This is a Time Share property, however there was no pressure to attend a sales presentation. There was simply an invitation. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend this property especially for a week or so stay.

Stayed at OBBR for a week with 7 and 3 year old kids. The resort is in good shape overall. A lot of older guests that own timeshares. The pool was great for the kids. The beach was very easily accessible. Handful of lunch and dinner options on property. Stay away from Big Fish, disappointing food and overpriced. grocery store within walking distance […] was huge help. Very friendly staff but room cleaning and fresh towels didn't happen very quickly so we just stopped by front desk every night for new towels. It was lovely. The beach is the best at this location. Staff were almost all very friendly. Concierge was excellent!! She could not do enough for you! The location is out of the way from the rest of the island which is perfect if that is your desire. Oyster Bay has a few new restaurants that were delicious!

We booked a last-minute overnight at Oyster Bay (en route to our final destination on another island) and really enjoyed it. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the beach. But most of all the concierge and front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. Thank you!

We stayed at this hotel for a few days before our yacht charter with SunSail. Great cozy hotel with panoramic views from hotel pool on Oyster Pond Marina entrance and St Barts.

loved the setting with stunning ocean and marina views, spectacular pool (but no chairs to sit in--all occupied) , excellent onsite restaurant., courteous staff But long check in lines, and did not get the room we thought (hotel response: "nothing I can do about that") , trying to sell condos seems like a primary purpose, bedside lamp and TV remote […] did not work (both fixed upon request). So gave a middle of the road rating to reflect both positive and negative experiences. We stayed there for a week. Our room location, closeness to the ocean, view were super. The room was quite clean and well equipped. Room size is bit small though, particularly the bathroom size. Quality of the staff can be better. Sometime the room was not cleaned fully. The follow-up on phone calls were not the best. Restaurants are just about OK […] from the food quality point of view but service was good. Three eating places just outside the resort are quite good. Activity desk people were very helpful. Our room was very clean. I would suggest requesting an ocean view room, as the view is beautiful. Very nice pool and some kind of fun event at hotel every day. Also, a couple of restaurants, spa and small grocery store very close by.

Oyster Bay Resort is a great hotel located on Dawn Beach on the Dutch side in St. Maarten. Recently renovated, the ocean view rooms are picturesque with newly updated kitchen and bathroom amenities. The infinity pool is one of the nicest on the island.

This hotel/time share has a very high repeat clientele. Great pool, Dawn Beach is wonderful for swimming, many restaurants and bars within walking distant and onsite. The housekeeping staff was exceptional and the onsite spa, laundry, and gift shop were great assets. We were in-transit between villas on our 3 week stay in St. M and needed a one night stay to bridge the gap between 2 different villas (one was on the French side that uses Saturday to Saturday; the second was near Oyster Pond/Dawn Beach that uses Sunday to Sunday), so we lighted at OBBR for one night. Parking is terrible with not enough spaces for […] the number of guests on site. So it was not a good start to the overnight. That being said, one of the staff volunteered to drive my car and find a spot for us (which he did and returned the keys and gave us the location). He also brought us ice for drinks and was very helpful. So the overnight improved markedly. We had dinner on-site....a buffet (my wife and I are not fond of buffets). It was satisfactory, but nothing to WOW you. However, we had the most delicious croissants the next morning at a small grocery store right out side of the gate to the resort, so that was a PLUS. Check-out was early (10:00 a.m.) but our villa was not to be ready til 3:00 p.m. We were able to check out, store our bags, and use the pool facilities until 3:00 without additional charge. Lunch at the bar (BLT's and drinks) were very good, and the service was attentive. Our room faced the ocean and Dawn Beach...just breathtaking. However, the studio room was a bit crowded and in need of restoration. The bathroom was updated, but unfortunately, the bedroom area was not. all in all, we found the resort quite acceptable, but overpriced at the in-season rate. Đọc thêm

i went in the hotel for only 2 days and it was too short. The hotel is located on one end of the island and eslewhere it's visible from the air. That is very nice. Agents reception are very friendly and inform you very well. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. If you have a rental car there is a lot place to park in front of your room.

Just complete 7 days at Oyster Bay beach Resort. While to some it may seem a bit hard to find - right on Dutch/French border on Oyster Pond - we found it to be a great resort with all of the things you would expect at a resort, yet it's location almost on French side gives it a more quite and relaxed atmosphere. it is windy on this eastern side of island […] so be prepared for that, but rooms are good and views over Oyster pond side are fantastic. It is only a short car ride up to Orient Beach, Grand Case, and Marigot , but a rental car is required for sure. Many great french restaurants are within 15 minute drive. I would not say this is a true hotel, it is a time share resort that they have some rooms listed as hotel rooms. The hotel rooms are older, the one I was in was very clean. We also stayed in a time share room for the first week it was new and very nice. First time to St. Maarten. Oyster Bay Beach Resort has an excellent location and seemed like one of the nicest areas on the island. We had a Deluxe studio with a private patio with a great view of the Atlantic and St. Barths. Big Fish nearby was excellent for dinner. We snorkeled with Captain Alan's and saw sea turtle, stingray and dolphins along with colorful fish. Sunset Bay Beach Bar near the airport is a must!!! The views from the top of Pic Paradis are outstanding. You can drive most of the way and a short steep hike to the top. I guess 3 stars aren't what they used to be. This resort was a big disappointment. The pool was filthy. Drinking cups and plastic wrappers floated in the pool daily and there was a constant supply of hair around the filter. The beach was littered with trash and seaweed washing up daily. Could not have made a better decision. Excellent value, incredible location. Enough dining options within walking distance (don't miss Big Fish!) to skip the rental car for a couple of days and enjoy the facilities. Dawn beach is one of the nicest on St. Maartin. upon arrival given a room upon r entry it wqas alreay occuppied. new room smelt of urine and just musty.. booked a boat trip was told would return by 1.00 pm we had to get a boat to return us as it left an hour late and wasnt going to return until 3 pm we had to leave by this time to get a flight out to another island.

We visited St. Martin for our 1st wedding Anniversary. The Oyster Bay Beach Resort was chosen as our place to stay based on the pictures we saw on line. Although the hotel location was perfect, we were really disappointed in our room. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the dining was very good but the room was very outdated and cramped. Air conditioning was definitely lacking and although we saw the rooms being cleaned we didn't feel comfortable to move about in our bare feet. After one night we requested a refund and moved next door to the Westin (a little foo foo but worth it). The staff at Oyster Bay were very nice but we were disappointed in the hassle we had in getting a refund. Took up 1 1/2 days of our vacation, several cab fares, and telephone calls to finally get things straight. We were offered another room but would have to pay even more money. Overall the stay was nice. They tried to offer us a free breakfast for the next morning with some special 2 for deals. But we noticed upon closer inspection that this was to try to sell us a time share. After we declined they did let us alone. Workers very friendly and helpful. Very nice workout room with A/C. The pool was very nice and the room faced […] the ocean. It is a bit out of the way from things. We rented a car and drove all over the island. This I would recommend. Otherwise you could be stuck doing the resort activities and miss the sights. We checked in on a Monday afternoon and checked out on a Sunday morning. Nobody was doing this at those times and so it went very smoothly and quickly. We saw lots of people coming in on Saturday. So if you like not waiting recommend you not check in or out on a Saturday. The hotel restaurant was quite nice. And down the front drive, just a few hundred yards were 2 very nice restaurants and a grocery store. Leider ist der Grossteil des Hotelpersonals in diesem wunderschön gelegenen und gut gepflegten Resort nicht sehr freundlich. Gastfreundlich umsorgt wurden wir selten. Wünsche wurden zwar erfüllt und Anfragen beantwortet, aber oft nur mit spürbar wenig Begeisterung und zum Teil effektiver Unfreundlichkeit. Schade, das Hotel wäre sonst wäre sonst traumhaft. […] Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr grosszügig. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass wir im Hauptteil des Hotels untergebracht wurden wo abends fast immer Unterhaltung geboten wurde (Livemusik) und sich die Gäste auch noch bis spät Abends an der Bar treffen. Dies war oft etwas zu gut hörbar in unserem Zimmer. Wichtiger Punkt für Taucher: Die Tauchbasis ist ca. 15 Autominuten entfernt, uns wurde gesagt, sie wäre direkt vor Ort, damit ist aber wohl gemeint, dass man an der Hotelrezeption Tauchausflüge buchen kann. Die vom Hotel empfohlene Tauchbasis war leider nicht so empfehlenswert. Fragen Sie, welche anderen Basen es noch gibt, denn es gibt gleich neben der "Hoteltauchschule" noch eine andere, die einen wesentlich professionelleren und beliebteren Eindruck machte. Đọc thêm
