The room was okay, somewhat small. Clean sheets and comfy bed was most important, which they had. The price for a weekday evening was a bit high. I would book again if in a pinch but am sure I could find something $20-$30 cheaper for same type of room given time to research. Location wasn't anything special.

No major complaints. The rooms were a bit small and outdated. The breakfast was fair. Staff was pleasant. The best attribute was the very large pool-one of the largest I have seen for this type of hotel.

Very disappointed when couldn't change to a bigger room. Was unaware that reservation was only for one king size bed, when I had 3 people on the reservation. Didn't realize there would be absolutely no room for customer service for Super 8!!!

the heating unit was very load the fan came on and off all night and couudnt sleep guess I needed a few more beers before I went to bed and have the packers win would of been nice

We returned here on an annual family visit as we previously found the place nicely renovated, staff pleasant, and place clean. Good for the money. The purpose of our stay was to attend an afternoon wedding for our niece. It was during the last weekend of Octoberfest, and we wanted to stay somewhere comfortable without noise. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and the bed provided a great night's sleep!

We rented a jacuzzi suite in the super 8 in LaCrosse WI. There was hair in both of the tubs and urine on the bathroom floor and the toilet seat. I would think the room was not even cleanned except the bed was made. By far the worst hotel visit I had.

The room was clean and attractive. Lots of extras like a refrigerator, microwave, coffe, brand new flat TV, hair dryer, etc. Pool and Jacuzzi in the building and a continetal breakfast to boot. Does have an exercise room, too.

The room was comfortable and clean, the A/C DEFINITELY worked. I just didn't feel it was a nice enough place to justify the price. All in all, it was fine though. The continental breakfast was terrible. Cereal, instant oatmeal, and frozen waffles. At least get a waffle maker and something with protein, like hard boiled eggs or something.

This was a poor layout with the sink right where the door opens to the hallway. The room was clean and we found a nice place for dinner reccommended by staff. Pool was nice. We went out for breakfast.

Hotel was a bit out of the way from all sites. Situated next to a trailer park, and a bit of a shaby neighborhood. Rooms were clean, friendly staff, amenities were great. Room felt humid even with air running all the time.

Our 3 year old daughter loved the pool and the continental breakfast. We stayed during a very busy season, so we expected the hotel to be a little noisy. On the contrary, it was nice and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. The free wi-fi was a bit slow, but it's free. All in all, everybody slept well and that's what counts.

View is not all that super but by the same token, your window is not facing the main street and you don't hear cars going by all night like some cheaper hotels I've stayed at. The hotel sits at a T to the street so both sides face other buildings.

Very clean except for a couple of hairs in the bathroom sink. Nicely decorated. No weird smells. Walls are a bit thin – we could hear pretty much everything in the adjoining room and were glad when they finally called it a night at midnight. We loved that the hotel was close to the Mississippi since we were there for a bass fishing tournament. Rooms were satisfactory and breakfast was okay, I would have liked to see eggs included - hard-boiled or scrambled are often present at other hotels. I've stayed at this hotel before and it is always clean and comfortable. I like the pool area - big! We only stayed in LaCrosse overnight on our way to Minnesota and chose this hotel because it is a great deal for the price.

the pictures are decieving. tho the place 'looks' appealing, it's really just a phasod for an average to below average place to stay. hallways are loud, doors slam, hard to sleep with out background noise. fan in bathroom from 1970 or earlier. it was just the quality i know super 8 to be. not my style.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I think the continental breakfast could be improved and the remote in our room only had volume/channel up/down buttons. It was frustrating not to have the numbers on it. Considering these were my only complaints we had a very enjoyable stay.

For the pricing, this is a great place to stay. The air conditioning was somewhat annoying in that it blows the air right over the bed, so my eyes got dried out a lot while I was sleeping. When we got into our room I noticed a big glob of hair in the shower drain. I checked out the toilet & it was filthy! We went to the front desk to ask if someone could clean the bathroom & the girl said someone would take care of it. We left for awhile & when we got back the hair was out of the drain but the feces was STILL on the toilet rim. REALLY?!? […] Very disguisting. I will never stay at a Motel 8 again! Stayed 4 nights. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout my stay. The breakfast was decent (your typical continental breakfast). The room had a microwave and fridge. The bed was more comfortable than my one at home! Will definitely stay there again.

Hotel looked decent and mostly clean. However, the rooms must have been airtight, because if I didn't run the air conditioning it was very musty, and it didn't top 50 degrees outside. The room was very nice, the whole place has been recently remodeled, our only two problems were slow to no wireless internet service and showers that would not stay warm. The front desk was alerted to both problems and were friendly about trying to fix them, but no luck in doing so during our stay.

This Super 8 was very well run. The lobby, hallways and rooms were clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. Good location between I-90 and downtown LaCrosse. Neighborhood around the hotel was nice.
