Le Saint Aubert - Le Mont-Saint-Michel

My only complaint about this hotel (and I don't know if it was their fault or Hotels.com) is that we couldn't get past the inclosed gate to check in to the place. There is a locked gate on each side of the village and you have to have a code to get in to get to the hotel. The village is poorly signed. We drove around this huge parking lot for 30 minutes […] looking for a way in to the village and to the hotel. When we finally parked and started to haul our bags through this massive parking lot to walk around the gate, a security guard found us and called the hotel on his cell phone to get a code for us. It would have been nice to have known about this beforehand. But the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We did not eat the breakfast (it seemed a little expensive.) And I would stay there again if I ever go back and I would certainly recommend it to others for a reasonably priced clean comfortable room very close to the abbey. The booking was for 24 hours (one night, Check-in 24th Nov, 2012) & accordingly I arrived there at 11 am on 24th. Surprisingly, I was denied for check-in and was forced to wait till 3 pm, which was very very painful to me. Then I was asked to check-out by 11 am in the next day!!!! I failed to understand -why so??Could you pl. clarify this.

With this hotel you get what you pay for. I was very pleased I got a good deal on this hotel. The hotel car park was a lot cheaper and more nearer to mont st michel than the main car. What a horrible experience. Due to my fault we did not arrive to town until 12:30am. We had called hotel, woman said no problem gave my husband a code to get into parking lot . arrived in pouring rain, pitch black, nobody around looked like ghost town. Finally realized parking lot code was not to lot at hotel but to gate that was down middle of street. […] Once inside street just row and row of hotels. Found hotel note on door said go next door to restaurant. Sole person speaks french little english. tells us to leave our car parked at hotel but we are staying at a different hotel. We walk dark street to come apon a trolly car to ask for help. They have just closed for evening. Speaks french little english at this point I break down crying. I beg my husband to call police for help. No police, our phone does not work anyway. We are told to park in parking lot 3 and they will send a bus to transport us . Finally dawns on me that they are sending us to the island Mt. St. Michel for our hotel room. We are being upgraded to the island, which under normal circumstance would be wonderful. We arrive at 2am to the island. It has taken us 1 1/2 hours to get our room. We awake on my birthday to the sound of seagulls, bells tolling and walk out into a medevial village. Check in service was poor. We had to drop off our bags at the restaurant where we were told to leave them on the floor! When we requested to leave in the hotel lobby, the waitress just said, it's not possible. Receptionist came in late, about 15 minutes past 3pm which was the check in time. When I gave feedback on the poor service, she was not apologetic. […] In fact she completed our check in and simply left our keys on the counter. How rude! Receptionist forgot to tell us our room comes with breakfast, and we forgot all about it until the next morning. Good thing is the still served us the simplified breakfast of coffee and bread at 11am. On the whole, we felt poorly treated and the room was stuffy, with windows that is not feasibly placed. When we arrived at Mt. St. Michel on 4/20 we found that they were in a transition from parking near the resort to using shuttles from the outside. We were supposed to be provided an access code to get in and you will get on in the future - it was just a state of confusion. The hotel is adequate and they give you a good breakfast. Mt St Michel is quite a busy touristy pilgrimage site and this looks like just one of many that charge more than what is offered. But it looks like there is no escaping it and many are far more pricey. If you have a car, stay outside of this town and drive in to see the monastery. Spartan.

The hotel is about 2 km from Mont Saint Michel and is an easy walk to MSM. Bus ride in is also available (bus stop outside supermarket) and is quite frequent (get timetable from driver). Breakfast was served in the big restaurant outside the hotel building.

As far as the hotel the bathroom was new and awesome, a great big comfortable bathtub, a lot of space in the room and the best bang for buck in my whole 12 days 4 hotels france vacations, but..., DONT TRY TO CHECK IN BEFORE 3:00PM!!!!, I arrived at 1:25PM and at the desk they told me the check in is at 3:00PM (I tried because I stayed at Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche and they checked me 3 hours before check in because the room was available with no extra charge and they let me leave the bags before and after staying in a secured room until I was ready to move) so at least they let me leave the bags in a corner in the lobby, and they told me I needed to comeback at 3:00PM for the check-in. We came back at 2:55PM, and the same woman who has talked to me before she check in the computer for my info and said "Check in is at 3:00PM", so I smiled, sit in the chair for two minutes and the lady then called me at 3:00PM and said your room is ready!!!! Pretty worn down hotel, but the basics were all there, it was clean and comfortable and teh location was super! It is not easy to see straight away though, its carpark is on the main street, not the hotel itself, so we had to drive around a few times and ask around

we arrived to the hotel at ca. 8pm. the hotel had no staff at the reception. instead there was a sign written in french and no other language. with no staff around, we could not get our room or keys to the room. at the same time, the reception area smelled strongly of urine, as if there was a problem with the plumbing. we asked for advice from people […] walking by who helped us understand what the sign at the reception said. the sign said we needed to pick up our room key from a neighboring restaurant. had we not received help from the passer-by in translating the sign, we would not have been able to get our room. once we finally got to our room, we figured out the bathroom did not have toilet paper. definitely not the best check-in experience. otherwise the room was very simple, small and ascetic. restaurants nearby close at 9pm so there is not much to do in the area after 9pm. i wonder what had happened had we arrived after 9pm when the restaurants are closed and there would be literally nobody handing us the hotel room keys. Was fine for me. Quiet and comfortable. Anyone who complains that this is not "on" Mont-Saint-Michel is someone who cannot read a map. The shower was disgusting. There were large areas of black mold growing on the shower ceiling and wall. The rest of the room was somewhat acceptable, although it hadn't been refurbished in at least twenty years. There are much better alternatives nearby.

the owner of the hotel was completely accommodating to every request we had in regards to our stay, buses, daytrips, etc. the room was adorable with a beautiful view over the pedestrian streets but was not too noisy at night. would definitely go back!

友人とモン・サンミシェッルに行くために1泊しました。午前中に着いたため、荷物を預かってもらいました。基本的にフロントに人はいません。同じ敷地内のレストランでチェックインします。ロケーションは良いと思います。モン・サンミッシェル行きシャトルバスのバス停も歩いていけますし、スーパーにも歩いていけます。どうしてもプレ・サレ（モン・サンミッシェル名物の子羊）が食べたかったため、向かいのメルキュールのレストランで夕食を取りましたので、このホテルのレストランは使っていません。朝食はスーパーのフードコートで取りました。部屋はきれいですが、寒い日だったのにバスタブの排水が悪く、使えなかったので★2です。

El hotel en sí es una buena opción. Su ubicación es muy buena ya que está dentro del "complejo" hotelero que hay al final de la carretera que lleva al Monte (que está cerrado y sólo se permite entrar en coche a los clientes de estos hoteles) y a unos minutos andando del bus gratuito para llegar al Monte (también se puede ir andando, es un paseo). La […] habitación es sencilla pero correcta, tiene baño y ducha separados y la climatización es buena. Los puntos que deberían mejorar, en mi opinión, son que las indicaciones para llegar no son buenas (realmente llegas a la barrera del complejo y no sabes si está dentro o no y tienes que acabar llamando por teléfono y te dicen que necesitas un código para entrar que te dan telefónicamente), por otra parte, el Canal + no se veía a pesar de estar anunciado en el hotel y, por último, por 9 euros yo no cogería el desayuno, no merece la pena. Lo malo: el primer problema al que nos enfrentamos es que llegamos de noche (alrededor de las 12) y no podíamos entrar a la zona de hoteles, ya que cuenta con una pluma tipo centro comercial, con código numérico para que se abra, necesitábamos una clave que jamás nos proporcionaron y gracias a Dios un hombre muy amable nos ayudó hablando al hotel para […] pedir el código y entrar. Lo bueno: Lo mejor que tienen es la atención al cliente, personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar, en recepción muy buen trato, las habitaciones bastante sencillas, pero para un par de noches está muy bien, el desayuno demasiado austero y la ubicación es excelente, a solo unos pasos del transporte que te lleva a Mont Saint Michel, no nos cobraron el estacionamiento y pudimos dejar el auto sin ningún problema todo el día y toda la noche. トイレとバスは別々にあり、トイレの電気が切れていたのでお願いしたら、すぐに変えてくれたのですが、２，３回スイッチを使ったら再度切れてしまい、受け付けは夜の６時から朝８時までいないので、電球の交換をおこなってもらえず暗闇の中でした。 ただ、ここはレンヌからのバス停に近く、モンサンミッッチェルまでの無料バス停も近く、ロケーションとしてはいい場所にあります。夜のモンサンミッチェルも最高でした。

ホテルからモンサンミシェルは見えませんが、徒歩2,3分の広場から島全体が見えます。島へのシャトルバスも広場前から出発し、夜遅くまで運行していました（2012年4月末より運行開始）。周りにはスーパーやレストランもあるので便利な立地です。建物は古いですがバスルームは非常に綺麗で快適でした。但しエレベーターはありません。なお、2012年4月末よりホテル周辺エリアへの車の乗り入れが規制されているので、車でホテルの駐車場までアクセスする場合は事前にパスコード（有料）を聞いておく必要があります。

受付にはほぼ常に人が居ない様子。 近接したレストランまで出向いてチェックインしにいかなければならない。 無料でWiFiを使えたが、予約段階ではその旨の記述がなかった。 部屋は清潔で狭くもないし快適だが、ドアの鍵が使いづらいのと、 アメニティが石鹸とタオルくらいでほぼない。 朝食はプラス10ユーロで近接レストランでとることができるが、今回は付けず。 モンサンミッシェル対岸にて、安く泊まりたい人向けの宿。

日本人観光客が過半数の観光地だからか、二つ星とは思えないくらい十分に手入れの行き届いたホテルです。 場所はモンサンミッシェルから約2kmの時点にありますが、逆に素晴らしい景観がすぐ先の広場で眺めることができるので、この地点を選んでよかったです。 バス停から5分もかからないので荷物を預けるのにも便利です。

以前に掲載の記事を参考に、覚悟にて滞在したが ショックなのは、周りのホテルより星の数が下なのに値段が同じくらいしたことでした。 壁紙は破けてる、トイレと洗面所が別のうえ、トイレには手洗いはない、エアコンはなし。 朝食はパンとコーヒーだけ。 近くのドライブインでも食事は安いものでしたから、、。残念でした。

O hotel fica na estrada de acesso ao Mont Saint Michel, estando o mais próximo possível para quem não se hospeda no próprio Mont. O quarto é simples e o carpete em alguns quartos cheirava mal. Para estadia em apenas uma noite, valeu a pena pelo preço, na comparação com outros hoteis.
