Super 8 Motel Eastland - Eastland

It was pretty much what I expected for the price. Only slept , there so it was fine. Proprietors friendly and helpful. I'll stay there again some time.

Mattresses had stains on em that looked like blood, in quantities that would seem like someone had been killed there. A/C only worked well in the evening, but didn't cool during the day. This place is perfect for an overnight stay. If your going East or West, drive a little further and save some money by staying here.

For the price, I honestly didn't expect that much, but this location outperformed. Staff was friendly, the location was right where I needed it.

This is right next to the highway and so it can be real noisy. There weren't any other guest so I can't judge how soundproof the rooms would be in that instance. Also at breakfast they had a waffle maker but nothing to put in it, a bring your own batter type situation. I was there for a funeral so the hotel was the least of my concern. It is definitely not a "luxury "hotel but was a good for the price we paid. The shower was not too clean so I opted out since I was there < 24 hrs. The wireless and heater worked. It was conveniently located and the restaurant next door has good food and friendly service.

I got my room and had no eltricty... I stayed several days and sent my towels with house keeper expecting to get some right back so I could make a meeting and the owner seemed to be upset when I asked for towels so I could get dressed. Check out time is eleven and the keener called at 10:00 asking if I was leaving or staying another night, I could see […] if it was close to 11 am but it was not. Probably wouldn't stay there again. The service was not good, 10pm another guest walks into my room, front desk had rented him my room. I had a business meeting the following morning at 8am, I set a 6:30am wake up call which never came, resulting in me being 30min late. Not good for my business. When we pulled in the outside didnt impress me. Luckily it was a case of not judging the book by the cover. The inside was very clean and roomy. My only complaint was that the towels were very thin and worn.

I've stayed at Super 8's across the United States...none as poor a quality and old as this one. Non smoking must be a pie in the sky, as this place seemed to only have smoky old rooms. Two of two faucets were broken, the heater did not work, and a nice friendly roach was all dried up inside the hair dryer. Plumbing in sink needs attention i.e. Stopper. Bathroom door close right nor lock. Need new door fixtures, Shiwer head is ABOUT 8" TO LOW OK FOR PERSONS JUST OVER 5'

I stayed here for a quick night. I literally was in and out within 7 hours. It was right off the highway. It had some convenient nearby amenities, but also some scary people were walking around.

The motel is fairly old, but it's clean and seems to be in good repair. For people travelling to or from Ft Worth/Dallas, it is well away from the traffic of that area, but is only about two hours from DFW. The desk clerk was very friendly. One nice touch: a Belgian waffle maker in the shape of Texas.
