This is a beautiful hotel. We were looking for an escape from San Francisco for a romantic weekend and this was it. It was great to get out of the city's cold weather, and just a short drive to an escape. This is a very nice hotel and it does have a beautiful Spanish feel.

Stayed here with my significant other and the hotel was great! Rooms were nice, beds were super comfortable and our room overlooked the courtyard. The hotel is very hip and has a great location next to lots of restaurants and night life. However, the walls do not insulate well and you can hear the music coming across from far off. The staff is very friendly and free breakfast was good.

Clean, quiet, stylish hotel in a great area for shopping, dining and cocktails. The bed was super comfortable, room nicely appointed, continental breakfast was top-notch and the toiletries fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel. On Santana Row. Great for shopping and fine dining. Also great to walk around, different types of restaurants, bars, shopping. Even a movie theatre.

Excellent location, great attentative staff, plenty of things to see and do. Parking can be challenging, recommend parking across street in public parking structure (for free), hotel will give you a parking holder to place on dashboard.

If you want a super classy, high-roller place, go to SF or HK. If you have to be in SJC, this isn't bad. The Irish pub around the block plays mostly hip-hop for some reason.

Overall we were pleased with the hotel. It has a great location on Santana Row. Hallways need work. They feel old and lacking compared to the rooms. We were upgraded to an exec suite. Big bathroom and big tub were a plus.

I really thought the location of the hotel is it's highlight. So many things to do within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants tourist attractions all so close. Excellent location, easy to Valet my car. Lots of shops, music and restaurants. Nice king bed. very comfortable, WOW! Close to everything at Santana Row. Well sound proof room, I had a balcony room facing H&M (opening night) loud when opened doors but quite when shut. Thanks for the morning breakfast.

It's a great location if you like to go dining, shopping, and people watch within walking distance. It's located smack in the middle of Santana Row (above Blow Fish Sushi). Great hotel rooms. You can order appetizers/drinks at the pool, which was nice. The hot tub was a good size. Great location for shopping and dining. If room faces inside courtyard, be prepared for sounds from outside dining and partying below on weekends. Breakfast buffet was great and bed was comfortable. Lighting for older folks may be a bit dark for reading but nice for ambiance.

The pool was ridiculously small and we were the only people with a child. Kind of strange and uncomfortable since I think we were the only peiple there WITHOUT a tattoo. The visit was all positive. The only negitive is the parking garage. you have to walk a little ways. Unless of course you get vallet parking then it is a complete 5 hotel...I enjoyed our stay and will definitley return.

I spent four nights in the Hotel Valencia. The front desk individuals were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well-appointed and a nice size. I didn't make use of the mini-bar area as the items were extremely pricey. I walked over to the Safeway and purchased my water from them for less than half the cost. The security and accessibilty […] of the hotel made me feel very safe. From 10pm to 6am you had to have a room key to access the hotel lobby as well as the upstairs rooms. The VBar area was lively in the evenings and again plenty of security men were visible. The cost of the cocktails there were comparable to the restaurants in the area. The courtyard was closed at a decent time, and people were asked to go into the bar area so that the rooms that opened to the courtyard were not disturbed. My room was on the 7th floor (only 7 floors) and overlooked both the courtyard and the pool. I had no difficulty sleeping. I made daily use of the fitness facility and the pool; both areas were well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was nicely done and a variety of food was well presented. The valet parking was $24, but you can park for free in the nearby parking garages. You just need to have the Hotel Valencia paper visible on your console.
