I booked this hotel for my parents. They are very happy and satisfied with the hotel. They said it's clean, big, and close to the site seeings. Since they are happy, five stars it is!

We were pleased with the hotel choice. It was clean, staff was helpful, room was comfortable, price was decent. Parking could be better priced. It's provided by a third party and was $25 per day plus tax. We walked from the hotel to the capitol building...maybe 15 min. There is also a metro station within a block. I would stay here again.

Our stay was very convenient to the Metro Navy Yard. Our daughter lives right around the corner, so we were right there by her.

We stayed for a long weekend with our 6 year old daughter. The room was small, but was clean and updated. The neighborhood was quiet, good for sleeping but not much going on. The photos on the website (Hotels.com) made this hotel seem much more elegant than it really was. The Lobby: very clean and sleek. The staff, managers & concierges are what make this place!! They were EXCEPTIONAL in customer service, suggesting where to eat in the city & sites to see. They assisted us with a wonderful tour at a reasonable price, though […] they picked us up 30min. late. The website posted “Guest parking is available on a limited first-come, first-served basis (surcharge). However they only have 50 spots available, though the hotel can host over 200 guests. AND there is a $25 fee per day to use this parking. That was not posted in the website. Be prepared to park on the street & feed the meter every 2 hours! The restaurant: seating is part of the lobby. The menu is limited, food was fair & overpriced. No ambiance or space to yourself what so ever. The wait staff was FANTASTIC!! The sports bar, though present on the other side of the lobby, was non-existent, empty boring space. The “Market” had an adequate selection for snacks, however, very over-priced! The computers were also in the lobby and you don't have privacy. Only one of the two computers was working. The pool area is small as well as the fitness room, though it was clean! Our room was adequate in size and clean! The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms quite large This really is just an average hotel, certainly not worth over $200 a night. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel was also very clean and the staff were helpful. My friends and I enjoyed going to the pool, it is small but fun if you have a small group of people. I also liked that they had a connivence store for snack food that was open all hours. The hotel was nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was in the middle of a remodel of the lobby and bar, so the breakfast was held in rooms and in the hallway on another floor. Clean hotel, courteous staff. Would not eat breakfast in the lobby unless you want something basic like yogurt- rubbery eggs, steamed tasting english muffin and unreasonable wait. Friendly folks at the front desk! Close to the metro station and you walk to a nearby skating rink. Hotel was clean and the bed was so comfortable.

We booked through hotels.com and it was a good choice. The lobby and restaurant are being renovated currently and should be back by Jan 2013. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Parking is $29.00 per day and is semi valet only, you have to take it to the garage then they park it..I guess it works. The Hotel was nice. We were a little diappointed that the pool was unconstruction. The Manager was not helpful and rather short tempered. The concierge was very helpful and seem to know more about the Hotel than the Manager.

Every employee was helpful, polite. Pool and spa were clean and warm, childrean enjoyed that. Only negative, not enough choices were offered at the breakfast, especially for the price charged.

So glad I shopped for price on Hotels.com - even the front desk Clerk said "Wow, you got a good rate." The hotel was great and staff was friendly but they really should have room service. Very clean room and easy access to everything. Cabs easy to catch, nice neighborhood to walk in. All good stuff!
