Got to hotel late at night and VERY tired. First thing noticed was a cockroach crawling on the bed. Killed it and just had to sleep. In a.m. noticed there was black mold on the pillow. The mattress was actually broken, sunk in to nearly touching the floor and creaked loudly. There was no security lock. The bottoms of the doors were rusted. There was […] a hole in the bathroom wall the size of a fist. There was no "do not disturb sign." There was an old cathode ray tube tv with only off the air channels. There were no wash towels. Asked for them and they said they ran out. Just a terrible, terrible experience. We overheard the front desk clerk talking to someone on the phone saying the owner lives in Orlando and only comes in once in a while. And it shows. Neither he nor anyone else there cares enough. If you're low maintenance and are looking to just hang out but the beach at a very cheap price. I would recommend it. At $50 a night it was perfect for what I wanted it for, rest and be near the beach. There is a pool as well, it was a little dirty. The beach made up for it. Good location and price. Stripper party the day we arrived was pretty funky. Room condition was just fair. Thank heaven we had an ocean view or it would have really sucked! My experience here was not a good one. Not only were the rooms dirty. The microwave didn't work. The tv kept shutting off. The closet door was broke. The mattress was filthy and stained. The sheets had sand in them when we got there. We found someone's wallet in the room. The first night there was a drinking party right outside of room from the people […] staying next to us. We woke up to beer bottles everywhere and vomit all over our outdoor furniture. We couldn't even let the children outside to play because if this. It only took the staff 2 hours to come clean it up. But they didn't do it very well. When talking to one of the staff members about the vomit in the sand, he replied, the birds will clean that up. How nasty!!! The first day we stayed the toilet was not working correctly at all. when the second guy came to look at it...he was rude!!! He asked what I put in the toilet and kept plunging. Water was all over the seat and floor... He just walked out and said nothing. Left his mess there for us to clean up. When telling the front desk of this....they did nothing. No lock or handle on sliding patio door, no tub mat, painted wallpaper peeling from wall staff was friendly buti would never stay again due to the seriously miserable condition of the property. The continental breakfast in the dining rm had darkened moldy ceiling panels all over the ceiling, actually pretty disgusting. The staff was friendly

This hotel is a complete fail house. There were holes in the wall, mold on the ceiling, no lid on the back of the toilet, a broken security bar on the door, and significant stains on the sheets of the mattress. On top of this there was no working lock on the 'lobby' door, which meant that anyone could come or go from the building. Now I like a dive […] motel, and have stayed at a lot of those such places, but this by far has to be the worst I've ever been to. Additionally, we were going to a conference that weekend, and this was an 11pm check in for us. The staff was rude, and seemed to be upset that we were bothering them at all. Then the next day the lobby guest staff was calling guests to give them complimentry gifts for staying that day, yet when I asked if we could get one of the cheap little coupon books for having stayed, I was told that it was only for people staying at the 'resort' overnight, despite having paid for a full night already. The only redeeming quality was the fact that this place was right on the beach. Even the bar was closed in the mid afternoon when we were there. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me. Đọc thêm

The hotel has a lot of potential, but is the housekeeping does not do their job (my room was dirty and smelly). The hotel also need some UPDATED MATRESSES. Old, deteriorated matreses, as well as the sheets. MANAGEMENT, PLEASE DO YOUR JOB!! This hotel has a GREAT LOCATION AND BIG ROOMS why would you let such small things chase away your clientele.

The hotel was so filthy, it smelled dirty since we got it the lobby, the room smelled like dirt also it was so old, the bathroom was disgusting, didn't want to use the toilet, the bathtub was al rusted, had to take a shower with flip flops and the water didn't drain, the water was all packed up!!! We are never staying there again!!!!!!

Hallways were filled with a heavy smell of bleach. The door was in such a bad shape that closing and locking was always a hassle. Stayed there for a night, but did not sleep well, because of loud voices in the hallway and constant door slamming until 6:00am! The only good thing was the proximity to the beach.

When we walked into the room, we noticed that two of the pillow cases hadn't been changed after the previous hotel guest left. We called housekeeping and they sent someone with clean pillow cases and just handled it to us, instead of changing them. Then we noticed that the bed sheets were full of holes, but didn't bother to call back, because they would […] have probably handled us another one and we didn't feel like having to change the bed sheets ourselves. During the three days we stayed there, not once they came to our room to clean it. They just put a bag with clean towels and some toiletry in the door nob and left it there. The room had a big hole in the wall, covered with a piece of paper and painted over. You could see many cracks in the wall. We left the hotel before staying overnight. The pool was dirty, the advertised poolside bar was closed down, there were no wash cloths or small towels in the restroom. All in all, not what I have come to expect from hotels.com properties.

I wasn't expecting much from this hotel considering I booked it the same day. Theyneed to seriously consider updating their rooms. Not to increase the price, but so the customer can have comfort that their room is clean and fresh. This should be especially important because of the bed bugs outbreak sweeping vacation cities.

your in college, you want a great location on the beach close to nightlife, a place to drink, sun and sleep...this is a great place...but if your on business and think your going to find a nice quiet location to take a nap, get some rest and get some work done....forget it

I suppose for the cost it wasn't that bad. However you might be better off renting an apartment for the same price which is what we ended up doing. We stayed during march so of course there were loud and drunk teenagers playing terrible music by the pool; the walls were paper thin and you could hear them, and someone's dog the entire night. As far as […] the room goes it was alright, there was some loose carpeting which I tripped on. Also the shower drain was covered in rust and looked very dirty. The cleaning arrives early, since we were still sleeping I told the women we didn't need her service and gave her our dirty towels, she said she would come back with clean ones but never did. On anther occasion there was no knock and the cleaning woman opened our door completely while we were still sleeping. Not all the rooms of this property have balconies, only the backside of both buildings. The restaurant on the picture is gone and vacant. The poolside bar and grill is also closed down, and the general overall condition of the property is run down and in need of remodeling.

It's a little run down, but fine for those who aren't fussy about their hotel and just want to enjoy the beach and the many things to do in the area. It's very conveniently located right across the street from a mall with a pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants etc, and a short walk to the awesome Aruba Beach Cafe and other great restaurants. The beach, […] right behind the hotel, was lovely. The service was good and friendly, breakfast is decent. There are two buildings, one right on the beach and the other across the road. We hadn't known and had booked the other one, and we didn't have a balcony. When we got there to check in there was one person to man the desk and she had to do the check ins and answer the phone. It took her 15-20 minutes to check in each person. The fromt lobby looked like it was under construction but they stopped after ripping stuff out. When we got to our room it smelled so strongly of bleach that it made our eyes water, […] we opened the "balcony door" and there was no screen and no balcony just a railing. The TV had no remote control and when we tried to call the front desk the phone did not work, We went back down to the lobby and when I told the girl at the desk that there was no remote and our phone did not work she wrote us down on a list and said someone would be up. The curtains were also falling off of the rod. The expedia site said there is a coffee maker in each room but our room did not have one, I didn't ask for one because nothing would have made me drink the water in this place. The room did have a refrigerator but the little freezer section had about 8 inches of frost. We left the bathroom light on all night but I still had to wake my husband at 1 am because when I got out of bed there was a roach on the wall. They finally showed up to give us a tv remote and fix the telephone about 4 hours after we checked in. It took the guy 15 minutes to figure out which remote to give us. Well. There are so really rude and horrible reviews about this hotel. That said, I think you expect worse when you read into these. Always make a place your own. I always make it a point to be FRIENDLY! Some of the people expect too much. These people who work here are great with what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Rude people get rude results.. […] True story! A little kindness goes a long way. Phylicia was an absolute jem at the front desk! She made sure I had a room I could live with(claustrophobia issues) and was happy I liked her choice. The rooms are not perfect , But add your own touches for budget at the beach you get a great place! I always have candles, and febreeze and my own sheet... I know sounds nutty, but I sleep better that way. I had no problems with anyone here, and they always were quick to get what we needed. As fast as they could. Remember you get what you put out... Some great places to eat are Carina's AWESOME Italian , Also Pa D's and Burger Fi, I never did go to the continental breakfast.. Instead went to Dunkin Donuts every day and was greeted every day with a smile. They were glad to see us again and again. I will go back there for sure... Everything about the place was great except that their were no towels in the room and the batteries in the remote died. When we went to ask the front desk they said they couldn't get the batteries because the maintenance guy had just left for the night.

I stayed here for one night and couldn't wait to leave. I was charged $10 for an early check in fee which was only an hour or so early. Get to the room and its really shabby and in bad shape. Bathroom towels were old and dirty looking. Bed was very bad. Tv. has hardly any channels. Location is in crowded part of the beach so driving is a headache. No […] upsides to staying at this hotel. The only thing going for this hotel was location. It was one short block to the beach. The room had a completely rusty refrigerator with broken shelves, big holes in the bedroom and the ceiling of the bathroom moldy shower, well-worn carpet, etc. The breakfast room was very dark (probably to hide the condition of this space) and offered almost nothing […] to eat. We left without eating anything and were happy to leave. Even the elevator was covered with graffiti and had a big gap when the door closed, not covering all of the elevator shaft.
