Hotel Aurora - Milan

The hotel was centrally located between the train station and the duomo, close to many shops and restaurants.

I would recommend the Aurora to everyone! The location is perfect -- it's in one of Milan's main streets and about 20 feet from one of Milan's major metro stops. Despite this, I had no problems with noise outside. My room was basically in the reception area so I could hear voices and the television but certainly not at a level that mattered. The staff […] are absolutely wonderful. They are ALL very friendly and very kind. While there isn't any food service in the hotel, there are MANY places to eat just outside. Good points: The hotel is in a great central location; the owner was friendly, ordered us taxis, gave us directions and let us keep our luggage in the hotel as we had a late return flight. He also gave us a voucher for free coffee and croissants at a cafe next door. Bad points: There is no sound proofing - the shower going on in the next room woke […] me up early and unfortunately a loud Italian woman liked to stand in the corridor shouting down her phone when we were trying to have a siesta. She also came back to the hotel in the early hours of the morning and was banging doors etc. The hotel can't help having noisy, selfish guests but with no sound proofing I got very little sleep over the weekend. The room was very basic with such a tall wardrobe that you needed a hook on a stick to reach things down. There were no bedside lights so you had to have the main (bright) light on to read. The bed was smaller than a double and quite hard as were the pillows. The small ensuite shower room was adequate but the sloping shelf meant anything we put on there slid into the sink. Hotels in Milan are extremely expensive and although this is 'budget' in comparison to many, I don't feel we really got value for money. This hotel is right on the main road where major fashion labels (including H&M) are located and in a safe area in Milan. It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and about a 20-30 minute leisurely walk to the duomo and the high-end shopping strip where stores like Bottega Veneta, Prada, Gucci, Chanel are located. Very satisfied with the service provided. Carmine who is on duty most of the time has been very helpful and takes the initiative to recommend us places to go to and provides more than is required. Best hotel service I have experienced in all my years of travelling. Thumbs up!

Comfortable, clean, very well located. Nice, helpful staff. As in any hotel, noisy neighbors can be a problem but we were lucky to have respectful neighbors. Five minute walk from two subway stations. Neighborhood is busy during the day but quiet and safe at night. Right in front of Grom gelato which closes very late.

The hotel is located right next to Porta Venezia metro station from where you can easily move to tourist attractions, e.g. Duomo metro station is only 3 stops away. Hyggeligt lille familiehotel. Søde mennesker og god service. Værelset perfekt størrelse. Rent og pænt. Ligger meget centralt. Ingen morgenmad, men der er mange hyggelige cafeer i nærheden. Kan stærkt anbefales.

こじんまりとしたホテルですが、お部屋は清潔にまとまっており、好感が持てました。暖房器具に囲いがしてあったり、部屋の収納もたくさんあったり、使いませんでしたが、毛布が置いてあったり、狭いながらもバスルームには椅子が置いてあったり、使い勝手を考えた気配りが随所に感じられました。シャワーのお湯もたっぷり使え、何一つ不自由に感じることはありませんでした。またフロントの方もテキパキと仕事をこなしていて、とても親切で助かりました。余計なものはなくても、安く泊まれて快適に過ごしたいという人には最適のホテルだと思います。

밀라노 중앙역에서도 너무 멀고 시설도 별로임, 냉장고조차 준비되어 있지 않고 금고 없고 침대는 마치 간이침대마냥 너무 가볍고 매트리스도 별로임. 2일 일정으로 갔으나 하루만에 참지 못하고 다른 호텔로 이동함

入住之前寫 e-mail去詢問過幾個問題，都很快就回信了，態度很好。在熱鬧的corso de buenos aires上，有許多可逛街的地方，離地鐵站也很近。

Et hyggeligt lille hotel med meget serviceminded personale. Beliggenheden var god mht. trafikmidler og der var et stort udvalg af caféer og restauranter næsten lige uden for døren. Så det gjorde ikke noget at der ikke var morgenmads servering. Kan anbefales

Das Hotel liegt am Corso Buenos Aires, einer der Hauptstraßen Mailands. Hier ist es sehr gut erreichbar mit Metro, Bus oder Tram (max. 3min zu Fuß!). Doch trotz der guten Lage ist es ruhig gelegen, auf der zur Hauptstraße abgewandten Seite, somit kann man auch ohne Krach mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Es gab einen TV mit ein paar Sendern, eine sehr leise […] Klimaanlage und die Zimmer werden täglich und wirklich gründlich geputzt. Einzig etwas störend sind die etwas hellhörigen Zimmer, hier kann man Glück oder Pech mit den Nachbarn haben, aber das Risiko hat man ja überall. Under vår resa i Italien bodde vi på allt från 1-4 stjärniga hotell. Aurora som hade den lägsta stjärnan hade även bland den bästa standarden och trevligaste personalen. Stort, trevligt rum med den tystaste ac vi träffat på! Hjälpsam personal dygnet runt och bra läge, mitt emellan Domkyrkan och centralstationen. Här kommer vi bo nästa gång vi besöker […] Milano.
