I am happy of staying at Chisun Hotel Shinsaibashi. Great location for food and shopping areas. Just 4 mins walk to Shinsaibashi Shopping areas. Room is a bit small. Clean room and areas. Room has no WiFi. WiFi only available at lobby. Only WLAN cable available in room. Overall, happy to come back again for next visit to Osaka.

We recently stayed in two separate Chisun Hotels, 1 in Hiroshima and another here in Osaka. the Hiroshima one was excellent value for money considering how clean and new it was, but here in Osaka, the room and bath room was worn / old and smelt of damp. generally not to our expectation after the good experience in Hiroshima.

Very clean and comfortable. The hotel was attended to with typically outstanding Japanese level of service. I had a room with a double bed but it would be a cosy squeeze for two people. This also connects through to Shinsaibashi Station on the Mido-suji line. It is a short walk above ground to Shinsaibashi, Mido-suji (Avenue), Amemura, Dotombori and Namba. It was awesome! A great location and although the room was smallish, it was bigger than expected as far as an economically sized room in Japan would go. reasonable price for a great location in Osaka within walking distance to lots of restaurants and night spots and shopping. Near the subway and easy to find the location. Near 24hr shop & restaruants and supermarket. Easy to sleep because the room is quiet and comfort. Bathroom is so small. Window cannot be open so the condition depends on the circulation system. I feel that the attitude of hotel staff is not so good.

Stayed 7 nights with my partner at Chisun Hotel (SEMI-DOUBLE). The best part of hotel is its location. Very conveniently located by the NAGAHORIBASHI station (subway) but can walk easily in appox 5-7 min to SHINSAIBASHI (subway-midosuji -line). Direct 3 stops to UMEDA OSAKA (JR) and SHINOSAKA (shinkansen) station. The hotel entrance is by the North 2 exit of CRISTA NAGAHORI (one of many underground shopping malls in Japan) that has a lot of reasonable restaurants and seven-eleven 24/7 convenience store. Please try TONKATSU (deep-fried pork) SET at restaurant WAKO. You will love it! You can reach to SHINSAIBASHI station via walking through CRISTA NAGAHORI and also link to EBISUBASHI -DORI, many shops and restaurants. The room is basic, clean and everything works fine (that is expected in Japan anyway). Staffs are very helpful and polite. The room size was a bit of small side even in comparison with similar hotels in Osaka I am familiar with and wished for more space for two adults with 2 suitcases! The restroom has a western style toilet with razor, toothbrush (tiny toothpaste included;bring your own toothpaste), comb, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, facial soap, towels and half sized bath tub. There are a hair dryer, cups, water pot (good to boil water and make tea) and TV(all japanese channels;no english). you can have clean linens everyday if you want. It was quiet at night. However,although it was not too bothersome, at my room, I could hear some chatting voice through wall and from the hallway when people were passing by. The staff seemed to have a good customer training. There's no safe (may keep your money with you). You need to give your room key to hotel front staff whenever you go outside. When you ask your key to go to your room at front desk, you just need to tell your name to a front desk (no staff asks any ID).
