The hardest bed I ever slept in - like sleeping on cement! The sheets smelled funny, even though they seemed clean. The room was also very dark, lighting not very good, and when I arrived at night I couldn't figure out how to put the lights on, and since it was so dark out, there was no light for me to figure it out, It would have been nice if they […] had just mentioned it to me at the desk, I was able to flag down another guest in the hallway that explained to me that there was a slot near the door to insert your room card, never would have seen it on my own! Also, the room VERY tiny, although I didn't really mind that, it may be an issue for some.I sprung for the breakfast - not included-because I was starving, and have to say, it was very good, although once you get your bearings it's easy to find a cafe nearby that's about half the price. The hotel is some distance from the city center,the metro is pretty close and idiot proof, but walking back is pretty steep uphill. There was no tub, only very small shower although hot water was good, towels were scrtatchy and no toiietries.You have to ask for a safe key, and they get a 20 euro deposit, after coming back from an overnight in Sintra fridge was inexplicably locked, and no key, so I just didn't bother, but I had some soda I wanted to put in there. The room was dark, the bathtub was scratched. There was no soap, the hot water wouldn't start for a while. They charge for internet downstairs. Staff was rude and I got almost late for the plane because they just would not call for the taxi. Location is bad, too. Not worth the money.

It did the job. Not a bad location, although hilly from the nearby Metro stations. Room was a good size, tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice. The personal who atend the new customers are good, what I dont or dident like was the cleanless of the room. For example: from the first day until last day they never change the clothes of the bed, never vacum the floor and the suply of the bathroom was short. Remember the personel of the reception are very good.

It was my second stay at Amazonia. I find it reasonably priced, clean and well located - a 10-min walk to Principe Real area, 15 min to Bairro Alto and 20 or 25 min walk to Baixa. A few good restaurants with international cuisine within 5 min walking distance.

The hotel is in very poor conditions. Front desk only have one staff to help check in people, very slow and very rude. When we go to our room, the bed was low to the ground, we had to upgrade to a suite, and the room was still bad, tiles cracks everywhere, dirty towles, no toiletry, elevator is small and old took forever to get up to your room, breakfast […] is :( bad. Most of the staff don't speak English. Had problem with my key to the room, I have to call the front desk several times and got attitude from the front desk. With the price we end up paying, could probably get a much nicer room elsewhere. We stayed 4 days in Lisbon and the Hotel was perfect for what we was looking for: close to the tube station and just 15 minutes walking from the city center, clean, comfortable, good service and very worth for the money. Staff really helpful and advised on some great places to eat, and booked attractions for us. The bar staff were great, try the Lisboa Coffee. bar man knew how to make a cocktail too.The hotel was in a good location to get around,but did use the taxis as was up hill. L'hôtel était convenable, bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel avenant et prêt à renseigner. Le petit déjeuner copieux. Hôtel proche du bus 709 et du métro. Restaurant la Traviata proche de l'hôtel recommandé, c'était bon, le cadre était agréable et pas trop cher.

O hotel é bem localizado mais não oferece almoço para poucas pessoas, só para grupos, o que é um absurdo. E cobra a maior tarifa para acesso a Internet que vi nos últimos hoteis que tenho me hospedado (12 euros), quando alguns cobram 5 euros e outros dão de graça.
