Rodeway Inn - Grand Haven

Room was impressively clean. Hotel is obviously an older structure but looks well maintained. Whoever did the wallpaper in the last remodel didn't do a very good job, but that didn't affect my comfort or ability to sleep at all. Sheets/towels all smelled clean and fresh, A/C worked well. no complaints...good value for the money. No ice machine on hand...I had to ask the receptionist to get me ice from there back room, otherwise it was a nice place for the money..... I would stay there again

Nice location, short drive to beach and restaurants. Nothing fancy, basic motel,but adequate for a clean place to sleep and shower. Staff was helpful.

Stayed here last summer for a few days as well. Very clean and comfortable beds. Close to the beaches and amusement park. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. Looking forward to returning next summer.

The room was clean and neat but a little dated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a hot waffle for breakfast and the manager offered to brew me some decaf coffee since they did not have any out. I will stay here again.

I was apprehensive when I booked this place, but so glad that I did! This is an independent mom and pop place. I went in at a little after noon to see if I could do an early check in, and they checked me in on the spot and filled my cooler with ice. He also took the time to pull out a map and route out how to get to the beach and gave me the map- much […] appreciated! The room was very clean with (thankfully) very cold air conditioning for our 90 plus degree stay. The beds were also some of the most comfortable that I have use in a hotel- even my teenage girls commented on it. The room is a little older, but very clean. My youngest daughter is freaked out about bed bugs and makes me check each time at check in, and there was no evidence at all. My daughters found the morning breakfast adequate. They had cold cereal, oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, and freshly do it yourself waffles. Coffee, tea, and juice was also available. My only issue is that a fairly strong room deodorizer was used, but it was not too terrible. We walked to the beach for dinner (less than 2 miles). This hotel was clean, comfortable, convenient and less expensive than other options in the area. I had no problems and found the staff friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the area safe. I would stay here again.

We weren't very impressed with the comfort or look of our room. Pillows were limp, room looked like it needed some decorating help, peeling wallpaper, stained grout. But it was quiet and we rested well after a day on the beach.

You needs to sleep and have a quick breakfast .. this is the place! The Manager was great and responsible! Don't look for any other place this is great for your $$$$.

everything was good. dont expect a hilton property here, this is a roadway motel ( see the name of it!! ). It was clean, staff was nice, breakfast had cereal and waffle maker so that was a plus, room was cold which was great due to 100 degree weather.. a/c unit was loud but it was working overtime, we would stay here again especially because we like […] to drink and you can walk to the beach ( ~2miles ) or downtown/harbor ( ~1.5miles ). Great place to stay. Manager Babu is great and very caring. AM continental breakfast has only 3 tables. Not very relaxed place to have your morning breakfast. No coffee in room. Not sound proof. Could hear all night person upstair jumping and at times could hear noices. Not a bad place for the price. JK

The room was just like the reviews say. It was not super trendy or "modern" but it was comfortable, clean and very affordable. I was very satisfied.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel that was dog friendly, and this hotel was a good fit. Dated but clean, staff was friendly and accomodating. Close to the Grand Haven beach, and Kruse Park (the "dog beach"). Would definitely stay there again.

We spent the nite at this Rodeway to pick up a vehicle so we checked in late and left early. Room was clean and comfortable. Not noisy. All rooms are outdoor accessable, no inside hallways. Rodeway Inn in Grand Haven was very satisfying. We slept well, the room was clean, breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed the sights by the waterfront.--not too far from the hotel. Thanks.

This hotel did the job. We needed a place to stay after a wedding reception that didn't cost a fortune & this did the trick. Room had a microwave & refridgerator! Don't park under the tree's, we had sap on our windows. Decent hotel for the price & a great location.

Very easy to get to from the road. Parking directly in front of the door to the room was nice. Hotel seemed to be older, and had some things that could use to be repaired/replaced. Everything still seemed clean and comfortable. Not a Holiday Inn, but good value for the price.
