A beautiful spot where a family can get together and avoid the hassles of small details. There is no driving to the hill in the morning or fighting the traffic at the end of the day. Tailgating may be amusing but walking directly out of your room and snowboarding is perfect.

After a perfect day of snowboarding, relaxing in a gigantic hot tub outdoors under the stars with friends is heavenly! Adults and children equally seem to thrive in this friendly environment.

it was an amazing weekend, the snow was excellent (fresh powder every day), the slopes were awesome, and the service was superb. Staying in a Hotel on the Mountain with ski-in/shi-out convenience is the only way to go. We even ended the weekend by skiing to the bottom of the mountain to the base lodge where our bags awaited us and we were able to check […] our rental equipment in there. Simply an amazing experience! Can't say enough about the staff and special treatment you receive on every visit. In addition, the five star dining was fabulous. Topped off with multiple visits to the outdoor hot pool. An unbeatable snowboarding adventure!

Great, beautiful skiing. But warning- you are staying in a hotel that is on the mountain. The gondola runs from the base of the mountain up to the hotel from about 8AM-5PM. This is the only way up the mountain to the hotel. If you want to go to town at night, then you are stuck. The staff is very friendly but not that knowledgeable about traveling […] to town or other local areas (ex: Lake Louise). Staying this high of altitude kept us winded at all times but it is all a give and take of staying on the mountain. Good news is that you get first shot at going up the mountain for skiing when the gondolas open. If you want a ski-only-get-away, then this is your hotel. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly; the staff is from all over so its neat hearing about the warm places they come from but choose to be here in the cold haha. However we found the resturant staff very slow at coming back to take orders, refilling water, or even bringing the bill (it wasnt even that busy) For the price we found the room was […] very small and we didnt have a veiw of anything, but it did the job. Stay right on the slopes up above 7,000 feet, very quiet and secluded after 5 PM since this is the only place to stay, and there is no access to the hotel once the gondola stops (typically at 5 PM). Clean hotel, food is pretty good, staff very helpful and friendly, beautiful views, lovely outdoor hot tub.
