We got a good discount, so I can't complain too much. It was the most american of all the hotels we stayed in, and lets face it, the US has probably the BEST bathrooms on average in the world. Hotel was fantastically situated and was of excellent class with a free shuttle to and from the main island all day long. Downside was food and drink prices although many places weren't loads cheaper some of the local restaurants were. A fab stay and hotel!

The Hotel is a complex of several buildings. Some are better than others. There on your right is a farmacy- Take the street before the farmacy right and go to the COOP. It's a grocery store that has normal food pricing. First class service....you couldn't ask for anything more. The free water taxi to San Marcos Square was so convenient and saved us a lot of time. A great hotel. Probably the best you're going to find in Venice. The free hotel boat transfer was reliable and on time but you do have to do a bit of planning as they are not super frequent and half of the transfers don't take you to San Marco. Wifi access is expensive but overall a great stay.

The hotel is lovely. It's right on a canal across from St. Mark's in Venice. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. The staff was welcoming and friendly - greatly appreciated after a long flight from New York. We had dinner there - food was excellent and service was impeccable.
