It was very satisfying, the personal was excellent, very nice people, and the room was amazing but the sofa bed was horrible very unconfterable.

Just the pool was worth it for any families with kids. The kids LOVED the 70-foot slide. It's like Great Wolf Lodge without the crowd. We had a 1-BR suite facing the marina. It was very nice and comfortable. Skytrain Bridgeport Station is connected to the hotel - $2.75 one-way to downtown Vancouver in 15 min. No parking, no traffic - can't beat it. […] Casino was not too crowded. Drinks were little pricey ($8 for a beer) at the casino - but then I won so it's okay. :) The 4-story garage is adjacent to the hotel. Free parking was a bonus. Only complaint - Wi-Fi did not work in our room and no Wi-Fi pool side. We were able to connect with an Ethernet cable in the room and they comped our breakfast. We enjoyed the roominess, quiet, and comfort of our corner suite. The hotel is a good option, even if you're not interested in the casino. (We didn't use it at all in the 12 days we were there.) The service at Tramonto was exceptional. In fact, all the staff we encountered were very efficient, helpful, and pleasant. The only minor negative I'd mention […] would be having to walk through the casino from the free parkade to the hotel, and this is not an option if you have under 18 year-olds in your party, so you have to walk around the outside to the hotel lobby entrance. This hotel is located in the same building as a large casino, and should not be confused with a similarly-named new hotel across the street that is apparently related. The RRCR has unique comfortable one bedroom rooms that are effectively small "suites" which feature a large sofa-bed in the "living room" as well as a king bed in the "bedroom". A door […] separates the two spaces. Both rooms have large flatscreen TV's and the arrangement can be very convenient for family groups. Staff are quick to respond to requests for extra bedding or any other issues. There is a large family buffet restaurant open to all, and a smaller informal cafeteria-style food court in the casino area that is not accessible to children. Take out items are available from this area and could be brought to rooms. Hotel features a large indoor pool with water slide and hot tub and a sizable well-equipped fitness area. Parking is in a parkade structure a few minutes walk from the hotel with the casino located in between and an additional 75 metres or so of the route being an open but roofed walkway. Children cannot pass through the casino and must use an exposed walkway outside to reach the parkade. In cold or rainy weather it is generally better to load passengers at the hotel front entrance, although this area can get quite congested and staff are necessarily urging people to move along. As "out-of-towners" we had never been to the River Rock Hotel and Casino. My daugher and I picked this particular hotel in order to surprise my son/brother for his 50th birthday celebration. Always love staying at the River Rock. Rooms are spacious and comfortable - especially the bed. Only negative is the coffee maker. It comes with 3 packets which will make 3 cups of coffee. If there are 2 of you and you want 2 cups of coffee each, forget it. If you want another packet, they charge you for it. It is also a pain if you both drink decaf […] because you only get one packet of decaf. You can phone the front desk and they will bring it, but you have to give them the other 2 that you don't want. Food in the buffet was cold, bed was uncomfortable, pool was super cold and the kids would not go in because of the temp. Also they had a room next to ours that had a party all night and we could not sleep. Hotel could be nice if they focused on the little things...

Everything you need to have a great time and all under one roof with easy transportation options to the city, airport or ferry terminal. The were excellent, room service was superb and fast, restaurants and entertainment very pleasant and good value for the money. We'll be back!

Very comfortable room. Nice bed, great TVs, nice bathroom. Couch was OK. Hotel was kept pretty chilly but very clean. Free coffee near food court. Buffet is pretty limited on variety but most of the food there was very good. Unfortunately they had apparently never heard of ranch dressing. Long walk from parking garage.

The Sky Train stop is great! Stayed in the east suites-they are showing their age, but I'd stay again. The hotel is not cheap.

Our flight arrived very early in the day. Our room was not ready for us when we checked in at 11 am. The desk clerk checked our bags for us and put a priority clean on our room with the maids and an hour later we got a call on the cell phone that we could go to our room to freshen up. I absolutely love the hotel, amenities, and location. The only downfall is the parking. Parking is complimentary though it is far from the hotel and the closer parking costs. Other then that no complaints

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The mattress is heavenly comfortable. I haven't slept that well in years. I can see now why River Rock is offering their mattresses for sale. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I could use their business center for free to check-in online for my flight out and print out the boarding pass. Great service. It was all quite good except for the check in experience. After being given the access cards for our room my husband and I were shocked to discover some one having a shower in what was supposed to be 'our room'. It seems the room was still occupied, a most disconcerting experience. While we were compensated with a minor room upgrade and free buffet […] tickets for breakfast the following morning, I feel the hotel could have been more apologetic and offered further compensation. A most unfortunate experience to have to go through ... One more thing, I believe it is the usual custom for the desk clerk to enquire as to how my stay was when I checked out, this did not occur. The only thing I can say that might be negative concerns all hotels and that is when you have 2 women staying in the same room, they should have 2 bathrooms. Because when you have a time line you have to follow, it gets cut in half when you have to share a bathroom.

The Hotel is quite nice. Found that the parking situation was horrible unless you want to pay for valet parking. The restaurants in the building were not that great, especially the service. The spa is very good, but they really push the extra's. If you do not like to gamble, you could find a much nicer hotel for the same money.

I have travelled to Vancouver several times over the last few months for medical appointments for my son. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The service is awesome! The sky train being right there is a major plus.

very nice hotel but for what I paid for a 2 bedroom Executive suite the room was quite small, was close to sky train and right next to the airport. Wasn’t much to do for children around the area, there was a cool night market that ran on weekends tho. the parking for the hotel was quite far away and you have to walk though the casino to get to hotel, […] didn’t appreciate getting asked for ID every time I had to go to the car and back, and when we first had to walk though the casino the security asked to search our suitcases. wont be staying here next time im in town. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed in an east tower suite with a beautiful view of the marina. Definitely worth the upgrade for the view. Lovely room too. We ate at the hotel's buffet once for dinner. The food was good, but not great. The food court in the Casino is very small, with only a few food choices. BUT... the Sky Train is located […] right next to the Casino, which made it SO easy to get to downtown. The concierge was very helpful and courteous. The free parking at the hotel was a plus! Me and my dad stayed one night at one of the resort suites the room was gorgeous the service was amazing and the food was delicious. It had a awesome casino as well! The sky train was such a bonus being connected to the hotel we just went in and out of the city as we pleased

Direct access to the Canada Line transit from the hotel which was very convenient access to downtown, the waterfront area and the airport. This saved us a lot in taxi fares alone. Hotel restaurants were very good, we ate at the food court, the buffet and the fine dining options and the food was good at all of them.

The suite was fantastic. However, the noise was very disturbing!!!! You can hear every single thing people say out in the hallway when you are in bed . Not usually a problem but at 2 then 3 then 4 in the morning it is not very appropriate.!!
