My Wife and I stayed 4 nights and had a lovely time. We wanted more than just a base for our city break and in a central location. The Ventana was a great choice. The Hotel is very close to the central square in the old hotel, and within walking distance of the major sites; except the Castle, which requires you walking, catching a taxi or a tram(no.22). The location of the hotel was excellent. A 10 second walk out the door and we were in the Old Town Square. The hotel was very elegant and grand. The rooms were very large and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and new. The white carpets could use a good cleaning, you can visibly see the brown stains and dirt on the […] floor from wear and tear. Also, the pillows were way to big and flat, I had to fold my pillow in half to get a good nights sleep. The shower head leaked at the connection and it was too short for me, I am only 6 feet tall and i had to bend over to fit underneath it. I know that's probably how all showers are in Prague and we're supposed to take it off the stand and hold it above my head, but not being used to doing that was a pain. A perfectly located hotel for a shirt break in Prague. The staff are very attentive and really look after you. The hotel is well run and very clean. This is a five star experience. AMAZING EXPERIENCE The location was great especially because it was a few steps away from Old Town Square and it's right next to the Tyn church so you can practically find the hotel from anywhere by looking for the church's tall towers. We had room 47, which was a two story attic loft room. We had no view, but we did not care too much since there […] are beautiful views outside of the hotel everywhere you go anyway. I basically judge all hotels by their bathrooms and the breakfast service and both were excellent! The bathroom had marble tiles with a deep bath tub, bath robes, slippers, toiletries, and heated floors! The room was kept impeccably clean plus we got 3 free bottles of water every day, which was great since water is very expensive in Prague. The hot breakfast was delicious and had a variety of foods. No complaints there! Lastly, the staff was amazing as well. You were always greeted with a smile whenever you came in and out. I actually had left my cell phone in a cab one night and the guy at the front desk was kind enough to communicate with the cab company and the driver to get my phone back. I loved our stay at the veranda! What a lovely small European boutique hotel! The breakfast was outstanding! The people who worked their were lovely and very helpful. The location was also great. The location and staff were perfect. I was there during the Easter Festival which is very similiar to Mardi Gras with very late night revilars. The most quiet rooms are in the front of the hotel, facing the cathederal. The breakfast is fabulous. For comfort of the room, it was hot in the loft and we could not easily work the air conditioning system. But overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They stored our bags for us as we arrived early and left late and booked a taxi to the airport and dinner reservations for us.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Czech airline lost my luggage and I non-stop bugging the front desk to follow up with airline for me, they were patient and polite and never declined my requests. The hotel is close to the attractions and I can just go to most of the sites on foot.

We were most satisfied with the Ventana. Our room was large and well appointed, views out to the old town square and over the church next door, and very reasonably priced given the location. The Ventana is only a minute or so's walk from the town square but manages to be very quiet as well. We would highly recommend it.
