the rods. Any redeeming qualities, you might ask? As frequent road-trippers, we're used to highway hotels and have pretty basic standards. This place however was disgusting. It was dim and dingy and our non-smoking floor reeked of stale smoke. The carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Overall one of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed.

The hotel has recently been purchased by new owners. They inherited a hotel in very poor condition. Tiles broken in bahroon, tissues shoved in a hotel in the wall, hole in wall between bedroom and bathroom, stains on the walls, lights that have no plugs but need extension cords, case good that look like they were ulled from the goodwill dumpster. The […] hotel had a free braksfact at 6:30 and when I knocked at 6:25 no one was there. Behind me came the restaurant manager asking me if I can read the sign that says 6:30? Started with people in lobby harrassing you to take you on a tour of area, hallways smelled musty, TV in room did not work, maintenance did not show when problem with TV was reported...they actually left buiding to go home and front desk did not tell me....just left me waiting. Requested to change rooms and it smelled of cigarette smoke (non-smoking […] room), asked to change again and next non-smoking room also smelled of smoke. The previous reviews said that the hallways stank of smoke; they were right: My wife asked if we indeed got a non-smoking room as we were walking to our room.
