I travel alone so the hotel was just right for me clean small but comfy ,very helpful staff and easy access to all main sight s loved my stay and would certainly recommend villa glori

DO NOT DRIVE RENTAL CAR IN THIS AREA!! The streets are so narrow, many one-way, you might have to fight tickets because it's a restricted area (although tourists are allowed to drive there, tickets are automatically sent to all license plates). The hotel is in the middle of town but thats all it has going for it. The rooms are tiny and the bath rooms are tinnier. Unless your going to stay by yourself don't book this. The staff are all not accommodating so thats not much of a help too.

Hotel extremly freindly and certainly make you welcome, but with only a minimal breakfast and not a lot of food locations, you need to travel to get somthing to eat. No coffee making facilities in teh room. This is rated at 4 star, realisitically a fair 3 star would be more of a rating

I love how it's close by to the trams. Easy to reach the Metro station to get around the city. The rooms are small though. The elevator is so tiny we can barely fit our luggages in there. And on the day we're supposed to check out, the elevator died so we have to carry all our stuff from the stairs. A lovely hotel, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but only 5 minutes on the tram to the city centre. The rooms and hotel itself were spotless and decorated beautifully. The cab fare from airport was 50 euros but depending on luggage you can catch a train to main terminal and then use the metro and tram to get to the hotel. Hotel states 10 miles from airport but the taxi fair was 50 euro and was not ten miles. The rooms were tiny but clean. Bed was very hard, after a day sight seeing you want a nice bed to sleep in, so sleepless night not good. Also they dont stock an iron and ironing board, as it is too dangerous? Using the internet also is expensive.

Hotel Villa Glori is situated about 15 mins walking distance from the Flaminio Station, so very easy to locate on arrival and even better for visiting the sites. The tram stops just meters away from the hotel and drops you outside the station in less than 5 minutes. Although the rooms are small, they are very clean, warm (I was there in December) and comfortable. As stated in other reviews, there are no tea/ coffee facilities in the room and also only 2 english speaking channels on the TV, both of which are news channels. Breakfast was satisfactory although continental, so no fried food or baked beans available. Internet access is available, if like me you choose not to carry your laptop, but be aware that it is not cheap. I booked airport transfers with expedia as part of my booking and it was at lease 60% cheaper than taking a taxi direct from the hotel or picking one up at the airport. Receptionists were really helpful with city information and local's habits. Room was clean, and breakfast is outstanding. Even though breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am, sometimes you can get it afterward at no extra cost =). They have no iron in the room nor in the hotel.

This hotel is beautiful, the staff is very helpful and the the room was great, as well as the breakfast the next morning. Ok location. About an 8min walk to the Piazza del Popolo (sp?). Unfortunately the #2 Tram was under construction which lead to us walking a bit more down to the Piazza. The Metro Train is right there though which is nice. The #2d Tram goes right to the Vatican from right outside the hotel (maybe a 15min ride). Bus stop is right outside the hotel also […] so you can get anywhere for 1.5 Euros.
