Budget Inn Nassawadox - Nassawadox

The hotel was basic. It was not as clean as it could have been. I cleaned a stain off the bathroom wall. The staff was not friendly nor were they helpful. They knew very little about the surrounding area.

Asked for non-smoking ,queen- got smoking, double bed. Problem with fliesand odor in room. Office called our room promply at 11am demanding to know if we were checking out and Stripped our room while we were loading the car.

I must admit reading previous negative reviews I was concerned about staying at this hotel. I decided to give it a try & I was pleasantly surprised, the hotel was clean, odor free, quite, check in person "Mary" was kind, helpful, nice & very friendly. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very run down, smells. My family which took 3 rooms received obsene phone calls through the night and kept us up.Lots of noise in room above us, sounded like they were bowling. We had to report this to manager. TV did not work, had to get fixed. Refrigerator had wire to plub in running behind bathroom sink faucet which I think was an electrical […] hazard. Advertised there was a pool, there was none. Very shady characters hanging around, looked like a welfare hotel. Never again will we stay at an Americas Best Value Inn anywhere. Friendly staff. Easy to reach, just next to the motorway. No pool, no jacuzzi. Rather expensive for the remote location on Virginia's eastern shore.

I have stayed at this hotel before and I was very pleased with the room. It was close enough to where my church function was being held so that my travel time was only a few minutes. I will use this hotel again if I need to stay in that area.
